You can park in the lot next to the building or drive around for street parking, either way you will need to pay. I'm not usually a person to go out of my way for a burger, but I think the ambiance of the place is great for if you want to show a friend a hidden spot in LA! Service is friendly and quick, we didn't wait too long before getting our order. I opted for the slim thick burger and fries which were classically delicious! I usually like my burger with lettuce or some type of veggie, but I was really surprised at how good the burger can be on its own! The sesame bun was my favorite part, it definitely helped tie all the flavors together nicely. Fries were also crisp to perfection and self-serve ketchup is available. Give this place a try if you want a hidden spot to impress your friends!

It has a small hole in the wall café type vibe to this place and the service is really friendly. I came specifically for the DH, which is the dry aged 10 oz patty. At $21 as of 6/2026, it's not a cheap burger, but you are getting a lot of burger and with high quality food ingredients. Just a really great burger and not one of those smashburgers either. These are thiiiicck. I've been wanting to come here for a very long time, but for whatever reason, I just haven't had a chance. I actually even went to their other location into Topanga a while back (which is no longer there along with lots of other places in that ill fated food court). I also saw that they recently made a list of one of the best burgers in the country/world. And while I feel those list are pretty subjective, I do think that this is one of the best burgers I personally have had.

We came to Farhod's on a Friday night when we visited this street which is full of halal food…read morecarts. I'd say around 80% of them are offering some sort of kabob, looking mostly to be from central Asian carts. We ended up picking Farhod's because it was the most crowded and we figured that might make our food the freshest. We were able to order on a tablet, which made things easier. All being on a sidewalk definitely makes things super crowded. It's a bit hard to find seating and it's kind of chaotic - power even shut down completely right after we ordered. They were able to get the power back on with the generator, but it took what felt like forever to get our food. Seems like they serve their food somewhat like a halal cart rather than a typical Persian restaurant - salad, white sauce, red sauce, etc. We got the steak kabob plate, koobideh sandwich, and beef wrap. We enjoyed pretty much every form factor. They grill their tortillas and bread on the grill before assembling, so everything has that charcoal taste top to bottom. Salad was surprisingly cold/crunchy for a stand that had been sitting in warm weather for hours. Steak on the plate was slightly chewy but tasted fresh and had great flavor. I recommend loading up on the white sauce, red sauce has good flavor too and isn't super spicy. Also liked the self service radishes, grilled jalapeños, and lemons. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal, aside from the long wait and some slightly questionable food handling practices. Prices are not as low as you'd expect for a street cart, but the food was good and portions were large.

It all comes together nicely and the taste is 9.5/10, delicious. The price is high - $30 for a rib eye wrap and $20ish for koobideh wrap. Food is made to order so expect to wait around a while and explore the neighboring stalls. Would come back, the food was delicious. Online ordering was not working when I tried, so had to go there to place the order and wait. The ambiance is unique - reminiscent of nights in Karachi where you sit out on the roadside and eat fresh food with the background scent of the barbeque blazing.
