The restaurant is beautiful and clean. We were greeted by the friendly staff and seated promptly. The server offered menus but we were there for one thing, the best Greek pizza ever made. We were not disappointed. We got the thin crust as usual, it is light, airy, and perfect. All the toppings are great, like the soft sweet onions, and tender savory gyro meat. Was a delicious wonderful place to eat! We got seated very quickly and served our drinks and appetizer quickly. The service was great, but they were so busy that the food took over an hour to receive. I have to say it was worth the wait. I got the macaroni and cheese with bacon topping, my husband got the lemon garlic chicken pasta. it was fantastic! plus it came with two slices of garlic bread. We have tried so many times to get here to eat. People told us how great it was and we could never catch them when they are open even during posted hours. Finally caught them tonight. BUT.... They weren't serving sandwiches or pasta!!!! I had wanted a meatball sandwich.... Hubby wanted pasta. Not tonight. Ordered a pizza. It came out BURNT!! And very watery in the middle. So watery that we had to eat it with a fork because we couldn't pick it up. See photo. Waitress set it down and said, "It's burnt. If you'd like us to make you another one we can." It was already closing time at that point and we were starving so we said, "No. We'll eat what we can." That pizza should have been comped. It was not good!! Pappo's is going in down the street. Not a bad take on pizza here in Camdenton, but not as good as I thought it would be, based on reviews. Flavorful, toasty chewy crust, check. Fresh ingredients, check. Marinara is well thought out and cheese finishing is good. Staff is courteous and can obviously handle a busy room. Sausage tasted way off. No spice, almost like hamburger. My server said it was sausage though. I didn't argue with her. The venue is classily decorated and your stay will likely be a good one. Writing a negative review is never my goal when visiting new restaurants, however, our experience was a rough one. We ordered the Greek and Alfredo pizza both on the hand tossed crust. We specifically asked many questions and stated multiple times that we did not want any meat on our Greek pizza to accommodate someone's dietary preferences within our party. We arrived around 5:45, ordered the garlic bread appetizer, and the rest of our 5 person party joined us at 6. We had ordered the rest of our meal at 6:15. We waited an hour and a half for the two pizzas to come out. The garlic bread did come out quickly and was good, we liked how buttery and garlicky the bread was in the melty cheese. When our pizzas had finally arrived, a quick bite into the Greek revealed that there was chicken on it. Thankfully this person had this preference and it was not an allergy, so while it was not ideal it was not dangerous situation. Our waitress was then informed and did not return until five minutes later, and asked if we wanted another pizza. The whole situation was handled poorly and no one took responsibility. The pizza was delicious, and that is the sole reason it's gets two stars because I would never recommend this restaurant. Maybe to-go would be better? This is a must try!! Not only is the pizza WONDERFUL, the owner is very friendly and you can tell he cares about his customers and employees! I love the insaladas (especially the Greek)! It is one of their tasty pizzas topped with a cool salad. My other favorite is their top nacho. It is hands down the best taco pizza I've ever had and it's huge. During covid this is a curbside establishment, while they have plans to grow the din in eating you should consider curbside... it is pizza but not just your average pizza a fresh crust with flavorful sauce and toppings that taste fresh and crisp. I got the combination the meats are delicious with large sausage that has the perfect Italian flavor. The vegetables taste fresh from the garden with a little crunch so you know it's good. The cheesy bread are large soft pieces with creamy melted cheese and pizza sauce for dipping. I can't wait to try the more unusual pizza toppings and I will be trying the wings they sound perfect for a night in or on the dock as we chose to take it back and enjoy the evening water. Needed a jacket!! Lots of empty tables but the hostess started to put us next to the salad bar and walkway to the second half of the building. When asked for a different table she took us into the second half and seated us next to the kitchen! After checking the menu my husband ordered a small pepperoni pizza but was told he had to order 3 toppings even though he only wanted a single. I ordered a rigatoni dish and the waitress said "Oh we're not serving pastas or sandwiches (1/2 the printed menu)! I asked what they were serving/ "pizzas and wings"! So I ordered wings/ didn't come with anything/ no celery, fries etc! When the wings were served they were overcooked and dried out! Terrible! Hubby said his pizza was good but felt it was way overpriced for the size! We stopped here because it'd been highly recommended by friends and was on our way home from a road trip! Not again!! We're local so while they've been closed my family has tried every other pizza place around the lake and nothing compares to Pepperoni Bill's. Not only is the pizza delicious but we also enjoy other items on the menu especially the salads and calzones. Everything on the menu is fresh and fabulous. Before temporarily closing due to Covid and construction to expand the restaurant, Pepperoni Bill's was always a great experience not only for the food but also the friendly staff and wonderful atmosphere. Great little dive joint! Very friendly folks and The PB deluxe on hand tossed crust was super delicious, the crust was cooked perfect. We also got a Greek Salad with Ranch that was also very good with what you could tell we're very fresh ingredients. Combine that with a Shock Top and that's a winner baby...... We watched some folks next to us get some sort of sandwich that looked great too. We have a lake house not far away and will return over and over when we're in town. My family vacations at the Lake of the Ozarks 3-4 times per year and we have made Pepperoni Bills a mandatory part of our trips each time. It is a small pizza joint in Camdenton MO that has great decor, friendly staff, and great food. We have tried a number of different items on the menu over the past few years, but we have settled on the Guy on a Buffalo, which is one of the best buffalo chicken pizzas I've ever had. They have a decent selection of brews and is just an overall great place.
