Head over to the counter and rent a lane. Provide your ID. Get setup with safety glasses (unless you wear glasses), ear muffs, your own weapon & ammunition and pick your target. We were set. We received some assistance from a safety assistant and had a pretty good practice session. Frontier has plenty of supplies, clothing for sale, refreshments and very helpful personnel. read more

I have been shopping around for the Glock 19 gen 6, called FJ, you were out, but were getting some in the next day, price $600 on phone, best price found. Came in next day bought gun $621, questioned disinterested salesperson, he just stated that is the cost, no back and forth after that. You had many staff standing around, but I personally felt alone in the store. I can understand if you were busy, but there may have been 2 other people. A greeting may have been nice, and maybe a smile. Bass Pro had same gun at $620, but I always wanted to visit your store, looked wonderful inside, but left without any additional accessories, was not asked if I needed a CC holster, or anything additional. I am going back out tomorrow to find a hand gun for my daughter, she is coming with me. I am sorry but, we will not be stopping by. I saw your business, and it is not a comfortable place for me. I haven't shot a gun in probably 11years, and I was very happy with my private class/fitting I had here. The instructor (a woman) was very hands on without being overwhelming, the space is clean and well organized and stocked. The staff were professional and very helpful. I paid a little over 100$ for the class and I was able to shoot my own gun, and try out a few others to see what my preference was. I learned about ammo, hand guns themselves and the different types, I was able to use their bullets, eye protection and ear protection within my class, and get one on one instruction in the range area which was separate from the free shooting range. It made me feel very comfortable and safe and like I was being talked with and not talked at. It was my second time at Frontier Justice and I ended up spending most of my week of late October here just either slinging lead downrange with my off duty weapon. The indoor ranges inside are very nice, and there is less foot traffic compared to the KC location. The most memorable experience I've had was in the Simulator Room with John (Instructor) and select friends, and his advice and critique on the outcomes of our force-on-force scenarios with the Milo Range. From that foundation, we discovered each person's mindset when it came to threats. I found the majority of FJ employees respectful (like Julie and Kennadie) with the exception of the young (possibly new hire). Skinny kid with glasses with the SERPA holster told us that if me and my party that if we drew weapons, "I will drop you". That incident occurred on 10/10/20 at approx 1000 hrs. That issue was handled shortly later that day. In summary, I enjoyed my time training at this FJ location and would likely come back when time permits. I do feel sorry for the RSOs as the evenings bring in some interesting customers using their lanes. read more

Was there after an email invitation to try a new pistol... ended up leaving after 45 minutes of the worst customer service. This is my second visit and second experience with staff that are just too cool to care. As a "non-member" forget about any acknowledgment or help from the staff. Ended up waiting patiently for 30 minutes while all "members" were acknowledged and served. When finally called to the desk was told to fill out paperwork for the trial only to return to the desk and be told by the same clerk that he just gave the trial pistol out to someone else! After years of being around shooting ranges and gun shops, all I can say is that terrible treatment of customers does not equal safety, it only equals terrible service. read more

The ranges are always great, and the boutique is cute but what I'm really giving 5 stars is the CCW course. Bob made us feel really comfortable and was obviously knowledgeable but didn't make you feel dumb for not holding the same knowledge. If you had to spend an 8 hour course with someone I'd say he's a cool guy to do that with. It was a much more relaxed class than we (priory military) were expecting but honestly that was a breath of fresh air. I'd absolutely recommend doing your CCW class with him! read more

