Have had Frontier since it took over GTE long time ago!! Lucky I never had any serious issues

AVOID AT ALL COST! Do not even consider Frontier as an option. You will regret it. They schedule four hour windows of service and reschedule with no regard to the customer. We were planning to switch from Spectrum and scheduled installation between 8am-12pm Tuesday. The technician showed up and said "my ladder won't reach the box, I'll be back 1-5pm tomorrow." Took more time off work, then received a text stating our new scheduled service was the following Tuesday 8am-12pm. That was enough. Trying to cancel was nearly impossible as they claimed "the technician was already en route." Awful company. Terrible field techs. DO NOT USE FRONTIER. read more

Anyone thinking about switching to Frontier (by Verizon)? Do yourself a favor and don't. We switched to Frontier (by Verizon). What's mess. Worked for several months. Then out of the blue, zero services - no Internet (we have jobs and kids who need access for school) and since TV came over the line, none of that either. Every morning, noon and evening I'd get a text saying restoration of service by X (i.e. 4pm the same day). After a day or two that showed itself to be a straight lie. No human to talk to on the phone, either. This baiting fraud went on for two weeks until we switched back to Spectrum. They owed me $7.01 per their recurring bill and kept it for months and months instead of just sending me a check. Eventually they sent a prepaid MasterCard I never requested containing my $7.01 which, if I activated, screwed me over with annual fees, etc. I finally got in touch with someone in the Philippines who said they'd send me a check; haven't gotten it yet - been about a week. Frontier is about the worst company with which i've had the displeasure of doing business. Shady and unfair business practices at every turn, in my view. Stay always unless you're a masochistic glutton for punishment. Consider yourself warned. read more

Frustrating and unreliable customer service I'm a small business owner with Frontier Business, and my experience with their customer service has been extremely frustrating. When I call about a billing concern, the company line hangs up on me. I've been disconnected five times trying to resolve one issue. The only way I've found to reach a live person is through the collections department, even though I have no reason to speak with collections. When collections transfers me to the right department, the call either drops and I have to start over, or the representative can't give me any information about my billing. I lowered my services to cut my monthly cost, yet I was still charged far more than expected, and I can't get anyone to fix it. A business owner shouldn't have to fight this hard just to talk to someone about their own account. I'm now looking for another provider. Frontier has loose, dangling, hazardous lines hanging from a Anaheim Power pole and I had 2 employees lie to me that Frontier doesn't service Anaheim, so I call the sales department at Frontier and the salesman tells me that they do service this zip code. Now I'm on hold to talk to a supervisor about this dangerous situation. read more

Frontier lures the customer in with promos and rewards. It is a gimmick. It has been 4 months and 5 phone calls and still no reward card. Do not be fooled. read more

Outage in the area(2 days), called before outage to tell tech support told them the drop was cut, guaranteed a fix on scheduled technician (2 more days) , technician doesn't replace drop calls 3rd party to replace says they come next day (1 more day?) ,Get text that the schedule have been moved to 6 days later(6 more days), Called to see I can get it sooner. Cannot and was informed SWC (customer support said it was Soil and water center) has to come and fix the drop( I mentioned its Ariel not underground). Had to look up SWC it was actually "service wire center" hopefully . They do not know have a few years as a Field tech for a cable company. I'm leaning to switch my services back to my previous. Technician broke garage sensor today. Can't get a hold of anyone for customer service and now we have to call a garage technician to come and fix it and repair and pay out-of-pocket. We are unable to open or close the garage to safely park our vehicle. read more

