I've been to fronk's a couple of times, and the food never disappointed took my mom for a pre mother's day lunch, and it was amazing. The bartender who had to be our waiter too was very pleasant, friendly, and attentive to us. We ordered the 3 wise men's dish, which included pork hot links, baby back ribs, and we got 3 sides with that sweet potato fries, Mac and cheese, and Battered corn on the cob. My friend and I decided to patio hop (we just had a leisurely breffast next door at The Nest Tambien) and come in for lunch and a drink. The service was fast and friendly. Well I been to this place a couple times years ago and it was great. Their burgers are not as good as they used to be. Bread barely toasted, asked for medium rare on burger and nowhere near that, basically got it well done. The battered shrimp was good though. Our waitress was good first half of the night, second half was hanging out with friends at another table and we had to flag another waitress to get our check. And lastly they advertise $2 off their draft beer during happy hour. Once we got our bill we noticed it's only $1 off. Not a huge deal when paying over $100 but do not like the fake advertisement. Fronks is always a good time! Hugely known for being the locals sports bar, it is packed if a game is on. We usually sit at the bar because bartenders are super friendly and the drinks are great. We've even tried a new cocktail or two that they were soon to launch. As for food, I've tried a good amount! I have to say everything has been great BUT the pizza. A few notable items- They have a delicious salad that's blue cheese and bacon. Wings are great, asada fries are bomb, fried mushrooms yum, fried pickles drool, burgers are HUGE. Good tasting Burger and fries. Ordered be Fronks burger and fries combo. Delicious tasking burger. I arrived 1 hour before closing with a party of 7. We all got our food pretty quick. My only gripe was that we received an order of under cooked sweet potato fries. We did notify the waitress but the kitchen was closed and could not cook them thoroughly so they were removed from the bill. Great for doing that but sucked for the guess that stayed hungry. This was my first time trying Fronks, my boyfriend has been wanting to go here for the longest. We decided to stop by this Monday evening and it was surprisingly not busy in here. We walked in and they let us know we can choose wherever to sit. They had QR codes for the menus and if you don't have service they provide free Wifi! Food was pretty great and service was very friendly and attentive. We probably spent around $48 for two meals and an appetizer and two non alcoholic drinks. Not bad at all! Ive supported Fronks since the tiny OG location where The Nest is now. The burgers were always the showstopper and once they upgraded to a bigger area, all the quirky decor, laid back patio and HH specials made it even better. Ive had sooooo many great drunken times with friends and even reserved the patio when my husband turned 30. New owner couple years ago changed it to "just another sports bar". And during early Covid, i didnt trust them with the lack of distancing tables or limiting large groups. Ive recently returned again and it was not a good experience at ALL.. HH drink pricing is whack ($8 pints?? TF?) My all time fave nachos were so skimped out on ingredients and significantly less tasty. And $20 for 6 pieces on the shrimp platter? Nah. Im good. Stopped by the other day with my kids for some dinner. We sat inside so my son could watch the Laker game. The people around us were being pretty loud but having a great time. if you want a more peaceful i would suggest eating outside because it was really cozy out there. There food was really good. Highly recommend their battered mushrooms and zucchini. I got so full from appetizers that i only order their bacon blue salad which was phenomenal. We love Fronks, the food has only gotten better over time, but the flies are getting ridiculous. Every time food comes out the kitchen more flies appear in the dining room. Makes me wonder how many flies are in the kitchen. Service has gone down too. You come in and the newer servers are eating, on their phones, behind the bar chitchatting you have to call them to get your order taken or food removed from your table or your bill. They've gotten extremely comfortable and unprofessional. Maybe Fronk's should only be open in the evenings on certain weekdays because there's more servers in there than customers. With all that being said, the food is consistent. But definitely getting more and more concerned about those flies. read more

I came in a party of 5 on a Thursday evening at around 7:30 PM. When we got in, we were expecting quite a wait as we were quoted 40-45 minutes indoors or 20-25 minutes outdoors. However, after what felt like 5-10 minutes, there was a table ready for us outdoors on the patio. Actually, I noticed there were a handful of empty tables outside, so I'm not sure why they quoted such a long wait time? In any event, we waited shorter than we expected, so that was quite pleasant. Hostesses were pretty courteous. One of them was happy enough to give me a menu when I asked if they had one I could look at prior to being seated. I had noticed a Yelp check-in offer on my phone for 50% off an appetizer, and that's when I asked for said menu up front. Even with the extra 5-10 minutes of looking at the menu, deciding what to get was the hardest part of my day...yes even harder than the decisions I had to make at work that day. The menus didn't mention calories, so I had no idea of how filling a menu item would be. Would a burger be too much? Would a flatbread pizza be too little? How big was the mac & cheese? Oh man, tough decisions! Even if I knew which category I wanted, it still would have been a tough choice! At the last second, I suddenly remembered seeing a review from my Yelp friend Morgan H about how awesome their Mac & Cheese was. I took one final glance at the menu and happened to be on the page listing the mac and cheese. I ended up going with the pulled pork mac and cheese, which is actually a customer favorite. The others in my group ordered a flatbread pizza, cheeseburger mac and cheese, chicken & chips, and a Fronk-burger. Two others in my party frequent Fronk's, and they mentioned that no matter what I