Honestly I've notice every time I go in to use the range things are usually ok. But afterwards or even some times before I shoot I will look around and browse the firearms for sale. It has happened so many times that now I do the same thing just to see if things will be consistent. They are, I've never been asked if I need help or if I need anything. I will give you the benefit of the doubt and say you didn't hear your employee (who was off putting from the start) ask if she knew the difference between firearms and ammo and accessories. If ever a place fully earned their 5 stars, it is this one. You can tell the owners care deeply about making this an enjoyable place to be and the variety and quality of merchandise was amazing. Oh, and WONDERFUL bathrooms. (I know, I know, but it's the little things that really impress!) Boutique style clothing was a surprise I didn't expect. You enter through the women's clothing section and immediately notice the fragrance of candles and the sparkle of cute mostly western-themed jewelry. Huge selection of women's clothing, and some nice boots too. Past the purses (conceal and carry of course) and the stacks of yeti coolers and survival gear you'll wander into the men's clothing section. An interesting mix of rugged, outdoors-y and functional high-quality pants, shirts, and trucker hats. There's rows of holsters and a section devoted to ammo and firearms. You can take advantage of classes and the firing range. They do a marvelous job with special events too... which is why I came. The group I was a part of came to run through target practice and real world scenarios in their simulator room using laser guns instead of live ammo. It was awesome. The staff. The set-up. Frontier justice, isn't your ordinary gun range. Not in the least. Boasting a large, multi format business, including clothing store, cafe, as well as a gun shop and shooting range. You could easily spend a day here shopping for clothes, guns and having a bite to eat in a nice and clean setting. This was the first time my wife and I have visited FJ. Out of the blue she expressed an interest in learning to shoot. And FJ was the closest range to us. Having never been she didn't know what to expect and was naturally a bit nervous. The staff at FJ could not be friendlier or more understanding to new shooters. They explained everything required for us to shoot at the range. Including the process of signing a waiver and watching a short safety video. Then the folks at the rental desk explained how much fun rentals were, how the rental system works, and also had everything one needs to hit the range including ear and eye protection. We rented the .22 caliber as it was her first time shooting and she was nervous about the sound and recoil and all the fears someone whose never shot a gun has. The .22 is the easiest for her to break herself in with. The rental system works by caliber, not by pistol. So when you choose to rent a pistol in a specific caliber, .22, .380, or 9mm you get to try all the pistols available to rent in that caliber. Which is great so you can see how different pistols handle and feel in your hands and while shooting. Ammo for the pistol was also available. We chose the 100 round option. We were explained all the instructions for safe handling of the pistol going in and out of the range and they also informed us who the range officer was and that he would be there shortly to help us get oriented and answer any questions. Now, to the range officer, Tom. Tom is an extremely friendly and knowledgeable gentlemen who went way above and beyond in setting my wife at ease by explaining everything a new shooter should know. How to grip the pistol, how to load the magazine and insert and remove it from the pistol, how to work the paper targets and set how far they go out from your lane, proper stance, everything. You couldn't get a nicer and more experienced gentlemen to assist you if you paid for it. And he was included with the range free! :) Tom gave advice and encouragement to her during our time shooting and really made my wife feel comfortable. Tom deserves a raise, he is truly a world class gentlemen, knowledgeable, and super friendly. I hope FJ never has to see him depart their ranks. Tom, thank you for a very wonderful, relaxed, and safe experience! We were bummed when 8 rolled around and we had to go but we will be back, thanks in no small part to you! :) FJ is a wonderful place for date night, brushing up on your firearm proficiency, they teach a multitude of valuable classes which we also plan to attend as well, doing a little shopping, and/or grabbing a bite to eat. If you are new, and want to give shooting a shot but are nervous or shy, trust me when I say FJ will do everything possible to make your first experience as easy as possible, you just have to walk through the doors. Even though I had grown up around guns, I never really messed with them. With a little nudge from my son I decided to learn how to shoot a gun, but only in a safe environment. Frontier Justice provided that for me. Every employee I came in to contact with was friendly and knowledgeable. Every question I had was answered with such patience. I didn't know what to really expect but I was impressed by the amount of time they take with you and the safety measures in place to even allow a person to get into the back to shoot a gun. Once in the back I started to feel a little nervous. Even though I had protective eye and ear-ware... I now had to shoot. An employee must have seen my hands shaking and took it upon himself to come over and talk. He was so patient and I'll forever be grateful to him. Not only did he show me the basics of how to stand, how to hold the gun, and how to aim... he gave me confidence. Not once did he make me feel silly for being so inexperienced. After a couple of shots the shaking went away and I hit the target nearly every time. As far as the facility goes, it is clean and the floor plan is easy to navigate. I could have spent an hour in just the front. Immediately upon entering through the doors, there's a country western style boutique! There's also a seating area. One of the things I could barely keep my eyes off of was an art piece. A horse made of spent CO2 cartridges that had been used by shooters. That alone is worth the stop. The horse is beautifully made and belongs on a roadside attraction list. Not only will I return, but I plan on signing up for a membership. DO NOT FFL TRANSFER TO THIS LOCATION. they only have the guy on site for like 1 day a week. multiple gun purchases only reason i shipped to this store was so i could just go into the gun range right after to try out new gun. walked in 2nd day after arrival of gun to store. and was told 2 different stories. one the FBI hasn't cleared the gun. My wife bought me a lifetime membership for a Christmas gift and I make use of it as often as I can. I was in there yesterday and just could not walk away without buying a Springfield 1911 6" barrel in 10MM, will probably go back today and have some fun with it. Not your typical gun store, you walk in the door and to the left is clothing for both men and women. I'm not talking Cabelas or Bass Pro clothes, I'm talking about actual cute clothes. There's a gun range with windows to see into, an archery range, and lots of guns and knives, flashlights, and magazines. There is a small amount of ammo as well. The prices are a little high, but cool place that you could bring a big group. There is a spot that serves food as well. Glad to see the also have low cost range ammo and always have sales guys that know the inside scoop on limit edition models coming out (well at least for Springfield products). One of the old man that works in the firing range inappropriately touched me and forcibly grabbed my hands without asking consent to touch me, took my gun & ripped my clip out completely destroying it and spring/parts flew out INTO the range (interrupting everyone & we had to step by while he attempted to fix & fine things), Then when I tried calling to report this & get reimbursed because he broke my clip; NO HELP.
