We went on Labor Day weekend so it was busy, but we were seated quickly. However, we waited 10 minutes to see our server then it took over 40 minutes for a half order of biscuits and gravy and a normal breakfast platter (eggs, hasbrowns, and toast). The biscuits and gravy was cold, the hash browns were cold, and the bread was barely toasted. We were seated right next to the waitress station with the cash register.... when we asked for our check we watched the waitress walk away from the register and took her another 10 minutes to get it to us..... we will not be back. read more

Come to this place for the vibes! Hostess was very sweet and on top of things. Went to the bar while we waited for a table, the breakfast shot was delicious, never had bacon as a chaser before but 10/10 also ordered the Malibu pina colada, the bartender asked if I wanted to add an extra shot into there, I was under the assumption it would be malibu but then they added a different dark rum which didn't taste great added in. Then we got sat for a table and the staff seemed a bit overwhelmed but it was a crazy beautiful busy Saturday morning so that is to be expected! If you are in a rush this is not the spot, but to sit back have a couple drinks and enjoy your relaxed morning, this hit the spot. By the time our food came out it was already cold but I needed to balance out my drinks so I didn't really care and it was delicious anyways! Will definitely be back, and while they are dog friendly, if it is a busy morning you may want to leave them at home cause the place was packed in. Thanks for the memories! read more

I've consistently been blown away by how much this restaurant grows with each visit, even in the busy season they manage to maintain a great experience, there is a wait in the mornings but it's well worth it! Everything was bad with this place! Go literally anywhere else in the Ozarks. Parking is a nightmare. Get an employee to coordinate spots on your slanted gravel makeshift lot. You told us 20-30 minutes. Waited 15 and then uncovered open table seating inside. Sat inside as did 3 other tables after us yet server comes in clueless and our order taken last. Food was no bueno. Burrito small and mostly tortilla. Chicken and waffles were dry and overcooked. Syrup finally brought to the table when we finished. Been all over the world and this breakfast spot simply stinks. Fire the hostess girls, get more servers when you are packed and streamline your kitchen so the food comes out hot and complete. read more

Took over 2hrs to get food after ordering, just ordered burgers, completely unreasonable.

Can't beat lakeside location, get there early on weekends or plan to wait. Food is a bit pricey and they take no substitutions so healthy options with your omelet is a non starter. Overall, food was good and service was cordial. Boat parking is about 20 max using all spots. Could be so much more if they made an effort. read more

We were very excited to eat at The Hatch! We were sat and the a few minutes later another table was sat near us. The hostess brought that table water and didn't bring us any, we had to ask. We sat for about 30 minutes before someone ever even came over to us. The waiter told that same table that sat after us he'd be right with them and those people had to tell him we were sat first. He took our order then theirs and they still got their food first. It was a very underwhelming experience and we WILL NOT be going back:) read more

Poor customer service; arrived at 11:40, seated at 12:30 and told we had to order from the breakfast menu since we requested our table when we arrived at 11:40. Food was mediocre at best. One of us ordered the hash brown casserole and was told they were out of it. We all ordered hash browns and all received some sort of reconstituted potato squares. Overall, is a 4.0/5. The service isn't amazing, definitely slower paced and if you ask for something additional, it'll take awhile. Servers are very nice though, you can tell they are busy. Breakfast was good, the cinnamon roll wasn't very sweet with the cream cheese frosting. Berries were fresh and the French toast was good, would still get again. Overall, $60 for two coffees, cinnamon roll with bacon, French toast and hatch haystack. Very convenient pulling up the boat or jet ski and getting good food read more

Food is good but they did flub a few of our orders. Service was slower but they were busy. Possibly under staffed? We were a party of 13. We called ahead (as they request) at 9:45am to do "The Challenge." They said give them 45 mins. We arrived about 10:30am. Didn't get the "The Challenge" meal until noon after the rest of our entire party had finished eating. Staff told us several times that "The Challenge" takes up their entire griddle. If you can't accommodate, just say so. Made us feel like we were putting them out. We'll be back but I'd suggest skipping "The Challenge." Mimosas were great! read more

Had breakfast on a Monday. 6 people in the party. 3 people ordered pancakes, 2 ordered avocado toast, one 2 eggs sunny side up. Not difficult order. Took over 35 minutes to bring to table. Food at best was room temperature, portions were small. They don't serve decaf, took another 15 minutes to get an order of scrambled eggs that was forgotten. The reasoning for 4 stars was that I felt it was a little pricey for breakfast, $82 for 3 people before tip. I ordered the mile high burrito that was $15 it said you got a choice of pork chili or gravy, and they charged us $4 for the chili. The menu did not state it was extra. read more

Nothing except the has browns had flavor and my croissant sandwich smelled rotten and like sulphur. I spent $15 on something Quik Trip makes for $5. Coffee was watered down worse than gas station coffee and the waitress made no mention of the fact I hardly touched my food. Wouldn't recommend. read more
