First let me say I have only eaten at a Frisch's 3 or 4 times in the 11 years I have been in the Cincinnati area. It just hasn't been at the top of my list of places to eat. Today was the first time in 5 years, I came in because my EAA chapter (airplanes) is now eating here since Pearls closed. I ordered an omelette with hash browns and toast. And I drank coffee. If the coffee had been better I would give them 5 stars. I was that happy with my meal and the service. There was about 20 people at our table and the one waitress handled it like a true pro, I only heard of one person didn't get the correct toast so not bad. Some even ordered lunch. So the cook staff obviously did their job well. My omelette was done perfectly the hash browns were not over cooked, and the toast was medium which is my happy temp. I even ordered a strawberry pie baby that was very tasty. The coffee on the other hand was not my favorite, it tasted burnt, so it was either cheap coffee or just not made well or both. Since I know that i will be back I will revise this if things get crazy bad. But I would say things are looking up for my Saturday breakfasts. read more

Ordered a Big Boy. Meat and bun were fine but it had hardly any tarter sauce/ shredded lettuce as in the past. Ordered a turkey club - big disappointment. In the past, the Club sandwich was on a fresh hoagie roll with wonderful sliced turkey cut from the breast. The current Turkey Club I got was on a burger bun with processed turkey. I will never order it again. My husband got the chicken tenders which he said were awful. I will say the fish sandwich wasn't too bad but, again, not as good as before the ownership changed. I am so sad that the Frisch's I knew and loved is no longer the place I will frequent. read more

Once again, the beer pretzel burger is phenomenal it brings tears to my eyes just thinking about it it makes my mouth water talking about it. You guys have to get over to Frisch's west Hamilton and get you one before there gone. Don't be fooled by the other guys trying to imitate. This is a classic bait and switch operation! You go through the drive up and the menu board have only one size milk shake on the board - medium for $3.89. The first time I ordered 2 shakes they told me $9 and something. When I got to the window I questioned them on the price and they said it was for a large. But you didn't advertise a large....so they charged me for the medium shakes. Next time still only one size on menu board - medium for $3.89. Now they want to charge $7.98. I questioned them on why the difference in price cashier was new so I asked to talk to a manager....took over 5 minutes then I heard the manager complain that the menu board had a typo.... What? I know Frisch's is a chain, and this one isn't really much different from any other, but we had a very positive experience here. The manager greeted us with a smile, which he maintained throughout our time there, including when he wished us well on our way out the door. Our server was pleasant and super patient, which is crucial when you roll in with three young kids (two high chairs and a booster seat, anyone?). Frisch's food is affordable and the portions are modest, and for us that's perfect. They have a terrific kids' menu and lots of options for sides. Dessert is tasty, too. If they sold beer, we'd eat here all the time! Ha! Seriously, we'll be back. read more

The vegetable soup was piping hot on this cold day. It was full of variety of tasty flavorful vegetables. The hash browns were soft and not crispy. Too much butter on the toast. The ranch dressing is good for salads. read more

Last year, I took the time to contact Frisch's management regarding quality issues at this location. I was promised that the quality problems would be addressed. However, it has been over one year....and I still experience the same quality issues.....especially at the drive thru. My last drive thru wait time was fifteen minutes. Food was cold and horrible. NO tartar sauce on Big Boy. Only one pickle. Brown lettuce. French fries over-cooked and very hard. Portions were a rip-off (I only got a half-cup of greasy chili and a quarter-cup of dry cole slaw). RIP OFF !!! Moreover, I was NOT even thanked for my order. FRISCH'S....YOU SHOULD BE ASHAMED !!!! DO YOU EVEN CARE ?? Remember....this criticism is coming from a former loyal customer who ate his first Big Boy in 1959. And now you have lost me forever. AGAIN, DO YOU EVEN CARE !!! read more

Good food but poor service and the place is very unclean. Repeatedly sent back utensils which still had food on them. Entire floor is sticky. Seats and pretty much every surface could use a good cleaning. This is not the first time we've had this experience there but it will be the last. Won't eat there again. read more

I would avoid the drive thru and just go inside because it took more than 10 mins to receive my meal. When I did receive my food; the French fries were cold and tasteless and my drink was watery. I don't know if my food was just sitting out but my food wasn't hot. read more

I worked at this location for a few years before i joined the military at 19. While "some" of the food is still good the standards are no where near what they use to be. Last time i ate here my waitress smelled like straight up body odor, and that was from 2-3 feet away. The manager should of told her to go home and take a shower and not come back until she smelled better. The salad bar had rotten lettuce on it and it looked like the bar hadn't been wiped down in several hours when it's suppose to be wiped down once an hour at minimum. Not good. Food was very poorly prepared. Milk shake was all milk, no ice cream. Fries were soggy gross. Sandwich was short on lettuce and sauce.
