Amazing home cooked food. Daily specials are awesome! I'll be back! Great old fashioned vibe. Decor is so nice.

What a wonderful unexpected gem we came across!! The place is super cute, service is great, and…read morefood was really good. I had a cold brew and hubby had the copper tea. He had a turkey club and I had a turkey avocado sandwich on multigrain. For sides we had cucumber salad, potato salad, and mac & cheese. A word of surprise, the potato salad is served warm, but it was really tasty. The only disappointment was the mac & cheese, which was grainy and soup-like with very overcooked noodles in it. They had no discernible shape and almost seemed like egg noodles oddly enough. We enjoyed our drinks, sandwiches and salads very much.

Such a cute, cozy place. It was like stepping into a warm cafe in another land…read more I started with a seasonal latte that had hints of toasted marshmallows, cinnamon, and pumpkin. Followed by a Monte Cristo. The bread was so light and fluffy. The saltiness of the meat with the sweetness of the bread and sugar with a little spread of raspberry preserves delighted the tastebuds. The side of fruit was large and seasonally appropriate. You order at the counter, where I think the owner was taking the orders and the accent definitely sounded authentic German like the name of the restaurant. She was lovely. Everything is made fresh so sit back and relax and the dining area is designed perfect for that with couches, cozy chairs and comfortable seats at the tables. I looked up what the name means: "Drachenfutter" is also a term used to describe gifts or treats that someone might bring home for their significant other when they feel guilty about coming home late or drunk. True to the "gift" part of the name, you can take yummy homemade treats home with you and they do have a section of gifts you can buy. A nice gem of a place along Historic Route 66.

Cornerstone Subs & Pizza - This is what I took to go, 1/2 Ruben add grilled onions. HIGHLY DONT RECOMMEND THIS SANDWICH!!!

Haven't eaten there in years, decided to take the grandsons, a Monday at noon. Typical pizza joint…read moreopen seating booths and tables. Ordered a large pepperoni extra pepperoni and cheese garlic bread. Server was fast, polite and seemed on it. Bread came. Looked like a sub roll cut in half with butter and cheese melted on it 3 out of 5 stars. Pizza came apparently the kitchen or server got it wrong.... The cheese was so thick and ran off the pizza... very little pepperoni, even the grandsons scraped off the cheese and complained about the lack of meat, sauce was thick and didn't compliment the pizza it created a mess. That was a 2 of 5 stars for accuracy and edibility. I always try and leave a cash tip and did! Mentioned cash is better for taxes, she reminded me there are no taxes on tips, I replied oh that's right. Her response " At least that's one thing Trump can get right" well thank you for making it political! I get enough political BS everywhere, I don't want it while I'm out eating! 0 out of 5 stars there! The 15 year old grandsons said, it's a no go again!

I cannot believe I passed this place up. Delicious and reasonably priced. I ordered the Italian…read moresandwich, toasted, and will never go to the chain sandwich shop just up the street again. The homemade bread is as so tasty and fresh along with the giant pickle slices, it was over the top yummy. I could only eat half of it because it was so big. My boys both got Stromboli, same story as the sandwich, fresh, big and super tasty. The service was amazing. Very nice and quick staff. They are filled with Lebanon pride. The walls are filled with cool pictures of local athletes. It's not the fanciest place, but it is what you would expect out of a sandwich and pizza place. I am glad we randomly pulled into the parking lot to switch drivers. We will definitely stop by again.
