New coffee shoo / bakery. Their coffee is from Devocion coffee shop in NYC pretty good and the pastries are beautiful and tasty.

Cozy, quaint and decent coffee. Pastries were nice also. Customer service was good, fast and handled large crowd well. Nice to have a new local coffee spot up here.

Inn At The Ridge - Another great room

Inn At The Ridge

My wife and I were looking for somewhere different to get away for our anniversary this year, and I…read moredidn't think she'd ever been to the Catskills area. We stumbled on the Inn at the Ridge through some Google searching. We only spent two nights, Friday and Saturday, so we were treated to Sal's weekend cooking. Easily among the best food at a B&B that we've ever had. When I booked, I didn't realize that I had booked the one room with a disconnected bathroom. Yes, it's private, but downstairs. Since the Inn wasn't completely full, they offered to relocate us to another open room, we didn't ask, they just suggested it. The house is old, like real old, so expect some quirks like wide creaky floors etc. The beds were quiet though, which was the important thing. Each room is uniquely decorated. The Inn is a nice distance from busy areas but not so far as to be a hardship. It's extremely close to Angry Orchard's Innovation cider mill, a state park with great trails, and even a little college town. I could probably go on, but Yelp's review editor is giving me issues. We'd definitely stay here again if we're in the area.

Our room was very comfortable with a king-sized bed. The location was perfect - close to Minnewaska state park, as well as several nearby towns and a few good restaurants. The breakfasts were the highlight of the experience! One of the hosts is a CIA-trained chef and he made fabulous food for us - chocolate-stuffed french toast, a great frittata, and more. They serve breakfast at a communal table, which is nice for getting to talk to the other guests there. We would definitely stay here again.

I've never had a bad meal, and the service is always spot-on, with a thoughtful system that lets you signal when you need something without ever feeling rushed or overlooked. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, with great music, fun events, and a family-friendly vibe that makes it easy to relax and stay awhile. Whether you're inside or enjoying the outdoor seating, it's just an all-around great experience every time. Easily a five-star spot in my book.

Our day started with a Chinese tea ceremony in the barn and then a catered lunch. About 6:30pm, the ceremony with a live music started followed by passed hors d'oeuvre, fresh oysters, and wood fired pizza. The wood fired pizza was very delicious and I enjoyed the blackened shrimp and the arancini. I tried the cider and the rosé, but they were too dry for my taste. Then at 7:45pm, we went into the reception pavilion. The menu consisted of a salad as first course, a duet plate of salmon and beef short rib for entree, and dessert. The summer citrus salmon with the multi grain pilaf was very good. After first dance, father and daughter dance, mother and son dance, and speeches, the DJ told us to step outside. After a few minutes, the sky exploded with light. It was a beautiful fireworks display from the hillside. The bathrooms were stocked with essentials in the toiletry baskets. Red Maple Vineyard offers a rustic barn and reception pavilion, massive green grounds, and a beautiful garden.

Deb and Steve were so welcoming and helpful in answering all of our questions, and their property is absolutely gorgeous. You can see the years of love and care that have gone into maintaining their house and its surrounding land over generations. One of their adorable cats even hopped along with us on our tour! While we ended up going with a different event space, closer to our ceremony site, I would recommend Stonehouse Gardens to anyone looking for a unique and rustic place to host an event, particularly if you are looking to be in the natural beauty of the outdoors. There were so many areas of the property that would have been lovely for photos, it would have been almost impossible to choose!

My husband and I got married here in November of 2022 after a patient two year waiting period after booking in 2020! We toured the premises and immediately saw the love and design that Sally and Doug put into creating this special place. We call our wedding a glorified thanksgiving dinner. It was centered around filling the four walls of the greenhouse space with long tables, family style service, and so much love. The Greenhouse was already so beautiful we barely chose to add anything to it for our ceremony. Some beautiful perks of this space include a TRULY pet friendly space, gratuities included in event pricing for ease, the venue is yours and your peoples for the whole weekend (none of that, "which wedding are you here from?"), a picturesque backdrop from all angles, and plenty of incredible vendors that know this space and stay passionate about working with them. I woke up on the morning of my wedding, had breakfast with my husband-to-be, and had the most relaxing and stress-free day knowing that I was seconds from my room in case I needed/forgot something and that I was already at my venue. There was a complete ease through the day-of-timeline and after the ceremony, we had returned to our room to sign the marriage license to find Audrey's staff even cleaned up our space and left us fresh chilled champagne and snacks from cocktail hour. We have yet to stop getting compliments from guests on the food, the drinks, and the customer service. I couldn't have asked for a better gift than getting to spend the money to have a wedding weekend here, to fully take our time with and absorb all of the love that surrounded us. THANK YOU from the bottom of our hearts to the whole team.

Walking inside, it's a different experience at Wright's Farm. This visit, I want to buy a bottle of local wine and some local cheese then go back to the hotel. I see there is a very nice selection of Hudson Valley and regional wines. I also buy a nice local, spreadable cheese along with some crackers. I noticed towards the back, I see a wall of homemade jams. And they're all packaged in these cute mason jars! Strawberry Jelly is a must but then we went a little nutzo with a few more jam flavors as well as homemade apple sauces, fresh cheeses and pickles! Sunday, its check out time and we're heading back to Long Island after breakfast. My wife said we need to go shopping for dinner today. I said, Let's go back to Wright's Farm and pick up dinner? And this was the highlight of our trip. In the cold cases, I see homemade ravioli, one of the stuffings was corn? I had plans to stop in The Bronx and get a few boxes of Raviolis. I gambled and said lets try their corn ravioli. O.M.G. This ravioli was fantastic! My wife made it with fresh sage from our herb garden. It was a little pricey but it was better than anything I had this year. For the week, we bought a large ham steak and a ham hock for pea soup. I saw something interesting, a black futsu squash? I told my wife, lets buy one and take a chance. Amazing! My wife cooked this squash and it came out deelish. Dessert? My sons inhaled the apple cider doughnuts we bought home for them.
