as you first enter, you find an extremely clean establishment! It's very easy to understand the flow of things, you order and then sit down and they call your number. They had so many delicious things on the menu it was hard to pick what to get - we ordered an elote in a cup, mongoneada, fresas con crema, chocolate icecream cone and a scoop of pistachio! Nothing disappointed. We where so excited to eat everything we didn't snap any pictures. But 10/10 recommend. Very nice service! read more

What I like about this place is that it's the most spacious and clean Frutilandia that I've been to. Heck, they even have electronic key codes for their bathrooms, something I almost never see at any restaurant. I tried out their shaved ice and a Tosti-Elote. This cost me $32.04. I felt that the manga shaved ice tasted way too artificial and didn't really capture the taste of mango, but it was still delicious. I added condensed milk and didn't really taste it so I don't think that's an extra charge that is worth it. The corn in the Tosti-Elote was forgettable. Service was somewhat slow too and the hot sauces provided weren't very good. read more

Stopped in for lunch today at Fruitlandia, a chain of restaurants and snack shops in the Phoenix, Arizona area that specializes in fresh fruit-based desserts, such as raspados (shaved ice), fresas con crema (strawberries with cream), macedonias (fruit salads), and various fruit and ice cream drinks. The establishments also offer savory Mexican food, including items like Sonoran hot dogs, carne asada fries, and ceviche, serving a combination of sweet and savory. My wife tried the Sonoran dog combo with fries and a drink for $8.49. I selected the ceviche tostada; both were excellent. The ceviche was the bomb and a deal at $7.50. We have to go back to try some of the raspados and fruit drinks. read more

What a great little place. A large variety of drinks, fresh fruit, ice cream, hot dogs, nachos and on and on. A great place to go if you have a group and everyone wants something different. FRESH seems to be their word of choice, because all the food seems to be just that, fresh! I had the Nachos Supreme, fresh chips, Carna asada, refried beans, shredded cheese, cotija cheese, pico de gallo, avocado spread. And there was lots of it. Took it home, cracked a soda, turned on some of the LLWS and happily munched away. Enjoyed every bite of it. Give it a try. read more

Absolutely terrible. This is by far the worst Frutilandia location. They scam customers with ridiculous prices and pathetic portions -- $12 for what they call a "fruit raspado," which is really nothing more than a pile of ice, watered-down juice, and a tiny scoop of ice cream. The service is just as bad: careless, unprofessional, and consistently disappointing. This isn't a one-time mistake either -- I've given them multiple chances, and they've failed every single time. Save yourself the money and the frustration: you're better off buying fresh fruit and ice cream at the store and making it at home. You'll get way more value, better quality, and none of the insult of being ripped off here. read more

The food and drinks are very mid. Flavor isn't all that great. There's nothing that makes this place stand out. I ordered several items to try it out and was disappointed with all of them. read more

I have never tried, or thought about trying a Raspado before, but my girlfriend nearly hit her head on the roof of the car in excitement of Frutilandia. I tried the mangoleda. I understand the excitement and why the atmosphere was electric on a Saturday afternoon but the drink is too sweet for my taste buds. Bonus point for having tajin on the counter for self added zing and pep. read more

All delicious and sooo much more we want to try. Menu has maany options. We enjoy the place and the service. Delicious water made from fruit instead of soda. All in all it's a great and cute place. The staff is friendly and answer any questions. They were so kind and helpful when we were trying to decide what to order. The vibes are great and friendly as well. Everything tasted and looked freshly made. They made really interesting and unique combos with sweet and spicy. A must try! Come and try for yourself! read more

Ordered the fruta Picada which comes with 4 fruit, ordered 2 watermelon, strawberries and pineapple. I took 3-4 pieces of the strawberries and they were all mushy, bad and sour, my boyfriend agreed, the watermelon was also not sweet and bad. It was 8pm at night when I got my order, all I ate was the pineapple and the other items were inedible. I just got off work, and I'm 7 months pregnant so I didn't call that night, but I kept it and called the next day which the manager told me to come in and they would take care of it. I go in and give them the watermelon and strawberries and said that they can't do anything for me because I didn't bring it back the same night, which I wouldn't have anyways being 7 months pregnant, just getting off work. Then tried to say I ate half of it but literally only took 2 bites of the watermelon and a few strawberries. All that was ate was pineapple, but then kept wavering back to if I would've brought it back the same night they would've been happy to replace. So it's supposedly half ate and they would've replaced it the same night only? The pineapple was the only thing edible it was not half ate, food was given back, not worth $11 at all. La Michocana would never. Terrible customer service making me come back just to tell me same day replacements only, I had my receipt and food was given back... read more

