I went to Yogurt Mama for the first time yesterday with my sister, and it was very clean, there was an assortment of flavors, and tons of toppings. When my sister weighed in our cups of yogurt, the combined total was over $15!!! holy shit! My sister made a joke to the cashier about being a "fatty" and the cashier had an amused look of agreement on her face! *note, my sis not a fatty. anyway, whenever we go to Yumi Yogurt in San Mateo, the total is usually less than $10 for even larger servings!!! So I DO think it is a bit pricy, that's why it's getting only 4 stars, but since I am here and Yumi Yogurt is far away, this will be just perfect! read more

Happy to find a great yogurt spot on this side of the island! They have lots of yogurt flavors, and many different toppings to choose from. There's lots of seating inside. It's pretty big and has large windows so you can people creep. The owners are so nice and gave us a free sample of lychee. Will definitely go back! read more

One word: YUM! This yogurt mama sure knows how to please my palate. Seriously, they have the most amazing flavors (my fave is the fat free cake batter :D) and a copious amount of toppings available at all times. They even offer little tasters of the flavors so you know what you are getting. The girls working (and no, I have never seen any males working - I guess it is because it is called Yogurt "Mama") are always very sweet, efficient and helpful. I love the decor and seating arrangements and the televisions provided for your entertainment as well. It does get a bit chilly sometimes so if you are sensitive to that kind of thing, you might want to bring a jacket. SOOOO much better than coldstone!! I have always been a huge fan of coldstone until my neighbor told me about this place!!! It is always clean and they always have the add on fully stocked! Ok so plus side is I absolutely love this place because it's my kids favorite spot! We come here atleast once every few weeks! The yogurt is great and so are the toppings! THE ONLY THING, make sure you let them know you're using their bathroom! Why you may ask? Because they have a single bathroom that needs key access, so they have a cup with a key on it for you to use on the door. What I didn't know is that they have a second key their employees use and I LITERALLY GOT WALKED IN ON by an employee while I was ON THE TOILET!!! How embarrassing!!!! Before migrating from San Diego, I had become very fond of the Tutti Frutti that was a block from my apartment there, so how stoked was I when some friends introduced me to this little gem right inside Kailua!!! I absolutely love this place! Ever since it opened while I was still in high school its been a favorite place of mine to go get frozen yogurt. The staff is always nice &friendly. They always have cake batter which is my favorite so I really like that! The interior is really nice too, the coloring is nice &I like the stools they have in there. My favorite drink is their boba tea tea!! I always get the lilikoi one. There was one incident though that I had, I was in the other day &the cashier, wasnt friendly at all, she seemed like she really hated her job. She barely cracked a smile &spoke in a very monotone voice. I was baffled at this costumer service cause this was the only time I have experienced this at Yogurt Mama. Feeling a bit annoyed I called after I left to make a complaint. I talked to Shannon & im guessing she was the supervisor on duty. She was very kind &apologetic at the service I received. When speaking with her I felt like she was genuinely sorry &kind so I trust her words when she said that I wouldn't experience that again. We heard about this place from a friend and decided to make the drive over one day to check it out. Parking was a bit tough because it's on a main street, but not too bad. It was pretty empty when we were there and the employees were pretty friendly. We got samples of a couple different flavors and chose the mango and another flavor that i cant remember right now. The toppings bar had a lot to choose from, but I like my froyo simple with few toppings! Had some of the mochi ones, which were super soft and the thing that put it over the top were these round popper ballz that had a flavored liquid inside! I'm not a yogurt freak so I'm not up to date with the latest, but I've never seen these things before! It was kinda trippy at first, but then you kinda want more! I visited this establishment when I was visiting the island this past Thursday morning June 18th. With the 2 week quarantine finally being over, I was happy to be out sightseeing. I was promptly greeted by a very friendly woman behind the counter. She was busy filling toppings but made sure to even ask how my day was going. The place smelled clean and the floor had just been mopped as there was a wet floor sign out. I told the woman that I was a visitor and she immediately welcomed me and gave me a "tour" of the place. She was very professional and knowledgeable and I felt very comfortable talking with her. The FroYo was tasty and the toppings were full and fresh. There were so many choices. So the brownie bites and also chewy cookie bite are a win for me. Pineapple froyo doesn't sound like it would go with those toppings but yummmmmmmooooo I love it! I like that they have gloves to put on before you make your own yogurt. It tasted sweeter than other places, too sweet for me. Everything seemed clean til the employee placed my spoons on the dirty counter right in front of me. The employee accidentally knocked down my yogurt and was very apologetic and I made myself another one. She had already rang me up and it was pretty expensive so I made my second container with less yogurt but she didn't weigh my second yogurt, she just kept the price the same. I asked the cashier if she was going to weigh my new container of yogurt but she said: "No, it's okay, I gave you a discount." read more

This place is really cute. But don't let that fool you. The design is a bit corky with its multi color paint splatter that covers the wall and furnature. In the back is a small play section so children can play and read while parents and friends share a relaxing conversation at the community bar or on the fluffy couches. For those with a bit more work to do there is wifi so you can stay connected or finish that last bit of homework before the next school or work 3day. Now for the reason we are all here. Coming from Colorado, we are no stranger to the yogurt scene. We couldnt wait to sink out teeth and tongue into that creamy goodness. Unfortunately, that was not what we got. Though there is a huge selection of toppings, the yogurt selection was limited to basic flavors that were watered down versions of iced milk. It was very disappointing at best. Either the kids working behind the scene didn't know how to do the mixture or they were taught to add more ice and water to stretch the mix as far as possible without serving ice water. Either way we were eating water flavored milk or whatever that was. Fortunately, as i mentioned there was a large selection of toppings to save the day. The cocoa puffs took me back to my days in grade school, which was a nice treat. Last was the end of the line where the cost was outrageous. The option was to sell a kidney to pay for it, or run out the door without paying. Thank goodness they had a kidney broker on site to cover the cost. The scar is healing fine and the one kidney is keeping me alive. Sadly, we will not return. The cost was $25.00 for a pint and a half of iced milk with a few cocoa puffs, gummies, and squirty balls. We were so impressed with this place!It was open during the covid 19 and had hand sanitizer and gloves!There was water with infused pineapple and more choices of toppings than any other place we have ever been too! There was also an array of flavors and the option of using a departed to have more than one flavor of ice cream in a cup. So, I basically had two different types of small sundaes all in one!
