They have giant al pastor spinning but most of the meats are already cooked in the metal tins. One potato per order now. The meats were tender with asada being my favorite here. Brisket is also good if you prefer a fattier meat. They have sauce station with different spices. Grilled onions, raw onions, and cilantro to your liking. Another booth sells drinks. I got the horchata and tasted pretty standard. Great place to take someone to try out LA tacos.

I'm picky, but Ave 26 delivers every single time. It's super affordable, open 24/7, and there's always plenty of parking, which is a huge win in LA. Plus, it's honestly one of the best spots in town for people-watching while you eat. Let's talk favorites. My absolute must-order is their al pastor burrito with everything. It comes loaded with tons of smoking hot, perfectly seasoned al pastor meat, melted cheese, and incredible flavor. To top it off, they have a solid lineup of tasty salsas and spicy condiments to customize every bite just how you like it. Whether you're wrapping up a late night out or looking for the perfect spot to celebrate after a Dodgers game, Ave 26 has got you covered. Get out there after the win and grab a burrito -- you'll thank me later.

I'm not usually a person to go out of my way for a burger, but I think the ambiance of the place is great for if you want to show a friend a hidden spot in LA! Service is friendly and quick, we didn't wait too long before getting our order. I opted for the slim thick burger and fries which were classically delicious! I usually like my burger with lettuce or some type of veggie, but I was really surprised at how good the burger can be on its own! The sesame bun was my favorite part, it definitely helped tie all the flavors together nicely. Fries were also crisp to perfection and self-serve ketchup is available. Give this place a try if you want a hidden spot to impress your friends!

I'd say around 80% of them are offering some sort of kabob, looking mostly to be from central Asian carts. We ended up picking Farhod's because it was the most crowded and we figured that might make our food the freshest. We were able to order on a tablet, which made things easier. All being on a sidewalk definitely makes things super crowded. It's a bit hard to find seating and it's kind of chaotic - power even shut down completely right after we ordered. They were able to get the power back on with the generator, but it took what felt like forever to get our food. Seems like they serve their food somewhat like a halal cart rather than a typical Persian restaurant - salad, white sauce, red sauce, etc. We got the steak kabob plate, koobideh sandwich, and beef wrap. We enjoyed pretty much every form factor. They grill their tortillas and bread on the grill before assembling, so everything has that charcoal taste top to bottom. Salad was surprisingly cold/crunchy for a stand that had been sitting in warm weather for hours. Steak on the plate was slightly chewy but tasted fresh and had great flavor. I recommend loading up on the white sauce, red sauce has good flavor too and isn't super spicy. Also liked the self service radishes, grilled jalapeños, and lemons. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal, aside from the long wait and some slightly questionable food handling practices. Prices are not as low as you'd expect for a street cart, but the food was good and portions were large.

It all comes together nicely and the taste is 9.5/10, delicious. The price is high - $30 for a rib eye wrap and $20ish for koobideh wrap. Food is made to order so expect to wait around a while and explore the neighboring stalls. Would come back, the food was delicious. Online ordering was not working when I tried, so had to go there to place the order and wait. The ambiance is unique - reminiscent of nights in Karachi where you sit out on the roadside and eat fresh food with the background scent of the barbeque blazing.

Her late night bacon wrapped hot dogs were unbelievably delicious and reminded me of an incredible moment in my life back in the 1980s. I had been on a party bender in Tijuana with my buddy Ned and was feeling a little weary. On my way back to the hotel, I heard a voice and saw a sign advertising a hot dog lady's delicious dogs. I decided to give it a try, and the first bite of that heavenly bacon wrapped hot dog completely changed my life and saved me from my weary state! The flavors were out of this world and are something I will never forget. Tasting the hot dog lady's late night bacon wrapped hot dogs in Echo Park brought me back to that moment decades ago. They were just as succulent and flavorful as I remembered, and I was glad to experience the same feelings of joie de vivre that I felt back then. The portion was huge so I definitely had leftovers. Papaya salad wasn't overly acidic and the dried shrimp elevated the flavor a lot, balancing out the sourness of the sauce. Pad see ew was also solid with a large portion.  The service was very quick and the waitress helped us decide between the popular dishes. The inside can seat more than several parties, big or small. Parking is in a small lot shared with a couple other businesses so prepare to find a spot deep in the street of the neighborhood. It was perfectly crispy and savory, and the sweet and sour sauce complimented it well. We also got the spicy beef noodles (be aware that it comes with a lot of liver so if you're not a fan of that, I would pass). This was probably my least favorite. My favorite was the roasted duck curry. Generous portions and duck were nicely seasoned. We also got the pork leg over rice. The pork MELTS in your mouth. I would happily come back!
