I sat on my porch from 2pm til 7pm purposefully to wait for the van because there is construction directly in-front of our driveway. We've called fedex to inform them of the access due to the construction mind you we live on a corner, there are 2 other ways in to our yard besides the main driveway, both packages have been less than 10lbs. We live 1hr away from where they are holding the package and cannot just drive out there to pick it up. Can't get a human on the phone. Calling FedEx to file a former complaint, but adding it to yelp as well.

After using my parts, I like to ship out the broken parts back to the mainland, that way I can avoid having to haul it back to Oahu. I have used the UPS Store in Kona, but since I was working in Hilo this time, the closest UPS Store was in Pahoa. Located at a small strip mall called "Puna Kai Shopping Center", you can find this little UPS Store just a stones throw from a McDonald's. Lots of free parking at the strip mall, so access is pretty easy. I walked into the store and was greeted right away. The friendly clerk processed my package, & gave me my receipt, and off I went. Although Pahoa is a little drive from Hilo town, at least this UPS Store provided a very valuable service to the Big Island community.

I go the next day, I miss um by 2mins, he tell too late! 2 days in a row I take time off from work cause they said my vehicle was ready. Plus da 1st guy tell me close 3:00pm but wrong day, when I went da next day, da second guy he tell me "No" 11:30am close for pickup". I tell um what I was told da day before, he shrug me off and he said "ah past 3:00pm anyways" (was 3:02pm...I was 2mins late, I get it, but why was I told 3pm da day before) Why no put exact pick up times, for vehicles and other items, on what days, on top of when da shipment gets there, cause I got 2 different answers, from 2 different people, on 2 different days. That was both inconsistent and confusing!! Now what I gotta pay da storage fee?? Cause now going be after the 2 day pickup window?! Right on!! and YB already increased da rates! Rajah

We covered it all with blankets and quilts we wanted to bring and all was fine and everything arrived fine. The people in the office were helpful and nice. We would definitely do it again.
