    bad pizza

Just tried pizza, not good at all. Little Ceasars is better. When I walked up to "cool trolly truck" I looked inside front window hella crap piled on top of each other. Giving me first sign of chaos and poor management. Pizza guy at window didn't have correct change so I told him he could keep it. Pizza guy said peppers and cheese were in box. In the car I opened box and found one cheese packet and one pepper packet thrown on top of hot pizza melting into pie. Not cool in so many ways. Pizza looked so wrong not the fire oven I imagined. Crust doughy almost like bubble gum. Sauce without taste. Zero. Chef Boyardee pizza sauce ? Great value ? Hunts, pizza catsup? Cheese just not good. Kinda cool box it was served in. Truck kinda cool from outside. Really wish they would have put some effort into their food and service.

Spectacular pizza! Crispy, cheesy and full of flavor. I got the Sicilian garlic chicken Alfredo sauce with pepperoni and half drizzle of pesto and other half with Spicy honey drizzle flavors were on 10. I tried their Napoli style pizza which was also a 10. They know how to make pizzas! Super cool truck never seen a wood fire pizza oven food truck for sure unique. Friendly staff, quick and great service with affordable pricing.

Our server was nice. Made good suggestions. I ordered the scallops and my mother had the Mahi Mahi. I forgot to take pictures of our entrées. I did not like the clam chowder. My mother ate hers and said it was "ok" The breading from the calamari kept falling off. I would have preferred that it was fried harder because the squid just felt uncooked in my mouth. I really enjoyed my scallops and the roasted vegetables that came with it. Well prepared and fresh. My mother did not finish her entrée. She felt that the Mahi Mahi was too salty. However, she had given up salty foods for awhile so it is more than likely a change in palate for her. They were out of creme brulee so we skipped on dessert. Very nice view. Nice old restaurant with great character. I would give this place another try to see if it was just an off day or not.

I still had to pick my kid up from school, so it just made sense to slide somewhere close by that never misses. Pulled up to Ristorante Pasta D'Oro -- this was my third visit -- and just like every other time, it delivered. Honestly, it might've been even better. We grabbed the regular spaghetti and split it between my two sons. Plenty of food, easily enough for two. I did ask about the spaghetti and meatballs since they usually run that as a special, but it wasn't available today. Still, the regular spaghetti held its own with no problem. I also picked up the mixed greens salad, and the vinaigrette is different in the best way. It's flavorful, balanced, and seriously one of the highlights. When I brought it home, my fiancée tried it and immediately said I should've asked for extra. I didn't realize it was going to be that good, but now I know. Pro tip: ask for extra dressing. We grabbed the penne pasta as well, which my fiancée said was great. And once my toddler finished his spaghetti, he went straight to helping her with the penne. That's how you know it's fire. On the side, I ordered the mozzarella sticks -- handmade, big, crispy, and cooked perfectly. I believe it came with about four to six, but they're large and filling. Everything was 10 out of 10. If I could give it a million out of a million, I would. Since I can't, it's a solid five out of five stars every time. Pasta D'Oro for the win.

FINALLY!!! We moved…read moreto Fairfield 3 years ago. Being Italian it is hard to find a place for me that meets the expectations of what a true Italian food should taste like. I've seen the sign when driving by a few times. Decided tonight to give it a try... I wish I did it sooner. Perfecto! The ambience and decor is very old school Italian restaurant. The wait staff is dressed as such. The dress code is casual (in case you are wondering). Let's get to the staff. They are VERY attentive. The was never a miss with them. Our server checked on us so often. It was nice. I wish I knew her name because she needs recognition! She was AMAZING! My Arnold Palmer was never empty. The support staff made sure our waters were the same way. The ONLY hang up is that bread refills were $3 (something we didn't know). It might be on the menu somewhere. We don't blame them for that but it's good to be advised. The food came out really quick as well and piping hot. Now let's get to the food that is just perfection. There is no kids menus but the portions are so big that the little ones can share off of you. We got our little guy a cheese pizza. I had a slice and it is really good. My son is normally picky but he was not with this pizza. We also had the bruschetta (I should have taken a picture... my fault). They make it on their sourdough. It was a nice twist. My wife and I ordered both fettuccine. She ordered the Alfredo and I ordered the La Strada (both of us added Italian Sausage). The kitchen was moving! It came out hot and perfectly on time after we finished our bruschetta. It was creamy with so much flavor. Even our 3 year old wanted some (good thing the portions are big). We loved it but we wanted room for dessert. Our server boxed it up our food. We ordered the crepes and spumoni. The crepes were so good! At the end of everything was done. My wife and I agreed. We found true Italian food. Definitely will be back. To the owner... Thank you! This experience has been everything we have been looking for.

I visited a week before to check out the restaurant and inquired in their private dining room that fits about 12 people. I made a reservation for 10 people for a Tuesday evening at 6:30pm. No deposit or anything required and they said we can decorate the room. I just brought balloons and a cake, and cut it myself. The food and service were great! We didn't have to wait long, we were seated next to the bar which got kind of loud but wasn't an issue. We got 2 samplers that came with calamari, bruschetta, and caprese mozzarella. We get complimentary bread and my dad wanted garlic bread. I ordered the crab ravioli which was so thick and with shredded pieces of real crab, so good! Items ordered were lasagna di carne, eggplant Parmesan, tortellini, seafood pasta, chicken fettuccine Alfredo. They don't have a kids menu but recommend ordering side orders of things so we got my nephews spaghetti noodles and one meatball and a sausage. They ate all their noodles. And we even ordered a ton of desserts- key lime cheesecake, chocolate cake, crème brûlée, and an affogato. 20% gratuity it was added and our bill for 10 people came out to a little over $500 which I would say was a pretty good price for our large group and we all were very full. They have both indoor and outdoor seating and a bar. There is also plenty of parking! Perfect spot before or after trying to go wine tasting in the Napa Valley.

Surprisingly good!…read more I haven't been to an Olive Garden in ages but after a recommendation, I came here. My partner and I shared a four cheese manicotti with marinara, the gnocci soup and the zuppa toscana soup along with the endless breadsticks. There were copious amounts of cheese with the option to add more for all the food and while the soups were thin, they're made fresh daily and taste exactly like their ingredients. The gnocci was soft and pliable and what I ended up focusing most on in the gnocci soup. the zuppa toscana tasted strongly of bacon ( i love bacon so that's a win for me) and had chunks of sliced potato in it. All the food leaned on the saltier side, with the manicotti tasting a bit sour due to the sauce but for the price and quantity, you truly cannot complain. Service is friendly and fast! The restaurant is well staffed and the ambiance is warm and inviting. My partner and I went on a Tuesday at 11 am to beat the lunch rush so we got seated quickly. As time went on though, the restaurant got filled up fast. Overall, this was a pretty pleasant experience! Do be cautious about the sodium intake and the breadsticks ( 140 kCal EACH.. but they're so tasty). Come visit this SPECIFIC Olive Garden with family to fill up on food and chat. Well staffed, quick service and surprisingly good food .
