Fry's pharmacy continuously experiences "computer problems" resulting in slow/no service. There are times when they can't even fulfill prescriptions because of this recurring issue. Get your food here, NOT your medications. Yes, I know. Most pharmacies are slow as molasses, but this one should get an award for being so slow and incompetent. Let' start: Their pharmacy people are super-nice and friendly, sort of like meandering cattle and just as useful. My hats off to them for coming up with all kinds of creative and polite ways of saying, "Computer is offline, come back later". I know the technical issues aren't their fault, but apparently they have no shame working for an incompetent employer. Sometimes they will just ask you to wait "a few minutes" and try the computer again. That turns into 15 minutes... or in my case 72 hours. No excuse for this other than bad Fry's management and pure ignorance. I went to Frys THREE DAYS before surgery to make sure that everything is in order (insurance, meds, etc) because I knew AFTER surgery, I would be in severe pain. SO... Went in on Monday to set things up. "Computer problems.... Come back tomorrow...." SO they collected my info on post-it note and attached it to the computer. Came back the next day and my sticky note was still there.... "Come back Wednesday "they said (they day of my surgery). Well, it's Wednesday. My prescription was called in and it was supposed to be ready to pick up by 8am. Computer down. "Come back at noon". It's 3:15 PM. I am in more pain now than I have ever been in my life and I hate Fry's with the same level of intensity. I'm STILL waiting for them to call me back. I will NEVER shop at Fry's for food or anything else for as long as I live. I will repeat this story to anyone who tells me they are taking medication. read more

I would rank it ZERO. I watched 2 customers walk in without a mask. When asking a store representative about it I was advised it was their right. My right to never shop their again!! read more

OMG!!.... They have the BEST CHICKEN TENDERS EVER!! They are so moist amd huge.. My son loves them for his lunches. They are made Fresh everyday and ready around 10am!! They have replaces a few chicken places and now we only go to Fry's. So Yummy!! Oh and I love I can get in and out within minutes if needed. Or if I'm doing a full shopping trip they always have everything I need. read more

This used to be my go to store for everything but lately the customer service is horrible. One cashier working while 30 or so other employees are stocking or just chatting. They are trying to force people to do their own check outs and quite often some of those machines are down too. And you better watch for the employees dragging around order carts and pallets of boxes because they feel they have the right of way in the aisles. I placed an online order for my in-laws on the 8th April and closest delivery date was going to be 12th April which was ok but when I went to finalize and pay for the order, it said 5 hour window on the 8th. I was ecstatic. My in-laws are 86 and 91 so this was a great help. It was delivered 4 hours after the order was placed on 4/8/2020 and everything was great. As they were putting groceries away, some things were left out but my credit card was overcharged by almost $27 besides the $9.95 delivery fee and I had even given an over 15% tip. I called the 91st and Olive Ave Peoria store and spoke with Noelle, the Asst Mgr. She was very apologetic for the mix-up and offered to deliver the missing items to my folks gratis which she did. This was above and beyond what I had expected of any business. This is why I shop Frys Foods every chance I can. Thank you very much Frys for taking care of my parents. We appreciate it very much. In the meantime, I will call Instacart who overcharged me and received my tip undeservingly at this point for the overcharge. read more

Robert in the produce was so helpful! He helps my mom and I when we come in every week. He taught us how to pick out good fruit and vegetables, as well as know when they're in season. I am leaving to college and feel confident that he will help my mom when I'm gone. He always makes shopping a pleasant experience :) read more

I had to take a minute to review this Fry's. I started out at "my" Fry's on 75th and Cactus. I was doing a specific shop to take food down to my kid in college in Tucson. Cheezits were on sale, but this store was out of them....asked 2 different people....none to be had....which is not unusual at this Fry's, but I figured I was there on the Saturday morning of a 2 day sale, surely they would have them. I have gotten in the habit of visiting other Fry's for the weekend sale items as this Fry's seems to frequently be out of them. So I called 91st and Olive to see if they had them . The Asst Mgr Mike said if they did not have them he would substitute the larger size. Yeahhhh, now that is some customer service right there :))!! It does not stop there. I am not in the door but a minute and already TWO people have greeted me!! I asked Otis, one of the gentlemen that greeted me, if he had a special display of Cheezits....we looked and no, he did not but did not hesitate to give me the same deal as Mike did on the phone....Jackpot.....more amazing customer service. I grabbed the rest of my things and went to check out. Otis helped me check out and Mike the Asst Mgr. came over to make sure I was being taken care of....it was like winning the Trifecta on the Triple Crown. Can't say enough about this Fry's....my new Fry's. It may be a bit farther but worth the trip!!! read more

I love Fry's. Its my favorite store of all of them because they usually have great bargains and USUALLY friendly staff. Today I was surprised that I received NO "Thank you"!! I usually do!! It does make a difference. This gal did tell me "how much I saved by shopping at Fry's" but there was NO thank you!!! It was store #45 and operator #120 about 11:30 this AM. The receipt I got had no "survey code" so it makes it harder to comment. If this is the policy for this store, guess I will frequent a different one. read more

This store is a joke. I haven't shopped there for a couple of months even though I live 1/2 mile from it. Every time I have been there it's difficult. The parking lot is horrible at night the lights hardly work and you can't hardly see. There has not been one time I have ever gone that they haven't been out of something on my list. Because the store is busy there's lots of people which wouldn't be a problem except for the fact that the store is cluttered. Isle stacks, side displays and pallet drops everywhere. You will spend extra time waiting for someone to get out of your way just to find out whatever it is you want is out of stock. I just left and not one bag of 50+lbs of dog food. Now I know why I haven't been there in months. I would gladly give extra money to not have to deal with this place ever again. The inside is a joke and even today people out front asking for money. Why can't I just shop for my family. I don't care if it's the fire department or one of the money drug addicts that hang out, there has always been someone looking for a few dollars. I will drive 10 miles or more to never give that store another dollar. read more

Well, I never thought I would review a supermarket, let alone a chain. But, here it goes. This location is up the road from my great aunt's house and has a Budget kiosk where returned our car (see my review.) The store is clean with well organized and wide aisles. We stocked up on Activia, an apple fritter and butterscotch muffin from the bakery, as well as loto tickets. The apple fritter was alright not crispy or soggy, but sweet and not too doughty with a wonderful apple filling. The butterscotch muffin was to die for, moist yet firm with a crispy, sweet top and moist interior. All of the employees are nice and go out of their way eager to help you. We also bought a bouquet of flowers for my great aunt. Next time, I will have to try more from their bakery and the fried and rotisserie chickens from the deli. So, for an excellent grocery shopping experience with friendly staff at reasonable prices, Fry's cannot be beat. Keep up the good work guys.! read more
