I heard of this place from a Danish TV show, a sort of franchise of UK's kitchen nightmare "Med Kniven for Struben". I decided to visit this place because we were on our way back from Møn to Copenhagen and we would pass by Køge anyway, and what's better to stuff our stomach with after a long afternoon walk at the cliff if not with classic Danish fares.
I ordered hakkebøf med bløde log, Anders A ordered biksemad and my boyfriend chose dagens ret or today's dish which was Krebinetter med grøntsager og smør sovs. My hakkebøf was served with fries on the side (my request) and the brown sauce on it was really good. All my eating companions were satisfied with their meal.
The bill came cheap at 109kr for mine and total was 415 kr including drinks (two 0.5L beer and one small beer). The today's dish was even cheaper at 89kr.
Great price and good service. Maybe I'll drop by again if I ever found myself in Køge read more
