We went to Full Belly Deli yesterday for lunch in Minden, NV. We both just were in the mood for a salad. My husband and I both ordered the Cobb salad and he had a cup of stuffed pepper soup. I tasted his soup thinking it was not going to be my favorite but, it was delicious and tasted just like a stuffed pepper in soup form. I really can't say anything bad about the salad, it was a very good Cobb. The only comment I would make is it had most of the elements of a Cobb but they didn't offer blue cheese dressing which is a must for me. It had been a while since I visited Full Belly but I was so excited that they made cheesy potato soup. Let me say they did not disappoint! It was so good. 1/2 sandwich & 1/2 salad combo. The salad may be simple but is large & very fresh. I'm always hesitant to order salads for fear of wilted & slimy vegetables. This was very fresh & satisfying. Ranch tasted house made. Sandwich was the perfect size, I did have to take half home. I probably could have asked for more sunflower seeds on the salad but that's cuz I'm obsessed with seeds. During a recent half hour Lunch break (from a volunteer job at the nearby Historic Courthouse), I was going to be lazy and go to McDonalds, which I did the previous week when Full Belly Deli was on hiatus. But not this time. I parked the car and walked into what may have previously been a Subway. I ordered a tuna salad/cheese sandwich (with lettuce, tomato, and pickle), poured a nearby lemonade, and later picked a bag of chips from a provided basket. That and having at least 15 minutes to enjoy it made for a very nice casual Lunch by a window. My tab was paid at the end before I headed back to work. read more

The sandwich was good. It had a lot of meat but not a lot of flavor. Your sandwich comes with chips however, they only have regular chips left. The soup was beanie weenie and it was awful. The service was good. The service model is full service. Kind of weird for a sandwich shop. I might give this place another shot but not sure. read more

Unfortunately Worst sandwich I've had in a long time. I ordered a turkey sandwich on sourdough. It came on thin white bread ( there's a big difference between the two breads. it was dripping in Italian dressing. Luckily I asked for no mayo otherwise it would have been grossly soggy. Real deli type sandwiches. The hot pastrami was stacked high and on great rye bread. The french dip was more than my wife could eat so we took half home. Prices have been raised $1 per sandwich due to inflation but they are still fairly priced. We'll be back. read more

We were searching for someone to make side dishes for 175 people attending a celebration of life. I called several deli's. Their prices were outrageous!! We weren't sure where else to turn, but we found full Belly Deli. I called and spoke with Dawn and told her what we needed. Dawn and her mom suggested a macaroni salad, a ramen slaw and a taffy apple salad. When they quoted the price, I was pleasantly surprised. These ladies worked hard to make us what we needed. They even came in on their day off and gave us our salads the morning of the event, so they would be cold and fresh. These ladies went above and beyond for us. The salads tasted like mom would make at home. Everyone complemented us on how good everything was. I can't say enough about the quality of the food and service. God bless these ladies!! My wife and I went there last Wednesday, she ordered a salad and a bowl of bratwurst soup (I never head of bratwurst soup and I been all over this country) it was more like hotdog soup. The salad was iceberg lettuce that was plopped in a dish, it was brown around the edges, some sliced carrots on top and a few tomatoes, something that grandma made from the old country ( not appetizing). I had a French dip sandwich that had a few slices of meat in it, no cheese. This was the second time in minden I had a crappy French dip. Maybe that's how they make them in Nevada. We are moving to minden in the next couple of months and I will make sure I'll stay away from this place. read more

Dont go here...you can make this sandwich better in the luxury of your own home for 1/2 the price and 10X the sandwich. For their "hot sandwiches" they had 4 microwaves lined up ready to nuke your entire sandwich. Their cold meat came in large plastic bags....how do I know this? Because they were laying out on the counter for the entire 20 min I was there. 9 dollars for a sandwich my 7 year old niece could make better.....not cool. Make your way over to Sanchez meat company. My buddy and I went there for lunch at their new location. It was mediocre at best. I hate to bag on a new place, but it is what they make it. The service was ok and the place is clean, but the sandwiches are not that great. The meat was poor quality and the service did not justify the price charged. Their new location at 1659 Highway 395 in Minden is new and clean, but the food could use a lot of improvement to justify their prices. Also the staff would say things like. "Well it looks like you enjoyed it", when they saw that we had finished the sandwiches. Hey...maybe we were just hungry and we would have eaten anything! When the owner cashed us out and asked how we liked the food, I said that it was, "oooooh kay". This should have engaged a critical conversation about the quality of the food and the flavor. Get with it folks if you want to succeed at your new location! read more

We have read great things about this deli. Granted the ambiance is nice. All of the ladies are pleasant, but unfortunately that doesn't make a restaurant. We only sered the roast beef sandwich on a multi grain roll and a reuben also a cup of soup. Our bill was 23.00 and some change. I don't mind paying for a great meal, but these were very small sandwiches for the price. Also the roast beef is prepackaged which is unappealing. The multi grain roll tasted old , and hey doesn't sauerkraut get served on a reuben lol? Each full sandwich was 9.00. Mind you their full sandwich is the size of a half sandwich at other restaurants. When you think of a deli, you think of fresh meats piled high on a roll or bread and for a great price. 9.00 is a great price if the sandwich were great. I'm sorry full belly deli, we came, we ate, and we left. Two stars is for the ambiance.Minden meat and Deli is a few miles down the road go there. read more

Very dated location. Not as good as the Truckee CA location... Maybe different owners/managers.

I ordered a Reuben and was not impressed especially seeing it come out of a microwave. If they can't make a real Reuben sandwich, then take it off the menu. I'll never go back again read more
