Some flavors are better than others. I've only seen aguas frescas advertised here, never sold. I hope they will offer aguas frescas soon! I do suggest that the paletas with hard seeds be coarse filtered before being put into molds. The freezers are too big for the volume of paletas being stored, so the temperature of the freezer is warming up too much each time it is opened. Some of the paletas have partially melted at some point in the past. Decrease the volume of the freezer by placing empty boxes under the paletas to improve the freezer temperature and improve the perceived abundance of paletas. I can't speak for the nieves or Thrifty Ice Cream. Having eaten Thrifty Ice Cream at Thrifty's many times in the past, a comparison test will be easy. I regularly eat their paletas and will continue to support this much needed vendor in Phoenix, AZ. I hope they continue to improve.
