    Banana split!
    Becca D.

Such a cute fast food joint! I got the banana split, which was huge and yummy. My parents got burgers which they enjoyed, and my dad said they did not skimp on the malt in his chocolate malt, so he was extra pleased. The employees were friendly and we were able to sit with our dogs on the patio. Definitely a solid option when you need quick food!

I've only tried their ice cream and so far that's been a 10 out of 10 ! Drive-through does have a decent wait time but it's worth it

Best Frosty King in town hands down. It's a farther drive from home but always worth the trip.

We did order a banana split because I NEEDED one and it's not a good kind, it's the "all vanilla with different sauces" kind.

The California Burger - First Time Visit…read more First time trying The California Burger and ordered it for pickup. Right off the bat, the staff was friendly, the place was clean, and the prices are very fair, which already puts it in good standing. I ordered the California Burger, which comes loaded with avocado, onions, pickles, shredded lettuce, onion, 2 little half slices of bacon though, tomato, cheese, and their house sauce. Big plus that the avocado was fresh! and they didn't skimp on it (thank you ), and I really liked the shredded lettuce instead of the usual sad leaf situation. The sauce deserves a shoutout too! it's genuinely tasty and ties everything together nicely. Overall, the flavors were pretty good. Now for the honest part: the patty itself was a bit dry, which is kind of a big deal when it's the main event. That said, the generous amount of sauce definitely helped counteract the dryness. And honestly, when you're starving, there's a moment where you just say "whatever" and keep eating--and I did . It wasn't horrible by any means, just not quite on the level of a couple other burger spots I usually go to. The patties are on the thinner side, but that seems to be the norm at most casual burger joints these days. This feels like an easy fix though, cook the patties a little less and this burger would level up fast! Would I swear off this place forever? No. But if I know there's a better burger option open, that's probably where I'll go first. That said, if it's a Sunday, I'm craving a burger, and all my usual spots are closed... yeah, I'd consider coming back. Maybe. Solid spot, good flavors, and a little tweak away from being even better.

I rave about this place to everyone I know, and encourage my people to stop here if they're taking a road trip to Vegas or LA from the bay. I finally tried the milkshakes this time around. The banana was ok, the pineapple was better. I like that it's not hella artificial. I love that they use real fruit bits. I'm not a huge fan of crinkle cut fries usually, but I like theirs. Why? Because they actually fry the fries to a crisp and then they're well seasoned. Yum. Every time I've come through, the girls working have always been really nice. Customer service is on point. I usually hit the drive thru and then park to eat. It's definitely a good place to people watch.. but I keep my doors locked lol. There's always a lot of movement on the street...

Hands down, it's the best Western barbecue sandwich I've ever had. The flavors are bold and perfectly balanced, the smoky barbecue sauce, melty cheese, and crispy onion rings come together in a way that just works. Every bite is rich, satisfying, and packed with that classic Western-style punch. The seasoned fries deserve their own shoutout too, crispy on the outside, fluffy on the inside, and seasoned just right. They're the perfect side to an already knockout burger. If you're craving a true Western-style burger that delivers on flavor and quality, Shakes n Buns absolutely nails it. I'd go back for this sandwich alone without hesitation.

When we walked in we were greeted right away and told to sit wherever we wanted. It was pretty empty but got busier as lunch went on. About 8 minutes after we sat down, Karina (our waitress) came over. She was very friendly and brought us some rosemary lemon waters and a complimentary appetizer of butter-toasted sourdough with an onion garlic spread. I enjoyed it a lot and it was definitely a nice little touch. For the first 10 minutes though we were wondering where the menus were until we realized you have to scan the QR code on the little card that sits on the table to look at the menu! Ha, It would've been nice to have that mentioned when we sat down, but once we figured it out, it was easy. The place is pretty chill. Good verity of music playing. Atmosphere felt lively, lots of chatter as background noise, large windows that let in a lot of natural sun light so it feels open and inviting. They also brought out a free sample of their strawberry fresca, which was super fresh and refreshing. Not too sour nor sweet. We both ordered the Western burger with onion rings and sweet potato fries. Also had to get me one of those fresca's and my hubby got a coke. 25 minutes later our food arrived, and man did it look phenomenal! The burgers are stacked high, patties were thick, juicy and cheesy. The buns all glistening, and it was super saucy, just beautiful and well presented. Lol. Fries and onion rings come in cute little baskets and pots too. The beef tasted so clean and buttery! Completely melt-in-your-mouth awesomeness. Very gourmet and high quality. The bacon was perfectly cooked with very little fat and had such a rich, clean flavor and was just really done well. Quality top notch for sure. The onion rings were unlike any I've had before. They weren't super crispy, more soft and tender, but the flavor was so good it didn't even matter. They were huge and the batter was savory and seasoned well. The texture kind of reminded me of a funnel cake, soft with a little crisp.. very different from your typical onion ring. Their chipotle aioli ranch paired perfectly with them too. (My left over onion rings reheated to crispy perfection in the air fryer the next day!) The sweet potato fries were also really good and had sauce drizzled over the top. My husband mentioned it would've been nice to have some extra sauce on the side for dipping, though. Paid about 68 in total with tip. Not bad. Overall, we really enjoyed everything and are looking forward to coming back.

Service great and friendly. Food is very tasty the chicken moist and had lots flavor. This is not a budget $$$$ friendly place. I spent over $45 on a sandwich & salad. Salad + extra chicken cost an additional $3 & it was not a half chicken serving very disappointing. For price salad I thought was going to a big portion since over $15+ salad. Overall food is good just expensive and small portions.
