This store is very welcoming and tolerant of new shooters and goes the distance to educate them. I highly recommend them.

In my opinion this is the best gun store in the entire Kansas City area. I've been to a lot of them but this owner was very knowledgeable friendly and helpful with my purchase. he has a great selection of knives, guns and he is extremely knowledgeable. They charged me $80 to ship a gun to the manufacturer when they knew I could ship it for free with the shipping label the manufacturer supplied. I know all retailers need to make a profit, but they need to be honest in their dealings with the public. No, I will never enter their store again, and will recommend that every person avoids that store. read more

My husband and I love to buy local, and have purchased from them in the past. They must have changed owners, because service was subpar. We weren't greeted when we walked in, and he was chatting with someone for the first few minutes we were in the store. He acted like he was doing us a favor by selling items to us. I had a great experience with my husband at gunners. They are a very friendly staff and offered lots of knowledgeable advice. I didn't feel pressured at all and we got a great deal on our purchase. They really know a lot, so if you just have any questions about any kind of shooting or ammo, they would be more than happy to assist. There were a few special breeds of people that popped in to look at things that they probably shouldn't have been, but the staff is very friendly and careful on who they sell to. Friendly place to buy a gun. I've purchased several firearms from this place, I've looked at guns at other shops and then always come back here to have them order it if it isn't there. I don't except a real gun shop to keep everything in stock with so many options out there but they get it fast for me every time. We love Gunner's! It's the only place we go to for our firearm needs. The guys down there are extremely friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable about their stuff. And what they don't know, they will figure out for you. Brian, a handsome young man, figured out how to install a rail for us today that had us completely stumped. I said "let's take it to Gunner's, they'll figure it out", and sure enough, he did. Brian, Zach, and the rest of the staff are always refreshingly honest people to do business with. They don't try and talk you into something that isn't right for you. I can ask them a stupid question and get an answer without being made to feel like I just asked a stupid question. Their stock is always changing so there are constantly new options to choose from. You can buy new or used; and you can take your own weapons in to sell, trade, or put on consignment. Wow, shocking to hear about someone complaining about there selection . I have been on back order for over a year for a kel tek ksg and seen them selling at gun shows for $1200-$1400. Gunners posted theirs for $999 so I jumped on it. They also have the kel tek rfb .These are extremely hard to find. They did not jack up magazine and weapon prices after sandy hook and limited ammo purchases as a service so everyone could have some. These guys know their products and are in a business where a lot of lookers like to handle many items I've never seen them loose patience with a looker. Keep up the good work and thanks. read more
