1st Choice is my choice for air duct cleaning! Mo, got back to me very quickly from my e-mail…read moreinquiry and we had something set up in less than 30 minutes from the time I contacted them. He followed up with a confirmation call the day before to make sure that my schedule had not changed. He was extremely professional and courteous. He told me his tech Ralph would be the one coming to the house to do the work, so I had a name to go with a face prior to him getting here. Ralph and his co-worker arrived early for the job and got to work immediately. He explained everything that needed to be done and got my furniture and breakables moved with respect and caution. While doing the job, he should me how much debris was removed and I actually took a picture of how much came out of the ducts. It was amazing. He also explained how this buildup is not good for the furnace nor the home overall and that routine maintenance is key to making sure a home is healthy. The quote Mo provided me via e-mail was exactly what I paid as well. Overall, I was very happy with the service and work that was done and will be calling them again to have my ducts cleaned and when it comes time to have the carpet cleaned in my basement, they are #1 on my list to call.

Mo, it's appalling how rude your comments to negative reviews are. There's no need to be…read moredisrespectful. It's interesting to me that you think berating previous clients will win you new ones. Yes, you asked me to call you. But I have no interest in hearing your explanations. I sent you an email on 7/5, four days after the first service, stating every concern that I posted in my review; and you offered no explanations or apologies then. And still you haven't. The pencils and other items left in the vents were not glued; they were simply missed. They were collected when Ralph came back the second time. And I said the ducts are still dirty... with dirt, not glue. Obviously air isn't going to remove glue. Don't treat me like an idiot, because I'm not.

Yelp guided me to several options to consider for service, and upon reading many reviews, I decided to contact Safe Dryers. I contacted them rather late on a Friday afternoon, but they promptly texted me back, and got me on their calendar. Saul and his colleague arrived at the scheduled time, and got to work. They vacuumed out a pile of lint, and exclaimed at the amount in such a short dryer vent :). They measured the airflow, and explained to me what the ideal airflow is, what mine was at the start, and what it is now. They answered every question that I had about the state of the system and how I should maintain it going forward. They were efficient and cordial. What else can I expect? I'd like to point out that Safe Dryers wasn't the first company I called. The company, which was referred by my appliance repair folks, wanted to come to "inspect" my system for a low fee, and then "assess" what needed to be done and provide an estimate on site. When I asked how much it would cost to clean the vent, which I knew needed to be done, this other company would not answer that question. They insisted on a $69 visit to provide that assessment and cost. Safe Dryers had a simple answer--$169 for a ground level vent, $259 for something 10' off the ground or more. I'm sure if Saul and his team found something amiss while they were here, they would have told me about it, but all I needed was that vent cleaning, and that is what I got. A bargain at $169. Bada-Bing, Bada-Boom. Thank you, Safe Dryers!

Saul had come out to clean the vent back in July so I called him to ask what might have happened and if he'd noticed anything at the time. He came out the next day to evaluate and remedy the situation. He was very thorough, replaced the tubing and cleaned the lent mess, all free of charge! He apologized for the oversight (it was difficult to see that the metal attaching to the tubing had been warped and was therefore not fitting correctly). He not only took accountability but was very timely and respectful in his approach. This kind of high-quality customer service is very rare these days and it was much appreciated! We'll definitely be using Safe Dryers in the future and will recommend him to others who are in need of these services.
