Another host at the desk called me by name, which he knew from my reservation, and sternly told me I shouldn't have hung up the phone because someone who called in just got disconnected. I explained to him what just happened, assuming he just hadn't seen it, but his irritation was unassuaged. I don't appreciate being treated so disrespectfully. I could sympathize with his concern for other patrons calling in, but he should recognize my intention. And realize their setup is bound to cause problems like this, especially when the entranceway is crowded. The food tasted good, but it would be better cooked with olive oil. That host needs some customer service training.
