We stopped into this hidden gem, and I'm so glad we did! I got a cinnamon roll, and let me tell you--it was the best cinnamon roll I've ever had. My husband had an iced chai latte, and I went with a hot London Fog--both were absolutely divine. The service was quick and friendly, and every employee had such great energy. The place itself is adorable, with the perfect cozy, aesthetic vibe. We're definitely coming back! read more

The homemade biscuits and gravy are the best I've ever had as are the sassy pancake choices and the omelets. You can get real butter if you ask and they don't serve icky "plastic" tasting cheese for their cheese choices. Fresh real food. No freezer to oven stuff. They also try to use organic and non-gmo as much as possible. They use filtered water for their drinks (espresso, coffee, tea) for better health and flavor. The atmosphere is eclectic and charming with mismatched everything and there's always something interesting to look at in their small flea market and gift shop. It's a wonderful special place with really yummy home cooked food! read more

My girlfriend and I found this great place to have breakfast. We felt like we were in their home and they were cooking us breakfast as friends they just had spend the night! I had a loaded sandwich with eggs and organic veggies on rye toast with orange juice. Now I'm satisfied and feeling energized for our hike through the Ozarks. The chef sat down with us and chatted with us about our trip and gave us ideas for places we should check out along the way. He seems like a really nice, well-spoken, down to earth type of guy. I'm glad we came across this cafe, and I'm happy there are still places like this that cook fresh food and have friendly, hometown atmospheres. read more

If you are in the area, you must try Vintage Market Cafe. I have just had the best pancake I have ever eaten. The chef specializes in pancakes and omelette, and it shows. Best breakfast place ever with the nicest people running things. Perfect cappuccino! read more

We offer a huge variety of coffee/espresso drinks, boba drinks, specialty teas and lemonades, energy drinks, fruit smoothies, dessert frappes and shakes. We also serve breakfast, lunch and homemade bakery items including sourdough bread, pastries and more. Our food is made with fresh ingredients. We love to be farm to table if we're able. History

Established in 2025.

This establishment was opened in 2015 as Vintage Market Cafe and was the very first Coffee Shop, Espresso Bar in Ellington, MO. It evolved from a coffee bar/bakery to a well-known breakfast cafe with a coffee bar. But when 2020 hit it closed down and the building sat for a few years. In late 2021, Christina Baker, the owner wasn't ready to reopen a restaurant and opted to open a coffee bar in another business (The Old Jefferson). She expanded her drink menu quite a bit from espresso drinks to dessert style frappes and shakes to boba drinks or Bubble tea. She also added her own version on energy tea using a variety of tea options with an plant energy additive. She found that her drink business grew exponentially during that time as she crafted her skills as a well-rounded barista. Fast forward to 2025. Christina had outgrown her spot at The Old Jefferson so she decided to reopen her business as The Joy-Full Cup.
