Love this place. Giant portions and tasty. Our service was good, but the food came out very slowly. I had the Greek Omelet and hash-browns. What a great breakfast spot! We have eaten here twice this week so far, and plan to go back one last time tomorrow. The bananas foster sauce was delicious on pancakes, french toast, or even oatmeal. The wild berry pancakes were unique and flavorful with the berries in the batter, turning thw pancakes pink. The pancakes were huge, including the gluten-free ones for my son. This is another great place for breakfast in Osage Beach. The menu has a variety of nice options. I went for the special with eggs, sausage, and a very tasty waffle, while my husband had the corned beef hash. He liked it, since it was fresh and not out of a can. The pancakes are HUGE! I got the short stack and couldn't eat half of it! The berry pancakes not only had berries on top but also cooked into the pancakes. The restaurant was very busy but our waitress was still friendly and welcoming. Only negative was they do not have specialty coffees. Except for a Bailey's coffee. I tried it and it was fine. I don't typically get alcohol in my coffee so I am not a reliable reference for that. read more

I took my son here for a quick breakfast during the middle of the week. The seating inside is limited as are the tables outside but we lucked out and got one of the tables outside. Our server Nichole was super nice and the service was great. So far as the food, it was all a little too greasy for my tastes. I had the Denver Omelette and Hash Browns and both were a bit salty. The HB's were for sure a bit too greasy. The pancake for me on the side was big but lacked flavor especially one of maltiness. We tried it and probably won't be coming back anytime soon. read more

We were really excited to try this place, once we enter the pink haired host (not sure of her name) began to take us to our seat. There was a slight miscommunication between our host and possibly another host or waitress not sure. The pink haired host audibly says "oh my god" to our group in annoyance over the miscommunication, not a great way to set the vibe for your restaurant. We are seated and our waitress (taller brown haired woman) was fine but passive aggressive and took our order. There were four of us I am not sure of what everyone else ordered but,I ordered a pancake with eggs and a side of bacon. The restaurant was busy so we understood the wait time for the food which was maximum 15-20 minutes. While we're waiting I observed the pink haired host bringing another table full of elderly people their food. Ultimately it was not that tables order and the host was getting annoyed that what she was calling out to the table was not being claimed by anyone, another miscommunication between the host and whomever in the back. She proceeded to say under her breath half ass "holy shit,jesus no one knows what they got", she stormed back to the kitchen again making it awkward and tense. When I got my food the bacon was burnt rock hard, and unfortunately the pancake tasted like flour and was incredibly bland. We had higher expectations for this place with the reviews, maybe it was a bad day but we paid our hard earned money to have a good experience. Don't let the line fool you or scare you off! They turn tables over quickly. Not great for parties larger than 6, but they make it work. Pancakes are really Dinner Plate sized! But today, a majority of my food stayed right there on the table; scrambled eggs, most of one of the pancakes, and the hash browns. The food was A-MAZING. The staff was very nice and service was great and fast. I had the biscuits and gravy with two scrambled eggs on top and hash browns. Seriously the BEST I've ever had. Biscuits are fresh and flaky and the eggs were seasoned perfectly along with the gravy. I was in heaven. My friend had one pancake and bacon. HUGE pancake and crispy bacon just like we like it. This place is excellent. The service, the food, the atmosphere...it's exactly what I want from a breakfast diner spot. Things to know...it's a converted Sonic drive-in, so there's about 10 tables and a counter top seating area for about 5 people. If you arrive when it's busy, you may have to wait but the food comes out quickly and the staff turns tables pretty fast. The normal pancake is HUGE...you've been warned. The small pancake is still pretty large. Their egg options are all great and the American fries (cubed potatoes) are really good. I highly recommend this spot! read more

Slow service, berating an employee that made a mistake in front of the lobby of customers, rude and demanding to customers waiting to be seated, no standing room at all. Don't even think about asking how long till your food will be out or a rude employee will come berate you for asking about your food.
