Very cool business. I have been to many of their locations and really like their menu. It's a great choice especially if you want to grab something quick and still have some healthy choices.

    Sad sausage hand pie

Oof - it pains me to do this review. For the last couple years, I've been coming to this drive-thru location because I loved (emphasis on past tense here) their hand pies. I'd get two sausage hand pies and some sort of coffee, and it was always great! Super flaky crust and yummy egg and sausage filling. And then about 2 months ago, they were dry and had maybe not even half of the filling that they had always had. I thought maybe it was just a bad batch, but I didn't go back until today. And they were the same - not great. They just seem drier and have not even half as much filling. One of the pies didn't even have sausage in it. If you look at the pictures, they used to be much more full and filling. But now, I will need to have an earlier lunch at like 10 because there isn't much in these. Honestly, they remind me of pastries that have been in the freezer a little too long. Unfortunately, I won't be coming back for these. Old hand pies - 5/5 (I talked about them all the time, too) New hand pies - 1.5/5

    Chicken Chi bowl

I have eaten here before but I notice the quality declining. Here is a chicken chi bowl it's 98% Kale 1% chicken and 1% sauce. It's dry and tasteless.

They used to use ciabatta bread, today it was greasy sourdough :-(

PROS: I've been coming here off and on for about three years, it is so nice to get local breakfast food from a drive-thru. I always get the peanut butter pipeline smoothie or a breakfast sandwich (bacon is the good kind, thick cut and well cooked), but today I tried the peach and it was delicious. The staff is refreshingly friendly and the wait time is never too long, they also still have punch cards. CONS: I haven't been here in quite a while, so I ordered my go-to bacon breakfast sandwich. The reason my updated review went from five stars to four is because of the bread. Instead of the little square ciabatta bread (you can see it in one of the pictures somebody else posted), it was some kind of sourdough toast slathered with butter, making it a little bitter and leaving my fingers greasy. PLEASE go back to the other bread!

The staff at this location are amazing! I went in and saw they had the chi bowl advertised now, so I purchased that on my lunch. Unfortunately I ended up dropping it, and they offered me a whole new one for free(picked up the next day) Such a kind gesture for my own mistake. Again, wonderful staff, ESPECIALLY Natalya who offered the new bowl!

For the chicken, you pick your own flavor/spice level. We went with full platter (whole chicken) with half mango lime and half mild. For our 2 sides, we chose corn on the cob and cole slaw. We also added potato wedges. We grabbed our seats after we placed our order at the counter. Our order was ready around 18 minutes. They called our name and we picked up at the pick up window. Full platter comes with 10 pieces. Mild looked pretty plain but it was super spicy, tasted more like hot. Mango lime was nothing I expected. The flavor was alright but wouldn't get again. Very spicy as well. Chicken was a bit dry but overall, tasted ok. Corn on the cob was a bit burnt. Coleslaw was very creamy. Potato wedges was really good. Crispy on the outside, fluffy on the inside. Service was friendly. They do offer cups for complimentary water, self serve. Seatings indoor and outdoor. Only one neutral gender restroom for customers. They are connected to Sourdough Bread Company. Ample parking in the plaza.

Had the BEST Monte Cristo I have EVER had!…read more We're in Redding for the weekend and turned to Yelp to find a breakfast spot--so glad it led us to Trendy's! The reviews were spot on because Trendy's did NOT disappoint. I love a good Monte Cristo and have tried a lot of them, but this one is hands-down the best I've ever had. The ham and turkey tasted like something straight out of grandma's kitchen on a special holiday, the cheese was melted perfectly, and the bread-to-meat-to-cheese ratio was absolute perfection. The service was just as amazing--Alma, our waitress, suggested I try the mango jam with it. I was hesitant (I'm usually a berry jam girl), but WOW... it was so good I ended up taking some home! My husband ordered the BEN sandwich and said it was delicious. He also had the fresh-squeezed orange juice, which brought back sweet memories of his grandma making it for him in a little amber glass when he was younger. Portion sizes are generous, prices are fair, and parking was easy--which is always a win. If you're passing through or local to the area, make sure you stop by Trendy's for breakfast or brunch. There's a reason they have so many great reviews! *REVIEW UPDATE* It was so good the first time we went back today! My Husband had the steak tacos and said they were AMAZING! I have a sensitive tummy and sometimes finding a good mix of carbs and protein can be a challenge. I ordered just a scrambled egg and since the turkey in the Monte Cristo was so good I ordered turkey all by itself for an added little protein! Dipped it in their homemade jam of course! For my carbs I ordered a pancake. (Kind of apprehensive about that from a prior review I read...) that review was way off! If that pancake was from a box please let me know who makes it cause it was so fluffy and yummy! As we sat outside we saw many people come in and out and the employees greeted many of them by name! I almost wish I lived closer so I could be a regular too! Sorry no pics This time as we are before we thought about it!

The location right next to Pizza Guys. Not only is it sleek and trendy- there are plenty of tables and chairs (even chargers). The menu has all the drinks from their first location, but this place has an expansive menu of snacks and small meals. Banh Mi French Fries - Hands down the best! If I was in a mood to snack, that would be my go to pick. Tofu Bites - Delicious and light, but needed some dipping sauce which you can ask them over thr counter. Sriracha sauce hit the spot for me. Chicken Bites - Also great, but I think I prefer the other Tofu and Banh Mi French Fries more. The drinks were on par with the same consistency as their first location. If you want to know my fave drink I order from BTC, it is the Earl Gray Milk Tea. I can't find one in the bay area that is on par with the Earl Gray Milk tea here at BTC so it's always a nice treat when I stop by. Last, I have to mention the employees are superstars. Not once have I met an employee that was rushing us and/or rude. They are always kind and friendly. If you are a boba connoisseur like me and are nearby Shasta county, do not pass up on BTC. If they ever closed down, I will be devastated.
