We've vacationed several times in Osage Beach, but we had never tried this place before. It's now one of our favorite places, and I highly recommend it if you're in the area. The decor is nice, and the servers are skilled and attentive. The food is the main event, and it doesn't disappoint. The menu offers a lot of options, and it all tastes fresh and delicious. I had the Shrimp Scampi which was outstanding. The toasted ravioli is also really good. I'd love to try their lasagna next time. They have a Lake Ozark location too, and I'd really like to visit that one as well. read more

This place is starting to struggle on food quality and appearance. Starting to have concerns that few items are prepared fresh and many proteins are prepacked and just reheated. Prices have ticked up while service and food quality have dipped which usually an indication a non-busy restaurant is cutting corners to stay afloat. read more

Went there on Father's Day, a Sunday. They posted my debit card on my bank on the following Monday. It included both the base cost plus the generous tip. Three days later. They also posted on my bank a second charge for just the base cost. I had to call and inform him of the mistake, after my bank verified it was definitely a second charge and they were going to put the second charge through. LR said they would talk to their accountant and get right back to me that day. Never heard anything back. I only found out after I checked online the following day that the second charge was withdrawn. Food was actually OK, seems to be well suited for tourist. We ordered a couple of dinners, salads and fried ravioli app.for pick up. While everything was ok nothing was great, the shrimp scampi wasn't as garlicky as most I've had, it was OK, but again not that flavorful. We won't be going back soon. Promptly seated. Ordered the toasted ravioli for an appetizer and a small side salad with house dressing. When the waiter asked if we needed anything else, I said ground pepper please for the salad. The waiter informed me that "they don't do that". An Italian restaurant that doesn't ground pepper for your salad. I've never had that experience. Definitely not the waiter's fault, but what a let down. We ordered Baked Mostaccioli with an additional meatball. The meatball was delicious. Li'l Rizzo's is one of my husband's and my favorite restaurants because the food is consistently excellent, so it's not surprise that I felt compelled to write a review because it's simply an outstanding mid-price restaurant. But the real reason for this review is to applaud our server, Trenton, and the busboy, Drake--absolutely two of the best service we've received at Lake of the Ozarks, not only at Li'l Rizzo's, but at the entire Lake. Both were warm, courteous, and totally committed to making our experience wonderful, and they did. Which is not an easy thing with six kids and six adults! I've been either living at or visiting the Lake of the Ozarks all my life and somehow had missed dining at Li'l Rizzos. I was excited to have lunch with my brother and sister in law. We were seated quickly. The decor is very "Tuscan" with arches and pillars. The waitress came quickly for our orders. We had the spinach, green chili and Jalepeno dip with tortilla chips. It was excellent. Creamy and very flavorful and not too spicy. My sister in law had the lasagna. It was an ample portion. She enjoyed it as it had lots of cheese and sauce. My brother had a salad and the minestrone, which he said was very good. I ordered the Chicken Spiedini and was disappointed. It was advertised as a chicken breast on a bed of angel hair pasta with a garlic butter sauce. The tiny chicken breast was so delicious, some of the best I've ever had. Sadly there was little or no garlic butter sauce and the noodles tasted very bland. What could have easily been an excellent dish seemed very underwhelming. I will eventually give them another try and hopefully have a better experience next time. read more

Fun atmosphere! It's like walking into an Italian version of Cheers (old sitcom). The staff is so warm and treats you like your bff's. The food is like eating in my grandma's kitchen. Perfectly Italian. Not the Americanized version but the good ol' Mama style. I had a craving for spaghetti and it hit the spot. Hubby had Calzone and licked his plate clean. It was stuffed full and oozed out when he cut into it. Now let's talk drinks the adult kind!! The Cherry Limeade was to die for!! Holy yum balls!! I have been coming to lil rizzos for several years, I have noticed a significant decline in the management at this location. over the last several months I have noticed the manager be rude, unkind, snippy and degrading to staff and guest such as myself. this is disheartening. The sauce and the chicken were good, but the pasta was over cooked. The dressing on the salad was delicious, but the lettuce was almost mushy, almost like it had been frozen at one point or something. The portions were generous. Over the last several years the quality of Rizzos food has been declining as pricing continues to rise. We figured we'd give them one more chance this week. We went to eat on a week day at 7:30pm only a few customers and they had enough staff to service everyone. I ordered the large salad and it came out looking much smaller than I expected. Li'l Rizzo's has been a must stop for our family for years on our trips to the lake. We stopped in on our most recent trip down as usual. Apparently the pandemic stops at the door of Li'l Rizzo's. Who knew? No social distancing, no masks or gloves on the staff, same dirty menus. The final straw was that the "sanitation" of a nearby table was a dirty wash rag. No spray. There were other issues I won't waste your time with, just know that if cleanliness is a concern of yours, this is not the place for you. It's a shame, because they have good food. I know everyone is fed up with the pandemic and businesses need to make their money, But we need to at least have a minimum amount of safety measures to try and keep us all safe and businesses growing. Happiness is spaghetti. Period. We were hankering some pasta while on vacation and stopped into Li'l Rizzo's for dinner. Parking is a non issue. The interior is massive and open, definitely an ideal spot for large groups. That being said, there are also with plenty of booths for a more intimate meal, too! Service was prompt and professional. I ordered the medium salad, an order of garlic bread and spaghetti entree to share. And I while the bread was perfection-- I'd skip it next time. They provide some cheddar bay biscuits meets Italy at each table! Yum. The Italian Margarita was nothing to write home about-- but their Happy Hour is! On Monday thru Friday, 3/6P enjoy half priced apps and drinks. The kids options were phenomenal and the best portion size with $5.95 price point we've seen all vacation! This is the first time going to this location. Our party of 4 were seated immediately. Our apps (toasted ravs and cheese garlic bread) were brought out quickly and were hot and delicious. My daughter ordered a glass of wine that was flat (only complaint). We all ordered 8" pizzas and they were all hot and tasted very good. An hour later passed with no bread and everyone around us getting their meal besides one other table who was there before us. We are big fans of the happy hour here - maybe our favorite at the lake. They have great deals on wine by the glass ($3 per glass, I think) and half-price on a few apps. We love the meatball and the spinach/artichoke/jalapeno dip. The last couple of times we also had the garlic chicken pasta, which is also very good. We also enjoy the house salad. It's a bit heavy on the dressing, but that's how I like it. None of this is of a mind-blowing quality, mind you, but the ambience is pleasing and during happy hour, it's all so cheap I can't really see how you could complain. This review is for the outlet mall location. We ordered pickup. It's a little confusing because uppit order and checkin on the website, they ask for your vehicle description but don't bring it out to you. The food was hot, except the garlic bread. The food was mostly good, except the garlic chicken pasta. I ordered it with wine sauce. The noodles were undercooked, the wine in the sauce was nonexistent, it was very bland. The tomatoes could have used some salt, and the chicken was overcooked. Basically the garlic chicken was a crime against Italian food. The manager was understanding and said we'll be refunded for the garlic chicken and cold garlic bread. May give it another chance in the future. read more