We came here two nights ago to enjoy one of our favorite drinks from here. We preordered when we arrived there was two people behind the counter and they were on their phones as we came up to the counter they completely ignored us and continued talking while on their phones. We stood in front of them patiently after about 5 minutes they finally acknowledged us. We told them that we had an order they handed us two cups one had ice cream on the whole side and the other cup and the other cup was missing ice cream which made it a medium. We then ask for a straw which she answers by saying they don't have any then continues on her phone and leaves us standing there with nothing. This is the second bad experience there. They treats and drinks are delicious but customer service is horrible. I read more

Where do I start with this new place!?? I went because we received a buy one get one 50% off coupon. I seen a lot of people with that same coupon lol! Anyways, the place is really clean, mostly because it's new. We took our diablito and fresas con crema to go. I was optimistic about these simple items, but I was disappointed with the actual taste of these two treats. I mean I paid $16 for these 2 items and the taste wasn't good quality. I give this establishment 3 stars because of their cleanliness and effort to make the treats look appealing... I'm very disappointed. (Ended up not feeling well when I ate the diablito and my wife bit into a sour/rotten strawberry) read more

Ordered a fruit bowl that had mango, pineapple, cucumber and watermelon. The mango was not ripe yet so it was very hard to eat. Next time, I would go for all watermelon. Daughter got double scoop bowl w/ chocolate and mint. Actually pretty good! Husband got a strawberry raspado w/ ice cream that also was tasty. Business looks nice, but unfortunately the tables were not wiped down. Very sticky. Our table had trash and spilt ice cream all in the bottom on the floor. Customer service was average. If going, reach for the ice cream menu and maybe get togo. read more

I was so excited for this place. It's huge inside, the lights are bright! Yay... Well that excitement ended when the cashier who was obviously having a horrendous day practically yelled at us for not knowing what we wanted. We asked questions and she just kept getting more and more annoyed with us. We order the mangoneada cup and the corn cup. The corn was straight RAW! We took it back up and she was like this is what it's supposed to be! Uhm, hello, no it's not. The mangos were slimy and nasty. We threw all of our food away. Earlier though, we asked for napkins cause she gave this stuff to us with no napkins. She gave us ONE napkin and said that was all we could get. There isn't napkins at the tables or at the trash receptacles. The people at the table next to us had a similar experience. read more

Cashier runs to hide in the restroom every time a customer walks in . I sat and noticed she kept doing it with everyone the girl in the back that was actually working had to keep coming up to take orders and make them . I didn't get names but I assume she was the cashier because she stood by the register as long as they had no clients walk in she was light skinned heavy makeup up and with a bad attitude like she was not happy to be there and was bothered by clients. The food was not too bad but the attitude did it for me not to want to come back read more

Food was so good, I actually had a hard time narrowing down the choices. Even after ordering I kept stopping to eat and drink a bit of everything. The ladies always have a good attitude but a lot of the time The same employee at the cash register has to finish taking the order from everyone in line so she can make yours and that can take a while, while the other ladies are in the back doing who knows what.everything I tried it's been pretty good, fresh with lots of flavor except for the raspado de nuez, Before I order it I asked the cashier if she would recommended, She smiled and said it was very good which was not the case she press so much ice in the cup that It got stuck and hard :/ And there was no actual flavor which was surprising I don't recommend this one hopefully the other flavors aren't the same....I was so upset I just ended up throwing it away. read more

Great experience. Lots of flavor. Go support local businesses. I don't understand the other ratings. Overall, you're buying flavored ice. And the prices are fair. It's a nice establishment. They have to charge to make their bills. If you think its expensive. You should Continue buying from street vendors instead. This is a better vibe. A little more upscale.
