I waited almost 30-45 minutes for someone to even look at me to help me. When I did ask for help, they always walked away. Finally, a guy comes around and helps me. Right as I go to the counter, there is a woman working there as well. And she kept giving me dirty looks. I wasnt even doing anything. I wanted to make my purchase and leave. She keeps staring at me from the corner of her eye and my friend even said something about it to me before I even said anything about it. It was weird and I could feel her negative energy towards me. Right as Im about done with my paper work, the guy who was helping was walking towards me and the woman stopped him and said "No, I will take care of it". She had such a big ATTITUDE. For no reason! She had no problem helping all these other people but when it came to me, I dont want to have to pull the race card, but when it came to other people, she had a smile on her face, was polite, and it was obvious she didnt want to help me or I feel like she didnt even want me there. Then she was giving me grief and attitude and my friend and I just told her "Never mind". Then she slammed the laptop shut, rolled her eyes, and walked away. Very Proffesional. As we left, my friend said "she didnt want to help you because of the color of you're skin." And I looked back, I was the only one who had a darker Complexion. Wont be coming here again. read more

My son was so excited to come to this new store/archery range, so a 45 minute drive later we arrived. The store itself is an good layout and design. Clean and comfortable. The prices seemed reasonable and pretty comparable to other stores. Unfortunately, we will not be back. We walked in and two associates (one male, one female) were standing directly in front of us/looking at us. Not a "Hello, welcome in" or even a welcoming smile. While in the archery section for at least 10 minutes, at least 3 male associates walked by without even an acknowledging head nod. That makes 5 associates. When we walked out, the same male associate was standing at the door...no goodbye/acknowledgement there either. While I would've liked to have given my business to this store, I will take my son elsewhere for archery equipment. I will also take my son elsewhere for archery training. With a Bass Pro just down the road, and a Scheel's within the same driving time, we'll go where the associates know customer service. Yes, the store was busy, but that is no excuse for not even acknowledging customers (male, female, young, old) who would spend money in your store. When you depend on your customer to keep your business going, CUSTOMER SERVICE IS EVERYTHING. What a letdown. read more

Very nice gun range but the employees on the store side are absent minded at best and entirely oblivious at worst. We came to shoot the other day and afterwards decided to look at some pistols (one of which my friend was very serious about purchasing), one employee walked past us three times while another behind the counter actively ignored us. This is not the first time I've had this experience. I like their range and will continue to use it but the employees definitely need an adjustment in order to not lose sales. read more

The gun range is really great and needed on this side of the city. That is about all I can say good about this place. The staff isn't overly friendly and sometimes outright rude. Don't plan on going here to complete an FFL transfer. The staff on the sales floor doesn't seem to be overly knowledgeable about the guns they are selling. Some of the prices are decent prices but others are way over priced so be careful when buying here, make sure to shop around before going here to buy. read more

I'm a Kansas resident and was directed out here by a coworker. Big, clean place, the layout was visually appealing and not overwhelming. The staff was excellent; they treated my mother and I wonderfully, made me feel extremely comfortable buying from them. Since it was my first purchase I want to aware that handguns had to be purchased in your own state, but because of the deal I got on the gun, they worked with me in making the purchase & transfer seamless. This is a beautiful new addition to the LS area. Full service gun range (and sales), bow lane, apparel shop and cafe. The interior is styled really well and it's obvious some serious money was invested in the place. Tried the cafe - drink was okay. I wouldn't go out of my way to frequent this cafe by any means. The bow range is awesome - we purchased an intro class for my 8 year old. 1 hour in the classroom and 1 hour on the range (reasonable prices). He loved it. We will be back! read more

My review is for the Kansas City location at Legend's in Kansas City, Kansas... As a retired police officer from Tennessee now a Missouri resident who attended this course with my wife, I can state with full confidence that the training provided by John and Brian was very professional. The class was very informative with real life "do's and don'ts", ample class participation, and detailed personalized instruction in the classroom and on the gun range by two instructors with extensive backgrounds in law enforcement. John and Brian's backgrounds and "real world" expectations in instruction assure the understanding of the laws and responsibilities facing concealed carry permit holders being communicated to class participants. When you leave this class...you leave armed with knowledge...not just a handgun. And THAT is what makes the difference between living or dying, or being arrested, criminally charged, or sued. I would definitely recommend this class to anyone wanting to conceal carry. read more

I purchased my first pistol from frontier Justice is Lee's summit mo on 1/25/19 for 621 dollars.When purchasing the the the firearm the staff was nice and what I thought was helpful at the time. I asked the staff member if it ever had any problems jamming and he assured me no. Well he was wrong. It jammed and misfired from day one. So I called them later thinking it needed to be shot to be broke in and also the answer they gave me. The second time I shot it the same problem. The third time I bought a heavier round which I was told was the trick it misfired or light hammer strike they say 11 times and jammed 6 times in 100 rounds . So this is when the real company comes out . Today is 2/18/19 I'll call it 3 weeks of owning the pistol . And it's my fault you sold me this piece of blank. So I thought they would make it right by letting me exchange it for a different pistol . And they say sore credit I was like cool then he told me 350 dollars and I will not post what I said. That place is a joke and doesn't stand by there name. I wouldn't buy a snickers bar from that place or recommend anyone go there again. read more

