I just ate there today ordered a double bacon burger combo with a orange float . The orange float was really good but the food was bad , the burger had no seasoning on it & my fries were really cold and soggy which is weird bc I was waiting for like 15 minutes I would imagine they would be hot & crispy . The portion size was really big for the amount paid , but since I only took a few bites before my stomach started to hurt it wasn't really worth it ... Well, got off work tonight and decided to purchase a quick meal. We ordered 2 double BACON cheeseburger combos and got pastrami that was cooked on the grill and passed off as bacon. Not happy about that at all. When I questioned about it, I was told that it was beef bacon.......I've had beef bacon and pastrami before and this was pastrami. Needless to say, but I'll say it, we won't be coming here again. The least they could have done was own up to the fact that it was pastrami. Ended up not even finishing the burger. read more

We went thru the drive thru and it was busy which we thought great, if its busy the food must be good. My daughter wanted a grilled cheese and when we got home the grilled cheese looked like two pieces of bread with cheese. It wasn't grilled at all. My husband's meat in his burger was cold. This was our first time here and we wont be back. Tried to call them to make a complaint and it went to answering machine. The French fries were good and hot. read more

Had a double bacon cheeseburger and it was great! Their fresh brewed iced tea is actually surprisingly great for a fast food place. We only waited about 10 minutes for our food if that. Burgers are huge, so only order the double if you're starving. It's a great little place to grab a good old fashioned burger and a milkshake. read more

Food was amazing fresh. I ordered the shrimp meal which was awesome. My sis order the fish basket which was mouth watery. The tartar sauce and ranch dressing was on point. Must stop. This reminds me of what Snow White used to be back in the day. If you are from Madera you know what I mean. Everything is made to order. I had the single bacon cheese burger combo with chilli cheese fries. Everything was good but the burger was a little dry so you should ask for extra sauce. The chilli cheese fries were good and I would definitely get them again. The selection is huge so everyone should be able to find something they like. The only bad thing is it's not very clean but not I can over look that since the food was great. I am will be coming back. read more

Probably the best burgers you can get here in Madera come from this place. When I first bit into the monster burger, I felt the juices of the tender meat burst in my mouth. I also like the variety that the restaurant offers you and the prices for what they sell. I know I'm getting what I paid for, if not more. :) Great place! read more

Went there for first time yesterday afternoon. Ordered, paid for my food and went home. Arrived home to find order was not complete. I called the store and was told to come in today (since I don't live in Madera) and I could get my money back. Went into store today they refused to return my money even though the other employee had left a message telling them I would be coming in. Needless to say I won't be going back. read more

Stopped by for the first time today, thought we would 'treat ourselves" being Sunday and all. Let me tell you something about this place. Every table, chair & floor area was disgustingly Filthy! Could not find a clean table in the joint, only one other couple was there at the time we arrived. Should have got the hint at that time. But we gave them the benefit of the doubt since the drive thru had two vehicles waiting and the two girls working the counters seemed busy... as a matter of fact they were soooo busy that they just ignored our request to wipe down a table for us or give my wife a damp towel to do it herself! We ordered two basic cheeseburger combo's and two frosty cones "To Go" of course we wouldn't think of sitting let alone eating in that filthy dining room. Since i had to wait for the order i decided to visit the men's room and wash my hands of the sticky ice cream left on a table i accidentally touched. Well that men's room was also disgusting, broken dispensers on the floor, smell of urine in the air, paper towels & toilet paper on the floor. I'm sorry but if this place gets periodic health inspections by the county it will be out of business just as fast as all the others.. Wake up ownership and get on your employees. Maybe some training will help? I don't know but first time and last time I'll be dining there. Oh yeah, The Printing on the signage that hasn't been replaced since opening this dirty bird was the highlight of our visit, made us laugh all the way out the door. Oh yeah by the way we took our dinner home and surprisingly it wasn't near as bad as the condition of this place. although the burger was the flattest burger i have ever had it did have somewhat of a Jr high school cafeteria taste... fries were plentiful & tasty. ice cream cones were good, Cheap cone but good ice cream. Totally awesome! My family and I live in NorCal. On our way back home we stopped by for dinner. What a find! I work for Union Pacific railroad and pass this place frequently on the tracks. I'd always wanted to try it, and we were beyond pleased. The hamburgers were juicy, hot, fresh and delicious. The fries hot and crispy. The chili cheese fries smothered! We had a lil accident in store, and they kindly replaced that portion of the order. The staff was friendly, the food out in a timely fashion. Prices were great and the ice cream yummy. The ambiance was shall we say...lackluster. I couldn't ignore the numerous spelling and grammar mistakes on their signs, and most of the tables seemed to be old and not in the best shape. The food took a little longer than I'd like to come out but that's not a big deal. Also, we had a total of 5 people at our table and they put all the food on one tray. So most of us had to eat off of the table. Now for the food: my husband and I are somewhat at odds about the quality/taste. My husband thought the food was decent, only that it lacked seasoning. He was happy overall. I however, thought the food was less than great. I got the turkey burger and added bacon. I thought the patty was decent, once again if lacking in seasoning. The bacon was disgusting. Too thickly sliced and had the texture of a blown out tire. The portions were fair and prices were great. Overall the food was decent, I'd say 3.5 stars. But the other aspects of the visit brought it down for me. I most likely wouldn't return unless they make the place a little nicer and seasoned the food. read more

