Our waitress was tentative and on point. She moved quick and was accurate. Today, I tried something new. I ordered the Carne Asada Torta and substituted my French fries for home fries (order them extra crispy). I prefer them extra crispy because they're a little under done for my liking the regular way they cook them. The accidentally added bell pepper and onion to them and the waitress let me know ahead of time. I told her it was ok because I actually like them like that. My torta was good. It's huge! Definitely a meal for 2 people. The bread was soft - it could've been toasted a bit more for me because it wasn't able to support the beans and meat and started falling apart. It comes with lettuce, tomato, avocado, beans, mayo, and cheese. The meat was flavorful and even had a nice char and the refried beans were nice and creamy. Even though it was good, it wasn't my favorite. No matter what you order, make sure and get their salsas. They have a green and red and I think it's best to mix them... The ambiance is full of life. There's music playing in the background but it's not too loud. Definitely a cool little spot to dine in.

Being from the IE I remember driving by the corner location and its many iterations throughout the years. The location is not going to win you over with its glamour but it will impress you with its food and service. We got there at 10ish on a Saturday so it was pretty full. We were seated at a table and the very charming waitress attended us immediately. I of course ordered a cup of coffee and a ham and egg sandwich. My granddaughter wanted the strawberry waffles. The food was prepared quickly considering the crowd and we proceeded to devour our breakfast. The breakfast sandwich was a big man size sandwich. None of this little kid size. It was delicious. The waffles were covered in strawberries and whipped cream. A six year olds dream come true. I had to help out of course. All in all a great experience in Fontana at Lucy's Dinner. Hit them up you'll be pleasantly surprised.

I had a breakfast burrito with home fries that were cooked and seasoned to perfection. My MIL has the lumberjack breakfast and raved about her bacon and hash browns. We were greeted at the door by a lovely young gentleman who allowed us to pick our table and joked with us as he guided us to it and passed out our menus. Our waitress was an absolute love and chatted with us as she bounced from table to table. It was busy but we still felt like we were well cared for and made to feel like regular customers! The restaurant itself was very clean and had a light atmosphere. The outdoor seating area was well kept and pretty full with customers by the time we left. There was plenty parking for customers were practically had the whole lot to ourselves. We walked in and realized immediately that the diner was 95% empty. Our food arrived and it was delicious I ordered the southern scramble biscuits with mild sausage, southern potatoes. The biscuits were so soft and tasty. My potatoes were perfect. Honestly I thought everything was really expensive but we never went back after inflation & there was a pretty big difference in their prices now. We liked the restaurant. it was clean & newer with fast service. Everything tasted good. My husband liked the chicken sausage but I felt like it needed more flavor. Didn't really care for the pancake, I've had better but the steak was good. The French toast was perfectly sweet & soft enough. Their portions were pretty big, we couldn't finish & had to bring some home.

The only reason I knew where to go was because I'd recently been here for a BBQ pop‑up in their parking lot. When I pulled in, the lot was completely full, but I managed to snag the last spot, which already told me something good was happening inside. The moment I walked in, the place gave classic homestyle diner vibes... small, cozy, and smelling like someone's grandma was in the back cooking with love. I was told to seat myself, and the staff checked in shortly after. The menu is huge, so it took me a minute to decide, but I went with a Denver omelette done "scramble style." No hesitation from the kitchen, they made it exactly how I asked. It came with home fries and a short stack of pancakes. My food arrived hot and fresh in about 10-15 minutes. One look and I understood why the parking lot was packed. The scramble smelled amazing and had that comforting warmth you only get from a true home‑cooked breakfast. The pancakes were fluffy, hot, and honestly way better than I expected. Everything tasted fresh and satisfying, the kind of meal that makes you slow down and enjoy your morning. I couldn't finish it all, so I took the leftovers home, and even reheated the next day, it still tasted pretty good. Between the friendly staff, the generous portions, and the very fair pricing, I think I've found my new go‑to breakfast spot. I definitely enjoyed my meal.

So we stopped in to try the fish and chips and one of had fish tacos.. The Fish and Chips weren't bad.. Probably the best I have had in a while..The fish was crisp and moist inside.. Pieces a bit on the small side, but were good. The fries were crisp and hot like the fish when arrived to the table.. The coleslaw was the only thing that was lacking flavor.. Fish and Chips a solid 3 out of 5.. There was confusion in the price and we had a menu that had a lower price then what it really was and we were told we pay the higher price as that menu was an old menu, that our server handed to us.. The fish taco plate was good, but they drenched the tacos in a white sauce that made the taco impossible to eat by holding them. Super Messy and had to eat with a fork.. Our Server wasn't very attentive and focused more on other tables that weren't in the room where we were seated by the emergency exit. So in all.. The food was good and I would probably return to try the food again.. The ambience and quality of service was a struggle..
