Our family ordered pizza from Full Cord Pizza for our wedding rehearsal dinner. It was delivered on time and was delicious!

One of the…read moreowners works as a school bus driver so they are closed on weekdays during the school year and they also do catering gigs, but during the day on a weekend you have a good shot at scoring some tasty Filipino food. The skewers and pansit are solid but the standout item is the lumpia, juicy and full of favor. Be sure to get a couple of these in your order. I was told they are "off the Northway at Exit 16" but they are more specifically at the corner of Ballard and Route 9 which is a couple of miles off the freeway. They lease space within a pleasant outdoor garden shop so you can stroll and maybe take home some flowers or plants after your meal.

They serve lumpia, pancit, marinated meat skewers (chicken and pork), adobo (chicken and pork) and white rice. There is patio seating nearby under tents. I stopped Manila Grille for takeout. I ordered the #3 Meal ($16.50) with Chicken Skewer, Pork Skewer, 2 Lumpia, Pancit noodles, & soft white rice, packed in a paper box and thin wooden flatware. The grilled marinated meat skewers were very tender and had good flavors. The hot fried lumpia with sweet chili dipping sauce was also pretty good. The pancit noodles (very thin glass noodles) were tossed with veggies, peppers, green onion, cilantro, seasonings, and tender pieces of chicken, had a nice blend of flavors. I would stop by again for Filipino eats if I am passing by this spot on the way to Corinth.

Luckily for the folks opening Classic Crust at the prior location of the old Jonesville Store…read moreduring the "pause" for the coronavirus pandemic, they have their mobile pizza oven to park in the lot of their future bricks and mortar location. And while renovations are proceeding inside the building, we the customers still have the ability to enjoy some very good woodfired pizza. From their menu of over a dozen specialty 12 inch pizzas we decided to try a Sausage, Peppers & Onions ($13) and a Fuji Apple & Brie with honey butter thyme drizzle ($16). We figured the SP&O would allow a fair comparison to more typical pizzas while the FA&B would show their ability to improvise. The dough is good quality, tasty and has a nice chew. I might consider requesting future pizzas to be left in the oven just a little longer to get more char and blistering, but that's a very minor point. The sausage has a nice flavor and the peppers and onions are grilled/sautéed for a nice effect. The only downside for me on this pizza was that the peppers had an off flavor of being cooked over gas. The honey butter thyme drizzle obviously adds an additional sweetness to the thin sliced Fujis and it might be considered by some to be a dessert pizza. But the balance of sweetness is just right in my opinion and the drizzle creates a nice glaze as the pizza cools. I'm truly looking forward to when the "pause" will end and Classic Crust will be able to allow customers inside their non-mobile location.