OK so yesterday I went thru the drive thru of this place. First I literally sat in the drive thru for 35 minutes after ordering. While sitting there the girl at the window would not make eye contact with me, I'm guessing because she knew I was irritated for sitting there so long in 105 degree heat. Then we got the food and an item was missing, I pulled around front and went inside to ask for it. The girl at the counter with braces said yes it is in the bag I put it myself (with a ridiculous amount of attitude btw) I said are u kidding right now so I went outside got the big $40 order I just received she took one of the bags to the corner by the drive thru window picked up the item off the counter placed it in the bag and said see its on top, it WAS in there.... i said I did just see you do that it was not in the bag. Her and her little coworkers laughed. Needless to say I was pissed. I came home all of the food was cold and soggy and the ice in all of the sodas was melted, so I wrote a review on fb. To top it off one of the girls replied to my review arguing with me AGAIN telling me to look more thoroughly and told me not to exaggerate about how long they took. I will never be back to this place and neither will my friends and family....in a small town of Madera it looks like they'd try harder not to be rude little bitches. I was looking for something other than a regular fast food place. I saw Frosty Queen. I came through the drive through and I asked what kind of shake flavors they have. She rudely told me "they are on there" not even a location on the menu or anything. And I was like ok then strawberry. Then I went ahead and ordered cheese sticks. To my surprise they were 3$ so I assumed that it was a good amount. The wait was ok a bit slow. I got my shake in a tiny styrofoam cup that didn't seem like a medium without whipped cream or a cherry!! What a waste of money! Then I got the cheese sticks. They were cold and soggy as if they popped them in the microwave and worse of all it came with just 5 for 3 dollars!! They were also quite small..And to top that off they were gross!!! The girl at the window did offer some ranch and the sauce cup was filled 1/4 of the way so I immediately asked for a second one..The whole total came out to 7$ and something cents. I am DEFINITELY NEVER going back it was a waste of money and I even felt it was bad enough to get on this and write about it!! read more

So first time trying this place out and so far not off to a good start. We ordered the San Joaquin burger combo and a pastrami sandwich combo, when we get up to the drive thru and pay we are then informed they are out of pastrami and now need to order something else, so we say fine and order something else I order the number 8 avocado burger combo with bacon and cheese, and # 19 Philly cheese steak combo. So as I said we were charged already for the previous order after she rung us up for the new order we ended up having to pay a bit more instead of just comping us the difference all we got to sit on the drive thru for a good 10 mins before we got the food, the cherry on top of it when we got to the drive in I went to take a bite into my burger and they forgot the avocado. Other than the long wait the floor of the restraunt behind the counter was very messy from viewing in through the drive thru window, the food was decent at least. read more