order, I'd have enough food for two meals. I wasn't actually hungry that evening, but I still wanted to challenge myself to eat an entire bowl of mac & cheese in one sitting without having seen one in person prior to my visit. It was about 15-20 minutes before we were presented our food...minus the flatbread pizza. That took about an additional 5 minutes before it came to our table. Luckily, the bacon cheddar fries, which we ordered as our appetizer, came just a few minutes after ordering and kept us company while we were waiting for our main courses. While I liked the presentation of the bacon cheddar fries as well as the taste of the first 2/3 of the name, the fries were too soft for my liking. I would have preferred crispier fries that didn't break so easily, but it wasn't too much of a bugger for me. The bowl of mac and cheese was pretty dang big. The pulled pork version has 8 oz of slow-roasted BBQ Pulled Pork on the bottom of the bowl that complemented the rest of the mac and cheese pretty well! It was also topped with panko-parmesan, which was a nice add-on. That had to have been at least 1.5 lbs of food, yet somehow, I was able to finish it all in one sitting! Everybody at my table was shell-shocked to say the least as none of them finished their meals. Despite winning this nonexistent eating competition, I definitely don't recommend finishing it all in one sitting; I recommend eating half at the restaurant and saving the other half for lunch the next day. I felt so bloated I couldn't eat anything until lunch the next day, and still I wasn't even hungry! Needless to say, I enjoyed that mac and cheese a little too much. A couple other comments about eating on the patio: We were seated in the far corner of the patio, so having a conversation was quite a challenge with cars passing by every now and then. It also didn't help that there was a pan-handler interrupting us before our meal. One member of our party offered to help, but it turns out he just wanted Jack-in-the-Box just a half-mile south of Fronk's. Service was pretty decent. The servers were very courteous, but could use improvement in the smiling department as I didn't remember seeing a single smile on anyone's faces. They also didn't come to refill my water, although I was way more focused on vanquishing my bowl of mac and cheese. It's a solid 3.5 stars, but I'm rounding up because I would certainly welcome the opportunity to try their other dishes like their burgers (one of them even has peanut butter, which I did ponder). Their famous real peanut butter hot fudge brownie sundae is a must-have for all the sweet-tooth Yelpers out there! I had several spoonfuls even after having consumed that giant bowl of mac and cheese. Yes, it really was that good, and you can also request to have peanut butter on the side. TL;DR - It was harder for me to decide what I actually wanted than to actually finish my whole meal in one sitting, and a main course at Fronk's can last you two meals. However, eating outside isn't particularly the best spot due to nearby traffic as well as the potential for pan-handlers. Still, the food is enjoyable enough to warrant return visits, hopefully indoors this time, especially with the colder weather coming! read more

Found an awesome sports restaurant/bar in Bellflower or Bellfleur, as stated by a nearby mural adjacent to the restaurant. There were high-rise tables that can fit up to four, regular dining tables up to four, and long tables up to eight or ten. The staffs were amicable. If you're a fan of corn, this is an item you can't miss. PULLED PORK NACHOS - Crispy seasoned Tortilla Chips topped with slow-roasted Pulled Pork, chopped Tomato, Black Beans, Jalapenos, Sour Cream housemate Salsa, and melted Jack and Cheddar - Sharable plate for a big party! I was very impressed by the massive size of this dish. The pulled pork was buried under layers of melted cheese. There were a lot of toppings all over the nachos and definitely made this nachos right. Recommended. HOT HOUSE GARDEN BURGER - It's Hot! Garden Burger, grilled Onions, HABENERO RELISH, with fresh Spring Greens, Cole Slaw, and Mayo - WARNING, it's spicy. This burger brings the heat. For my side, I ordered a salad with blue cheese, and I am glad I did. It helped alleviate the fire raging from my mouth. Even though this burger was a vegetarian option, I enjoyed the taste. Was just there 6/13/25 and I was seated in patio by street. I just wanted night caps and to watch the games. After my first round of beers were brought for me and the wife I never saw the waitress again. After over 30 minutes and an empty glass for another 10 minutes I went to the bar and cashed out and asked the bartender if I could open a tab with her (it seemed like a smart move to get service quicker) and she said yes. She never acknowledged me after that. The place was not very busy btw. So after another 20 minutes we just left. Terrible experience. Not gunna gamble with that again. My second visit and Fronks didn't disappoint. It was a pleasure to see Tori my waiter from the last visit. It felt good to be treated with such patient hospitality by Ariana. She was very attentive and informative. She even assisted my baby sis on a dinner that she wanted to get her hard working boyfriend. I finally get to a recent review of this place. I had the pleasure of trying out Fronks for a sec time yesterday 7/21/24. I arrived around 630 pm and notice it wasn't that busy so that was a plus for me. I was walked over to a table and our server was right there waiting for us to ask us what kind of drinks we wanted. We ended up not getting any alcoholic drinks and stayed with soft drinks. I ended up getting a Diet Pepsi since they did not have coke products. They have a large menu but I was in the mood for a burger. I ended up choosing the Fronks burger with a side of Mac and cheese. Now let me tell you, that burger was massive and absolutely delicious and cooked perfectly. The Mac and cheese was not my fav. Hard to believe because I think it's hard to screw up Mac and cheeese. My guest got the battered chicken I believe with a side of fries. I was able to taste his plate and his chicken was really good. His fries not so much. They tasted old and had been out for a cool ass minute. We both agreed that the fries were no bueno. Our service tho was outstanding.
