Simply put... "OUTSTANDING" service & work!!! The property managers (CRES) of my storage garage in Hollywood reached out to FMR to resolve a roof leak that needed to be resolved urgently. Everyone - I mean E V E R Y O N E that I dealt with at this company was amazing - really on it. In the process of putting the logistics of the repairs in place, I spoke with Nicole, Jennifer, Daisy & CJ in the office - ALL good communicators with excellent follow up and follow through. Andrew did the pre-repair site inspection and - upon Estimate approval from CRES - returned another day to do the roof repair. His work was excellent and I could not be more grateful. He showed me comprehensive before and after photos & explained the cause of the issue / took no short cuts in doing a thorough repair of the entire garage roof. He is a remarkable young man with excellent knowledge and an outstanding work ethic. (He told me that his father also works for FMR!) This is a phone number that I will definitely hang onto!!! FRM stands for First Reliable Maintenance... they are anything but. They were scheduled to come out and provide an estimate between 10:00AM-2:00PM on a Wednesday but missed that window. No-call, no-show. The company that manages our rental property called shortly after 2PM to see if they showed up and I said "no." I was soon told they would be arriving before 5:30PM that day (still Wednesday). Again, no-call, no-show. The next day (Thursday), I received no phone call to explain why they missed 2 appointments or to confirm a new time. By the time 5:30PM rolled around Thursday evening, I realized they weren't coming. I got a call from them roughly 48 hours later on Friday to make a new appointment and told them not to bother, then expressed my dissatisfaction to the lady who called. She was apologetic, thankfully, but I got the impression she had a lot of experience apologizing on behalf of her servicemen. I don't mind people being late or rescheduling as long as they are communicative and show that they respect your time. This company does not. They missed a 10AM-2PM window and didn't follow up for two whole days. TWO WHOLE DAYS. A company with "RELIABLE" in their name FFS. I checked them out on Yelp and there are several other reviews from recent years where people tear them a new one for their lack of communication. A lot of these feature replies from the company where they apologize and pledge to do better but it's bullshit - they have not trained their employees to communicate better, or if they have, they are clearly not holding them accountable when they fail to do so because they are still doing it. If you reach out to this company for help with anything after reading these reviews, that's on you. read more

Every thing was cool, but after Covid they raised their price , let go of the accounting team , and in return the customers paid higher prices and received less quality work. We know you buy the materials at Home Depot but they will never share with you their cost of materials . If you can buy it yourself like I do, it is better. Literally the most unprofessional company. They gave me a five hour window and expected me to sit home all day and then they didn't show and didn't even call to let me know they weren't coming. Then they told me I had to wait over a week and gave me another five hour window. These people clearly don't care about anyone's time and are extremely unprofessional. We had called this company because we always see their advertisement on our monthly AOA magazine. In my opinion I think I was overcharged for the cosmetic work needed to our rental but I'll let you be the judge. Attached is the invoice and the exact work completed. Unfortunately because we were in a hurry and on a tight schedule we ended up hiring them for the project. As far as the technician, he arrived on time and did quality work. Quick & easy! I had a problem removing my fridge because some how it was shoved into an area that seemed to be much smaller then the actual fridge. Had a wonderful experience with 1st Reliable! They were contracted by my building manager to complete some repairs in my kitchen cabinets and I am so impressed with the final repairs. They were done perfectly the first time and the repairman Miguel was awesome - very communicative as I was away from my apartment when he came to do the repairs. He was right on time and called to confirm his arrival, when he was leaving, and to assure me that it was all taken care of - a very nice surprise to come home and have my cabinets fixed as promised! I cannot express how unprofessional this company is. I really tried working with this company, they have the most unreliable customer service and they are liars. I tried to get estimates from them for several properties and projects and still have not heard back. One of them was to fix a sprinkler system at one of our properties, Nicole said that the vendor Tony should have the estimate by end of the day Friday or by Monday at the latest, never heard back from them. So I called Gerardo from Garden Green Landscaping, who we worked with at another property in the past(who we should have called 1st)on Monday and he came by after a job that afternoon and just finished the job here and then we went to a third property and he now has a job there. This could have went to 1st Reliable, and now Garden Green Landscaping has us on a quarterly basis to check our sprinklers lines at three properties. The other project was a bathroom demolition & bathroom remodel. I made an appointment to meet their vendor Juan at the location who was very professional and on time. He answered a few questions via text promptly. However I did have an issue with the vendor not using a measuring tape to measure the size of the area for the new tub and shower and I contacted the office to tell them that I was a bit taken back by that because at the time the measurements for the tub was 58 inches and I he said that the tub was standard. Once I did a little research I found out that that once the walls are removed the standard tub will fit perfectly, but I had to find that out on my own because I did not hear back from customer service to tell me that is normal. Once I finally did reach someone they gave me the wrong email for the customer service manager. I eventually contacted Nicole who said the same thing as above regarding the estimate and still NO estimate for the project. They lost this job too, we are now working with On Time Rooter & Plumbing Guys, Inc. who are extremely professional and we are working with contractors who are professional and return calls and send estimates. I say don't waste your time with LAST UN-RELIABLE, they don't even try to reach out to their customers who left bad reviews. Just received the quote for patching the drywalls and repaint of a tiny laundryroom from this company. The lady who said who would call back never did. Took more than 2 calls to finally get an email. She still didn't bother to call back. The price quoted is ridiculous. $1100 including material and labor. The materials cost less than $100. I had experienced the smell of sewage in my apartment depending on which room I was in. Ultimately, Armando my plumber, who was dispatched quickly identified that the problem was from the backed up main line that had leaked. He worked quickly to clear the line, do some local clean up, and replaced the cap. I appreciated that he was very thorough with his explanation as to what the issue was. He also got my garbage disposal going again, even though it that was not part of the original complaint. 1st Reliable Maintenance was incredibly helpful and so great. Our kitchen sink was clogged and the technician that came to fix it went above and beyond. It turned out that the pipes we had were the wrong size, which were also causing a leak. So not only did the tech fix the clog as well as our jammed garbage disposal, but he replaced all the pipes and just fixed problems we didn't even know we had. I submitted a maintenance request through my property management system and within a couple days 1st reliable sent someone out to help! The guy they sent was great and did the work quickly without leaving any mess behind at all, but I'm only giving 4 stars because of an issue that came up when he was on his way. He was given the wrong address - so when he called to let me know he was outside, it initially caused a huge amount of confusion. Neither of us could understand why we didn't see each other! Turns out he was a few miles away! After we figured out the problem he showed up not much later. He showed me on his work app that my name was associated with a totally different address. This maintenance company is top notch. My mom needed a handicap grab bar installed and they took care of it right away.
