Last minute family guests enjoying a Chompie's lunch
    Steve H.

We've been going to Gordon at the Chompie's counter for a long time now, usually for breakfast burritos but today he quickly turned around a last minute order for a sandwich tray. It was a great lunch, thank you Gordon!

Dinner from Fry's is gonna be awesome! Always a great place to shop. Thanks Fry guys!

    a wine and beer bar

Patiently , I awaited the new unveiling of the Fry's wine and beer bar which made grocery shopping not just tolerable but, made it an actual experience... sitting at the local fry's , wine and beer bar made it feel like home, a neighborhood cheers if you will ... greeted by friendly faces , experimenting with new beers and wines that you could purchase in the aisles right next to the bar, Vanessa, creating amazing cheese, dishes and charcuterie, always with lovely suggestions, and a smile on her face, Georgia behind the bar such a lovely fun, uplifting , fantastic person, when it shut down for remodeling, there was a gap, a hole, it had been disappointing, having it closed for 5 months but, we could only imagine how glorious the reveal would be ....but, with the promise of a brand new wine and beer bar, there was hope, and we were all excited. Upon arriving yesterday, the new placement by the very front of the grocery store, had a very austere, cold, vacant, sad feeling, Georgia was no longer there. The comfy seats were gone, the cheese section is now on the other side of the store, I have to say... I truly miss the old wine bar, the amazing folks that ran it, and the wonderful feeling it exuded.. the end of an era , of great customer service, a sense of community, fun , great hospitality and conversations.... Very sad and disappointing indeed ....

    So cheesy!

This is my favorite Fry's aka the Taj Majal of Frys - so many different options to choose from... Here's just a few unusual perks of this Mondo Ginormous store: * An enormous BOOK section * A CHOMPIES in here! Yes you can get a chocolate babka * Expansive CLOTHING/HOUSEWARES section like dare I say?! A Tarjay * COOKING SCHOOL - currently virtual but soon to be back in person * Drive-thru PHARMACY * FRESH SUSHI BAR - to-go right now, even tho seating area * WINE BAR - not sure if back open yet, but again, probably soon All the sections offer more than the "average" Frys - so yes the bakery, deli, kosher section, etc. give shoppers an epic selection. Everyone who works here is hands down friendly & helpful. My only challenge is that they have some customers (yes way b/f Gov lifted mask mandate on March 24th) who either are not wearing a mask or are wearing them underneath their noses. Of all the stores, I would think this one would have higher standards about CV-19 safety protocols. Disappointing that they're not enforced...

    Closed Deli department on Saturday
    Karis L.

Stopped here after a car show to grab a few items and it is extremely sad to see and hear how short staffed they are. They had more than enough food stocked up but not enough employees. They are so short staffed that the Deli dept was closed on a Saturday, due to short or no staff at all. Sheesh There was only 1-2ppl working in the meat dept and the poor Fella was working really hard stocking meats, as fast as, he could. I'm not sure what will happen with these jobs all over, that are short staffed, but unless they offer an out of sight hiring package... they appear to be headed downward and we all could be doomed! It's mindboggling to be honest and sad. I didn't even buy much and it cost me$77.00 which is why I'm starting to rethink my eating and considering things like no more meat, only buying rice, beans, potatoes, cereal and milk. Lol It's sad that liquor sales are actually a better deal than food these days.... may even consider a liquor diet. No judgement here, for those who go for the liquor sales instead of the food. As always, plenty of free and spacious parking. This is a great location as well

Too big and too expensive. If I'm going to pay that kind of price, I'd rather go to Whole Foods.

And the covered parking is kind of silly though because it's just a roof on top and not a garage or anything.

In some areas, it lacks variety. But, my recent stop just blew me away. I came in specifically for produce and was shocked at how much lower Winco was compared to the big-name stores. I still had my receipt from the previous week's shopping elsewhere so I started wandering around, comparing my list item for item. The difference was significant. The bulk section gives you everything from spices (You can buy just a little of something you don't use often.) and they had some interesting base mixes for things like gravy or hummus. I did pass by all the bulk candy. Even though they did it for me, I did carefully check out the Sanderson Farms chicken I usually buy elsewhere and their non-sale price was lower for the same brand and quality. I was looking a little lost and an employee did pop over to ask if I needed help. My cashier was fast and friendly. I'm not a fan of the self-bagging. It feels rushed when there is a long line and the bags are thin. I doubled most. They don't take credit cards. However, in these days of high prices, the minor annoyances are outweighed by the savings. I will be doing my major shopping here next week.

It has a huge entrance and exit area. As you walk through the store, there's stocked items on the left & right of you. There's also a incredibly large bulk section, from candy to pet food. This store has a vast variety of things to buy from bake goods to laundry detergent. Some items are 20 cent to 3 dollars cheaper than Walmart, but a large portion of items are the same price. Also, WinCo only takes debit cards, cash and personal checks. The only true standout is that it's open all the time, but if you want to buy a 3 lb pack of Jennie-O ground turkey, it's the same price at their competitors. I live several miles from Bell rd, there's a Walmart less than a mile from home, so......

The Poblanos would've been good for me, but they had corn in the stuffing. Being diabetic, I tend to avoid corn. Because of that, I think I've lost the taste for it altogether. I still have a few things in my freezer that I have not yet tasted, but I'll update this review when that happens. I did not interact with any staff except the cashier & bagboy and they were both nice and friendly. I'd return to this location again and recommend it to others.

Yes. Did the cashier look me in the eye and say literally anything helpful? No. I had to learn through social media that these innocent-looking little worms have allegedly sent people into emergency negotiations with their digestive systems. So now my bag of sweet-and-sour gummy worms remains sealed because I, for one, prefer my organ systems unchallenged. No warning. No, "Hey maybe don't eat these before a road trip." Just, "that'll be $3.99." One serving of these gummy worms, eight pieces, has 14g of fiber. That's 50% of your daily value! The only warning on the front of the bag is a cute little worm declaring that the gummy worms are, "not a low calorie food." At least the Trader Joe's, "Just a Handful of Pitted Salted Manzanilla Olives" for $0.99 were good. But the amount of olives I eat in one sitting, I would need the Costco size container.

The first thing I noticed was the entrance it's positioned on the side of the building facing smaller neighboring businesses. It's a bit unusual and honestly made me second-guess parking and going in at first because the exterior gave off a slightly off vibe. The layout just feels like it could be clearer or more inviting. Inside the bakery section, a very friendly gentleman was going through and tallying up leftover baked goods. I asked what he was doing,( because I'm noisey lol) he explained they were accounting for what was left some items get sold and some get discarded. It did make me think about food waste and how leftover items could potentially be put to better use. I was still able to grab what I came for, and the service overall was good. It also seemed like they were in closing cleanup mode, even though the store was still open, likely due to a slow "happy hour" type period with very few customers. Only real downside for me would be visiting later in the day when it gets dark the exterior and setup don't feel the most comfortable at night. During the day though, I'd return again. The employees in bakery definitely deserves credit for being helpful and handling everything smoothly There's plenty of parking in front
