Henry was available within 24 hours so we made an appointment. He arrived when he promised and did a great job. It was obvious from the minute he showed up that he had the equipment, the skills and just a great demeanor; really nice guy. I actually messed up - I thought I had enough shingles on hand, but I didn't. Henry simply said, "no worries" and ran off to get some. When he finished, he asked for less than his estimate (which I refused. A deal's a deal and he deserved the full amount). I recommend Gómez Diaz Roofing with no hesitation. Next time I need work done, Henry will be my first and only call.

The work…read morewent okay, but I noticed a pattern: he gives a price range upfront and then always charges the highest end of that range. Because I'm short on time and finding reliable vendors is a hassle, I called him again when I needed roof work on a third rental property. Communication over the phone was so so. He often talks to other people while on a client call or interrupts a call if someone else is calling him. It felt rude and, most importantly, like my time wasn't being respected. What really prompted me to write this review is his comment that he won't leave his driveway without a $100 service call. I already agreed to pay $395 for a full roof maintenance service, which should include inspecting the roof for any issues. Asking for an additional fee on top of that feels like he's trying to take advantage. Proper maintenance work should uncover problems without a separate service call charge. Overall, I wouldn't recommend him if you value honesty, transparency, and respect for your time.

I do ALOT of research before I do certain things, and even more so on this big of a project affecting our home. .. ok, ok, I do research pretty much anything and everything, food, entertainment, travel, etc... lol Anyways, so I did my research on "Davis Roofing", and met with 5 other roofing companies, so ya not only did i pick well rated roofing companies 4 and up, i called them, and got quotes from 5 companies. The first guy gave us a great $ Price $ quote, sadly he was not insured (um, huge red flag to me, anything to happen we would be at fault, or a grey area, and I dont need to deal with a grey area , someone getting hurt, and or lawsuits if it came to it. The other guys $ price $ ranged was close , just a few thousand dollars apart ish. But a few thousand is a few thousand, We are a budget family, only have one provider, my wife, I am on full Disability, so I try to help her with any thing I can, sometimes it hard due to my chronic pain, really takes it out of it, but she is Amazing.. ANYWAYS, back to this ROOF. lol "Davis Roofing", It came down to what ive researched , I narrowed it to 2 companies, "Davis Roofing" . I am very grateful that they took those massive boards/beams out, since they were really warp, so they replaced them, looks great like nothing happened or wasnt repaired. No charge , it was in our quote , so Im guessing they do that for all there customers, and part of there bussiness model , which is awsome and doesnt throw a wrench into the operation of the roof, and extra fees that is already expsive enough, lol... They really want to earn your business. And trust me they go the extra Mile for you. I could go on about there company and met with the owner, nice guy.. If this review or any have helped you, tell them YELP sent you... they will really appreciate it.. The pic with the gap in the boards , was the boards that were warped really bad, there is another pic in there thats an after photo... with painted siding...

There were finishing touches around the gutters that were never completed, specifically the caulking. I'll take some responsibility for paying the final bill because I assumed they would come back and finish the job. However, considering how much money we paid, I absolutely expected the company to make sure the job was completely finished before considering it paid in full. We have contacted them MULTIPLE times about the unfinished work. We have been told they would come back and take care of it, only for them to never show up. Other times, we've reached out and received no response at all. On top of that, we were never provided with a paid invoice, despite having paid for the work. We shouldn't have to repeatedly chase down a company for both unfinished work and basic documentation after paying them a significant amount of money. At this point, it's incredibly frustrating. The actual roofing work may have been good, but a job isn't truly finished when there are unfinished details, the company repeatedly says they'll come back and doesn't, messages go unanswered, and we still don't have a paid invoice. This could have been a very positive experience, but the lack of communication, follow-through, and professionalism has really changed my opinion. If you hire them, I strongly recommend making sure every single detail is completed, inspected, and documented before making your final payment.