No internet 5 days then no tv 2 days. Hours on phone. Then message good news all fixed. Nothing was fixed. More hours on phone. Days for appointment for someone to come out and possible $150 charge. They said they were sorry over and over. Was all so stressful especially since we were missing world cup. We will be going to Spectrum even they have issues Im sure but much better customer service. If you're considering Frontier - run, run as fast as you can to ANY other provider. Frontier is THE WORST provider for television and internet. After years of suffering through their expensive and annoying service, I've finally endured enough. I'm going to transfer to a new provider. I don't even care if it's more expensive, I don't want Fronier to get one more dollar from me. I received my current bill which is almost $100 more a month for my "bundled plan." I called to inquire about the price hike. Instead of telling me why the bill was higher, this customer service person in INDIA starts telling me she's going to find a discount for me. Twenty minutes later she said she found a $70 discount (still $30 more than I was paying last month). I specifically asked her if her discount involved me loosing premium channels - AND SHE SAID NO, I WOULD NOT LOOSE ANY CHANNELS. Then she told me she was going to upgrade my internet service - even though my internet service was reasonably dependable and worked just fine - and she would send a technician out to change my router. Whatever. The tech came out and worked on my utility box and changed my wifi boosters. Fine. Then I discovered I no longer had my premium channels BECAUSE THE INDIAN BITCH LIED. So now I'm supposed to pay $30 more a month for far less than what I had previously. INSANITY! I had those channels reinstated at the higher bundle price. Then the next day my wifi went out. When I called to get assistance with this new problem, some Indian guy starts telling me I need to go to my utility box and change a bunch of things and I can dispose of my router because it's old an ineffective. I told him there is no way I'm messing around with what he's telling me to do and he needs to send the technician back out. He said it will cost me $150 to have the technician come out to fix his mistakes. OH, MY GOD. I'm so done. read more

Two of their reps showed up to solicit services at my place after 10pm. 10PM!!! When I politely asked them to leave, they kept pressing on until I really had to let them know I wasn't interested. I can't buy from a company who does that out of the blue. read more

I wish I could give them zero star. I signed up with Frontier internet about 10 months ago. I put up with my intermittent internet service for a couple of weeks thinking it's going to be better. I called Frontier and I was told I need to add an eero extender for extra $10 per month. I did that but my service was not any better. I called them again and I was told that I need a second eero, one next to the modem/router and another one next to TV. I put up with this setup for a few months and finally decided to switch my service to T-mobile. So, here is my big disappointment and issue. I called Fromtier on Friday, 6/12 which was the last day of my service month to cancel the my service. I was told that I have to speak to their loyalty department on Monday 6/15 because they were gone for the day on Friday 6/12. I called Frontier loyalty department on Monday and cancelled my service and was told that they would back date it to Friday 6/12 so I wouldn't have to pay for the month starting 6/13 to 7/12. To my surprise, a text from Frontier came on 6/16 that I cancelled my service on 6/15 and owe them for the month of 6/13 to 7/12. I tried to call Frontier but can not get hold of a live agent. AI keeps asking the same question and terminate the call after times Does anybody know how I can get hold of a live agent at Frontier? read more

If you are a Frontier customer and was affected by the outage; move to another company; all they want to do is sell you more equipment; they are not interested in helping your equipment to work better my internet kept going down every day and the issue was never resolved I ended up moving to Spectrum; my son lives in the same are and had had them for over 4 year and no issues with them so far. Do yourself a favor I was afraid to move but now I am happy I finally did. Be aware it will take a long time to cancel service with frontier they try to Make it hard but juts get rid of them. @Frontier is the worst company I have ever dealt with. I was a customer for 22 years, lost my home in the Palisades fires and moved temporarily to playa vista. I ported my phone number there, not to lose it. A year later, I am moving back to a Frontier service area and tried to port my phone back. Over a month of dealing with 4-5 agents, then 8 retention supervisors, sitting in an empty house on three different occasions waiting for techs, they now tell me they can not port my phone number back to their company as their wire station can't take my number . Each supervisor told me "oh the order wasn't done correctly, this time no problem ". Either their staff are ignorant or untrained or just don't tell the truth. terrible business. you return equipment and they say you didn't and charge you. you call to resolve and they credit your next bill. so you have to pay for their error, because they try to cheat the cus. their phone system is a joke, you have to go through 5 minutes of recorded messages to get to someone that reads a scrip. unfortunately, their product (internet) is about the only game in town. it is a monopoly of ignorance. they shouldn't be allowed to be in business with how 5hey treat their customer. read more
