What a great find in downtown Ferndale. They make some seriously good beer in a wide variety of styles. Of course I had to try a flight, which was a very reasonably priced four-pour sampler. Honestly I can't say I had a favorite as everything was great. The POG cider from Bellingham Cider was super smooth and fruity and the blackberry IPA was well balanced with a great berry aroma. Their Zappa Comet hazy IPA was also super smooth and not overly bitter and the Hive Brain honey rye cream ale on nitro was the definition of smooth. Our server was super friendly and knowledgeable, guiding us through the beer menu. No food here but we brought our own pizza and enjoyed lunch at their large outdoor seating area. I think they have food trucks that stop by on some days.

Cool, NW vibe up in Ferndale. Foods amazing from the WTF Food Truck outside. And the beer, cider and colabs' are bomb. Definitely need to visit!

Refreshing beer at FrinGe!

I was very pleased to see that Ferndale has a brewery! This was a new discovery for menon my last trip to the Bellingham area. Fringe is located in downtown Ferndale which is very cozy and quaint. There was a festival going on when I was here and I didn't want to get caught up with a crowd so I just stuck to visiting this brewery. I got a lighter beer, I believe it was the Sesh which was a Session beer and IPA. I was going to visit other breweries on my trip and wanted to start out light. The Sesh wasn't bad... it was not quite what I was expecting but still refreshing and proved to be a fine beverage on this late summer weekend trip.

I really like this place, beer and concept. The space is awesome too. When WTF or other food trucks are here, I give this place a 5 star. Unfortunately some days, no food. When I have good beers in need to get my grub on.

First actual brewery in Ferndale!!! (At least as far as I'm concerned). Had the summer ale and it Da Bomb! They have a food truck outside and lots of seating. It's about $5 a beer. Give em a try.

So comfortable, a great place to sit relax and not all of the beers! The variety of food makes it easy to have bit of food with your beers.

Tiffs brewery is worth the drive from Bellingham and rivals the best that B-Ham has to offer.

Yet another amazing Bellingham brewery! Lots of indoor and outdoor seating and family friendly with…read morea fun vibe. There are 2 locations, Old Town is much larger for seating than State St. and I am not sure if State St. has food. Fast and friendly service, especially for a pretty busy Saturday night. At Old Town the food is burger and a chicken sandwich. They are all delicious! Tasty potato chips too! The beer is delicious and spot on with several different varieties! Everyone in my group tried different beers and we all enjoyed them very much! I particularly liked the Edel, although Fvzz was delicious too!

When I heard they were opening a new location (with more seating & food!) I couldn't wait for the next visit!! My husband and I make several trips every year to Bellingham with the sole purpose of visiting Structures!! We typically spend 2 days hanging out at the taproom. The beer is top notch. Every time we visit, we come home with 2 cases of beer. Sure we can pick some up in Seattle, but we don't have ALLLL the options, or the quantity. Plus we like to support and buy at the source! Special TIP or HINT to Structures- Please make the corndog a standard on the menu!!! It is just too good!! I look forward to it every 4th of July, but would love to see it every time I visit! At least a weekend special, or EVERY holiday weekend? Structures you have my heart! Bellingham is lucky to have you!!

I saw they had BBQ, and the reviews seemed to rave about it, so we flung a U-ie and came here. IM SO GLAD WE DID. You walk in and order your food at the counter, then head next door (still inside the same building) to grab your beer. Tons of seating both inside and out. **St Louis ribs are only sold on Saturdays** FYI We got a flight of ciders and beers, and for food we got BBQ nachos, ribs, and I think my husband got a burger. My husband said his burger was good, BUT THESE RIBS, YALL. They stole the show. They were honestly the best ribs I've EVER had! So tender, and the dry rub was amazing. I highly suggest getting them dry and getting the BBQ sauce on the side. That way you can taste how good they really are before being drenched in their delicious BBQ sauce. As for the beers, I wanted to give a shout out to their Coconut Stout. I've had many coconut stouts that I want to be good, and they all fall flat. But this has been my favorite coconut stout of all time! You could taste the full flavor profile of the toasted coconut! It was incredible! I give this place a 10/10! We will definitely be back!!

District is a fave of mine in Mount Vernon, so I was eager to see if this Lynden location lived up to their og brewery. First, because you were probably wondering, YES they have the ahhhhmazing, thick-crust wood-fired pizza that District is known for. They also have the full District tap list, along with guest taps, plus cider, wine, and some NA options, too. The service was pretty friendly, too, and if you're a DB "frequent flyer" yes, your points transfer between locations. If you're looking for District beer, District pizza, District salads, and epic District wings, they've got you covered. Now, for the part that really didn't work for me: the atmosphere. It was really more like a family-friendly sports bar than chill brewery vibe. This surprised me, as (at least last time I was there!) the MV location doesn't have giant flatscreens in every room blaring the big game loudly over the sound of your pizza. I mean, if I was looking to watch a game this would be a great place to go. But I wasn't. And being as it was a quiet Sunday afternoon with literally nobody else in the place...the loud games really detracted from the whole experience. Speaking of sports, if you're a follower of local HS sports you'll love the north county-centric sports memorabilia around the restaurant! From cheerleader uniforms to football helmets, it was really eclectic and cool to see so many local youth sports stars being remembered in such a fun way. But it was still darn loud in there. Good pizza, though!
