Meh...best food description. The fried chicken was good, nothing special. The entree selection was limited and the only red meat was taco meat. The carving was not opened, leaving the options to chicken nuggets, tacos, baked fish and spaghetti, all of which would have been better from home. The sausage and sauerkraut was ok, not something I would make at home. I guess you can order crab legs for an additional $20 per person. I didn't know this until we were done, but again probably better and cheaper at home. A very lack luster buffet. The shining star was our server. She was very attentive and friendly. The dining area was clean and standard buffet decor. Maybe breakfast would be better. There are too many other options for us to choose this for a dinner option again. read more

Service was awful. Food was disgusting. Pricing was awful and I do not recommend going here with family or friends if you want over priced buffet food that they over cook and season. On top of that the " Owner" came to my table and basically made a scene when I was simply ready to leave . She followed by trying to have me not make a yelp review. She also said people have different taste palettes ( mashed potatoes) were peppered extremely hard. I didn't make a scene I kept it to my self and yet she kept trying to justify me making my own review about the food or establishment. I was planning on leaving and not say a word and leave a yelp review after leaving but it seem to piss her off and instead of talking to us privately she took it upon herself and say something as we was about to leave . We've been there twice in the same week. We're locals and my wife finally felt safe enough to go out and eat. She follows the restaurant's FB page and wanted to try the food. Service was friendly and attentive, our food came out fast the first time, not so much the second time. The food was good, somewhat bland but thankfully, not overly salty. The first time we were there, my wife ordered the chicken fried steak and the server asked her if she wanted toast or a biscuit and gravy. My wife chose the biscuit and gravy and the server neglected to tell her it would be $2.50 extra. Really? Today she had a party melt and she was again charged extra for the crinkle fries. My french toast was delicious and my link sausage wasn't dry. We'll be back but will make sure that we REALLY chk out the prices! read more

Went here with a small group on a Sunday. We weee looking for a place we could go on a Sunday for a quick breakfast. They really have done a nice job renovating the old Golden Coral. Bonnie's is a spot that you do t have to wait. Tons of seating and they steer most people to the buffet. On the buffet it was hit or miss. My wife had a good made to order omelette, but myself and a few others had cold, sub par breakfast buffet food. Maybe if you order off their made to order menu it would be better, but the buffet was sub par. Was nice we didn't have to wait in line like many of the other breakfast joints - but kind of see why. Thought the price of the buffet was kind of spendy too for what was available. Best part for me was the protein options. read more

Stopped in for a late lunch/brunch around two p.m. Service was excellent. I had the bacon mushroom swiss burger with straight cut fries. My wife had the blueberry French toast with a side of bacon. Portions were more than generous for the prices (I brought nearly half my burger home, which is almost unheard of for me), the service was fast and friendly, and we left fatter and happier than when we walked in the door. Half a point off because the fries were limp and not crisp. So let's call it 4 1/2 stars. We will definitely be back. Can't wait to try the AYCE fried chicken on Thursdays. read more

My dad and I came for a late breakfast on a Thursday. Was exited to try this place based on other reviews. However, after waiting to be s greeted/seated for 5+ minutes we were sat at a table with a roll of paper towels for napkins, and across from a beyond filthy food area (food bar with dust and crusted food and filthy floors and cooler storing food and drinks, etc.). Pretty much every surface was the same. It led me to wonder what the kitchen looked like. I used the restrooms, which were also filthy (covered in dust, sticky floors, dirty walls, etc.). The food was served on a massive plate but the gravy and biscuits were bland and lukewarm and hash browns were undercooked. Water even tasted a bit off. Nothing to write home about. With all the great breakfast places in the area I'd recommend going elsewhere. Always love supporting a local place but this place is filthy! Surprised they pass inspection. Be careful. read more

Went there tonight for the chicken dinner special. We were seated in the back corner of the restaurant. We received our drinks relatively fast. Took about 15 minutes for the waitress to take our order. An hour and 10 minutes later, 3 drink refills in, people seated after us were getting their food. I flagged down three servers asking them about our order. I finally saw our waitress and went up to her letting her know the people she was serving food to were seated well after us and we still didn't have our food. I gave them 5 more minutes. People all around were getting served extra servings of food. We got up and left. Hands down, the worst service I've ever seen. I've never walked out of a restaurant before tonight. Poorly run! Never again! Stay clear unless you want to wait all night for food! Shameful! read more

we thought it was an amazing place to eat with good home cooked food, first was perfect no complaints, our second trip my husband got food poisoning, an was confirmed by local medical services. we haven't eaten anything prior or after visiting Bonnie's an 8 hours later it hit. First thing, there was Service WithOut a single Smiling Face. We asked for non-smoking seating. The waitress said "I've not he's d that request in awhile ". It was described as Egg cooked in the center of a piece of French Toast. I asked for medium cooked eggs. My eggs were less then over easy! . My hash browns were under cooked, and so was pieces of my bacon. They use plastic services wear, my food was not hot or even warm. Im an Advocte for Customer Service, and have worked in the medical field for Several years. This staff needs a visit from Gordon Ramsey. And their bathrooms need a thorough cleaning, from Stanley Steamers. Not Advertising here! Just stressing the importance of cleanliness & Customer Service during these Covid Times. First off the quarter machine ate my friends dollar and never received any quarter or his money back. The food was mid would personally rate it a 2/10. The biscuit and gravy was the only good thing here. My food came out 20 minutes after everyone else. Asked for a box to go and the waitress just never came back. My Mexican friend was being looked at like an exotic animal making him feel uneasy. Once it was time to pay it took another 20 minutes and the workers got mad that there was people blocking the path. Cracked out person was drooling while staring at my friend waiting in line which is just weird. The ambiance was like an old church having a reunion for elderly people. She loved the dumplings... and the catfish was great, hard to find catfish that taste fresh, but this was the best I have had in a long time !!
