    Shrimp banh mi
    Yelena C.

Cool place, indoor and outdoor seating. The service was excellent. The food is very good. The shrimp banh mi was bursting with flavor, I loved all the pickled vegetables. The short rib grilled cheese was more of a short rib sandwich than a grilled cheese but it was delicious. The apples were a nice touch and needed to break up the richness. The fries were well cooked.

Lovely chill Tuesday around 6pm. It is always feel the hidden gems of little things in Industry city. In the courtyard, some open outside sheets are available. This place is modern and friendly local vibes. Fried Calamari was so fresh! I ordered a Bloody Mary it was good. They are very kind :)

It was an hour's drive from Queens to Sunset Park. Frying Pan Brooklyn is located inside Industry City. Luckily, my sister-in-law found a metered parking spot just a block from Japan Village. My family and I went to Frying Pan Brooklyn to celebrate my birthday. We grabbed an outdoor table. The ambiance was perfect for our lunch date. I told our server about my food allergies. I ordered our food at the bar and closed my tab. Food *sharing is caring* Baked Jerk Wings: We were dissatisfied with the baked jerk wings tasting foul. They gave me a refund. Salmon Filet Sandwich + kettle chips + mcclures spicy pickle: The salmon filet sandwich was yummy. Mac & Cheese: The mac & cheese was bland. Shrimp Banh Mi (no cilantro) + kettle chips + mcclures spicy pickle: The shrimp banh mi was flavorful. Tator Not-Chos (no chili guac): The potato tots were crunchy and tasty. Tator Not-Chos (chili guac)

Frying pan Brooklyn is a great spot in Industry City if you are looking for good bar food and fun. The atmosphere is friendly and welcoming. The bartender on Friday nights always plays 2000s emo/punk music and that is totally my jam. The food is delectable. Loaded tater tots with the pulled pork is a must. I also tried something from their Oktoberfest menu which was also good.

Every time I hit Industry City, Frying Pan is on the list. Always really good, fresh and the team is so nice. Got the veggie burger, which was fresh. My aunt switched up her meal and got the salmon (usually gets the Caesar salad with lobster, which she raves about), and she was happy about the switch. The loaded tots are my favorite. The Mac was pretty good, I prefer it to be a little more broiled, but we enjoyed it. Good vibes all around, will definitely be back again soon.

A little spot inside industry city. Industry City itself is a fun little spot to hang out and shop or drink beers with friends. Went during the day on a weekday and it was pretty quiet but imagine after work and on weekends it's packed. Either way the place was basically empty but the service was a little slow. But eventually got seated and ordered and the food was great. Got two different style lobster rolls and a cocktail and all of it was great! Would definitely come back for the rolls

Visited this place on a weekend. We got seated right away without a reservation. Ordered lobster roll, salmon burger, and mushrooms flatbread. Everything was delicious and full of flavor.

Shrimp Boil and Connecticut Lobster Roll

We had the Shrimp boil and Frying Pan Lobster Roll. Both choices were excellent. The Shrimp Boil was absolutely delicious. Decent amount of Shrimp, Corn and Chorizo. My only suggestion would be to give a little bread with the Shrimp boil so as not to waste any of the sauce. Definitely recommend this place when visiting Industry City in Brooklyn.

    I still kick ass

Such a great experience! Yesterday, we had a "staff meeting" at the Frying Pan Brooklyn. The organization I work for is new to me, so I wasn't sure what to expect. The staff meeting was absolutely fun and it allowed for all of the staff (some work on-site and others like myself WFH) present to get to know one another, eat, drink and have fun. Amanda was an AMAZING AND AWESOME host! All of the staff were friendly, helpful and accommodating. We were led to a game room, complete with some old school games, reverting myself and the professionals I work with back our childhood. We had so many drink options and a spread of food that was beyond delicious. We spent several hours eating, drinking, playing games and getting to know each other. No one knew what to expect, but the venue was definitely fabulous for whatever reason we were there lol. I suggested to the CEO that we do this every Friday for the summer. I don't know if it was the alcohol or what, but she said, "Yeah!" LOL

Read some stellar Yelp reviews before coming here for lunch. Counter staff running the bar area was super friendly and helpful. Ordered the Connecticut Lobster Roll- and loved every bite of this awesome sandwich. The chunks of plump warm lobster meat filled the sandwich inside its buttery bun; makes the sandwich so much more delicious. The meal comes with side of Cole saw; crispy pickle, and a bag of kettle chips. Lobster roll is a bit pricey at close to $30- this is my indulgence when in IC

Did they get rid of the kids menu? We used to go here with the kids all the time but since they renovated the dining room it seems like the kids menu is gone.

Cozy, old-school Italian vibes, staff speaking Italian like they're judging you lovingly, and Negronis that'll make you rethink every bad decision you've ever made at a bar. I ordered the lasagna because a man should test a kitchen on its fundamentals. Absolute home run. Rich, layered, comforting--felt like someone's nonna was in the back nodding in approval. No notes. No leftovers. Bar Mario isn't trying to be trendy. It's just confident, timeless, and quietly excellent. It's not a huge restaurant (so I would make a reservation): a few 2- and 4-seat high tops, maybe 6 or 7 tables, and a bar with about 10 seats. But the environment is warm and cozy, with low lighting and music loud enough to enjoy, soft enough to have conversations with your party, the bartender, or whoever else. The servers are all excellent. Very charming and friendly. They check in often, but not in an intrusive way. I've also seen the owner walking around, greeting customers, and talking with his staff. He's always around, and he's a friendly presence. There's such a great neighborhood vibe here - there are definitely some regulars here, and it helps create a homey atmosphere. The food here is outstanding. I have not had a bad dish here. The Caesar salad is actually made with several long stalks of romaine, so it stays crisp. The meatballs come with polenta around the plate, and it is fantastic. I've also had the hangover spaghetti (excellent) and the lasagna (amazing). Their calamari also has a few shrimp and (I think) some bay scallops, so that's a great addition. And their cocktails are outstanding - potent but flavorful. I don't get a chance to go to Red Hook much, but when I do, I definitely want to stop here. It's on the "main road" of Red Hook, and there are definitely some cute shops and coffee places around, and of course, there's Ikea not too far. This restaurant, though, deserves your business.

Dessert- The Butterscotch Sundae my daughter hogged, and the Lundy's Huckleberry Pie. Now let me tell you. I do not eat huckleberry pie, but that one, I could not believe how tasty. The crust was hard and sweet and the filling had the right flavor. Not too sweet or tart. All throughout dinner my husband and my son kept saying how great the food was. It was truly amazing and the service was great, with only 3 working and staying attentive to several tables. I would definitely come back. Maybe for a girls night next time.