Your first impression is I hope I brought enough money but there firearms prices are extremely competitive and fair. I don't know about the range and ammo cost is have access to my own range. I took my daughter there 2 weeks ago to teach her how to shoot. I knew the range officers are very good and she would be comfortable walking in and seeing purses and other western wear. Justin gave her a few pointers and helped us determine she was a right handed person but shoots best left handed. I took my son last weekend and they were again very helpful. I had an issue with one pistol and their gunsmith resolved it quickly. My daughter even came to meet us with ammunition because she wanted to shoot. What a win! Both young adults now understand and enjoy shooting. Thanks again for helping me and my family. P.S. There are other spots I could go to near my home, but its worth the 25 miles one way due to that kind of great service. read more

Good facility. Staff are as dumb as the bullets they are selling. Gives you wrong range lane every time. Forgets everything. I would assume workers are stoned all the time. Not good for a gun range. I am an annual member and I am looking to switch. Pathetically dumb there. read more

The staff of Frontier Justice needs to go through a class on customer service. They are not helpful, they act as though your money is not good enough to take and the wait to complete any type of transaction is ridiculous. If you want to buy something make sure you block out half a day. A waste of time and money. There are plenty of businesses in the area that will gladly serve you. read more

I live in South KC now but lived in Lees Summit for 30 years. Decided to try this store out. Store has a good selection of guns although from what I could see the new hand guns seemed to be priced about 25% more than other stores I had visited in the Kansas City area. I was there to trade in 2 hand guns to buy another hand gun. One was an almost new Beretta 9mm PX4 Storm 2 tone and the other an older 38 revolver. They had a used Beretta the same as mine in the case and offered me $245 less than they were asking for the one in the case. Mine came with all the extras including the extra grips, lock 2 clips and original box. My gun had only one clip fired through it and I decided I wanted a 357 revolver instead. They did not want the 38 at all. I understand the 38 because it was old, but offering me $325 for my gun that they were going to turn around and sell for $570+ is just ridiculous. I believe a business owner deserves to make a profit but trying to get such a high profit off an unsuspecting customer is just bad business. This store says they take trade ins but obviously only a tactic to get you in the store or they would not try to rob people. The same day I went to a gun store that I will not name in Raytown, Missouri and they took the Beretta in trade for $525 and I ended up with the revolver I wanted and paid under $20 in difference. If you don't have time to drive around and double check prices at other stores in the Kansas City area and don't care about money then this place would be for you. I found them on the verge of rude before I even found out what they were going to offer me. These people think it is your good fortune to be in their prescence. Good luck with that. read more

Hmm, not too sure about this place. , they pride themselves on their Christianity and "Family Values"..absolutely nothing wrong with that; however not too sure I would make it part of my business plan. Not all of us in to firearms are part of the far right. Personally I'm a Reagan type Republican. I'm mentioning all of this as I was sensing a bit of snobbery and elitism. It's almost like the employees were "summing you up' to see if you were worthy of their assistance. I was definitely sensing a bit of condescension. We'll see how they mature but at the moment not planning on returning but will keep up with the "street talk" and see if anything changes. They have a very clean environment in both the range and the store and the staff have always been friendly, albeit at times very slow to get through a line for the range. I've only ever shot at crossfire and they are cheaper if you only shoot for an hour but at Frontier you can shoot all day for one fee so it is nice to not watch the clock so 15 mins doesn't cost you another charge. Their prices for guns seem to be pretty high but the manager did match a price and got a sale from my brother in law because of that. As someone that is non religious I don't appreciate the fact that they market with their religious leanings and on some level that makes me feel less welcomed there but I guess for some strange and ironic reason guns and religions seem to go hand in hand so I suppose that is to be expected on some level. If their prices were cheaper and they left their religious marketing at church I would easily give them five stars. read more

The place itself is nice, they need to get rid of some of their customer care agents specially the one of them that oversees customers when shooting. Been here a few times and he seems always anger, never acknowledged us but at one point wanted to accuse us of using the wrong ammo, even after we said and showed him what we had. Let me also add we are African American and there were other people in the (causation) not once did he ask them if the shells he picked were theirs. Furthermore there were people there before us...perhaps idiot they were the folks before us. Reported him to an associate behind the counter where you sign in and he was as much an ASS as the other. There are so really nice associates that work their but these two here are going to run this business down and customers off. One bad apple (in this case two) will spoil the whole bunch....get rid of them ASAP!!!! I will be speaking on this incident to everyone I know....Labor Day 2016 read more

Pricey, Not friendly. I purchased several guns from them but no more. Sometimes they charged me $12 to shoot, lately it's been $15. I am a disabled vet so I thought they would give me a little break. Guess not. They denied ever only charging me $12. Today I told them that their prices are outrageous. They acted like they didn't even here me, Told them I bought several guns from them, they didn't say thanks for your business or anything. They did give me a $1.50 discount for being a veteran. wow. Told them I would not be back, to buy anything or shoot. They didn't care. Poor customer service. And this unprofessionalism was from one of the managers as well as another employee. If you have tons of money, this is the place for you. Us lowly peons can't afford it. Just like every other hobby that's fun to do, some one has to be greedy. They told me that it is posted on their website that Tuesdays are discount days for veterans and senior citizens. I have yet to find that info on their website. Even so, maybe Tuesdays are not good days for SOME people, some people can't get off that day just to go shoot. I can, as I am unable to work, but I did not know about the "discount" day. None the less, their customer service leaves much to be desired. If you are well off, enjoy! Us lowly peons will look for a friendlier, less pricey place. Adios read more
