2 Hawaiian Hot Dogs, which is messy indeed.
    Ernie F.

This food truck catering business was utilized at an event going on, with the menu provided, which is personalized through different food choices, by whoever coordinates it. The main offerings for this event had chicken pork sandwiches, hot dogs with also a Hawaiian hot dog, loaded with chopped pineapples and mayo, sides as well, and a variety of drinks. Service was great and was very thrilled to see the line moving quickly. Would like to explore their other choices in future events.

    Delicious shakshuka!!

Announcing the opening of From The Ground Up Cafe in Highland, NY!! Located in the heart of Vineyard Commons, Liana, James, and their wonderful team are serving breakfast and lunch Tuesday though Sunday, offering a menu that is sure to please all palates! When I first looked at the menu, I said, "oooh, fried chicken and waffles! I'll have that!" (I've never had it before.) BUT then I saw Shakshuka and my choice was sealed. Served in a hot cast iron pan, this wonderful stew of tomatoes, eggs, spices, and chick peas came topped with perfectly-sauteed kale--all the things I love in one dish with sourdough toast points to get every bit of goodness. My fellow diners ordered the fried chicken and waffles, and were very satisfied. No chicken fingers at this cafe--these were full chicken breasts fried to order. Chef Liana's maple-dijon sauce was a big hit--the combination created a wonderful flavor surprise that was well-balanced and paired well. My other daughter chose the Chipotle Chicken Panini, with chicken, tomato, fresh mozzarella and topped with watercress and served with incredibly crunchy shoestring fries, salted to perfection. I had a chance to step into the kitchen and meet the team, put faces to the names I've been hearing for a while. What an exciting vibe back there, which carried out into the dining room with the friendly and attentive servers. So if you're in or near Highland, head on over to From The Ground Up Cafe for breakfast or brunch--you won't be sorry!! (And I'm not just saying that because the Chef is my daughter!)

I'm electing From the ground up food truck and catering the best in the Hudson Valley. everyday you can select only the freshest and delicious meals from entrees to deserts. Liana and James are CIA grads who love serving the community. look for the big red food truck. you won't be disappointed E

The restaurant offers a balanced experience. The food was good, though not very memorable. Service was professional

I expected more. Just average in all areas. It's not a restaurant I'd go back to. Not much parking.

We stopped here on the way to the airport and were immediately amazed with the customer service. John and Brady were phenomenal. We ordered the small Italian club with Chicken cutlet and the Vittorio. We also got a large Muffaletta with the olive salad on the side, pesto chips, mixed pickled veggies salad and a cannoli. We wanted to change since we were going to the airport so we had to use the restroom. That's where we encountered John. He is such a lovely man. He was so sweet and I enjoyed our conversation. My sister was throughly impressed with Brady's customer service. He made her feel at home and was very friendly. All of our food was good. They devoured the veggie salad on the car ride to the airport and we ate some of the sandwiches too. The portions are big and you can share. The 3 sandwiches we got were plenty for our family of 6 plus leftovers. Rossi Rosticceria Deli 45 S Clover St Poughkeepsie, NY 12601 (Review 50 in 2025 and 893 overall)

It is located on a back street with not much activity, and I was able to find parking quickly, which is key when you are on a work break. As soon as I walked in, the smells and sights of an authentic Italian deli were exactly what you hope for. There is a menu with plenty to choose from and a pastry case that I already know I will be coming back to try next time. I went with the Blue Ribbon panini, and in about ten minutes I had a hefty sandwich wrapped and ready to go. When I sat down to eat and picked it up, it did not disappoint. Chicken cutlet, ham, honey mustard, roasted tomatoes, Swiss cheese, and great bread. Everything blended together perfectly. On the first bite, the chicken cutlet burned my mouth in the best way possible. The tomatoes and honey mustard tied it all together and made it incredibly satisfying. I could only eat half because it was such a heavy sandwich. My dad finished the other half and shared the same appreciation for a really good panini. The next time I am working nearby, I know exactly where I am going, and I will definitely be trying the cannoli and the black and white cookies. 5 out of 5 stars.

After we walked in one of the waitresses informed us that we can sit wherever we want. I instantly felt like I was inconveniencing her with my presence by the way she said it. Didn't take it personal just yet. What appeared to be the hostess came over a few minutes after we sat down and handed us menus that were very dirty. I looked at my husband and said I am ready to walk out of this place bc I am starving and it looks like they are too short staffed right now which is understandably out of a businesses control sometimes. But wait, instead of the waitress coming to our table to bring water or ask us if we would like a drink, she went to another table with a man and a child that she obviously knew well, and started eating their french fries and talking. That's when we decided to leave and spend our money elsewhere. So unprofessional. That couldn't wait? I hate to leave a review like this, but if I was the owner of this business, I would not want someone like that working for me, representing what seems to be a great place.
