I received a sweet tea to go. I take the wrapper off of the straw and sip the sweet tea only to feel a string in my mouth. I stop sipping and take the straw out of my mouth and there is a huge blonde hair coming out of my straw. Wtf, i guess hair nets and clean/sanitary working areas are a thing of the past. Terrible food. Like it's from the frozen section at Costco. Nothing is fresh and bad flavors all together. Service is a bunch of kids. I wish Dacula would bring in better restaurants. Garbage. Never going back. I use to like this place a lot and would go 2-3 times a week for lunch in 2011 & 2012. I even posted a 5 star review about it in 2012 (that I've now deleted), but I am completely DONE with this place. I don't write reviews until I've had multiple bad visits because I know everybody can have a bad day, but now after 4 consecutive let downs I'm done. The food is no longer good, the servers are TERRIBLE, and it's not worth what you pay. I went tonight and ordered the same stuff I always used to get and I basically felt like I was chewing on blocks of salt. Nothing tasted the same. I asked 4 times for a Sweet Tea to which the waitress kept forgetting because she was too focused on closing & getting outta there than helping me out. The list goes on. The previous bad visits have been a combination of bad service and mediocre food. I've noticed the parking lot for this place has dwindled down a lot and not nearly as many people are there during lunch time. Now I see why. I'm done! read more

Just came back to Friends since I posted my last review. Today is April 16 at 3:20 pm I was planning on ordering something to eat but after sitting at the bar and listening to foul mouth guys use the F word, and of course other stuff, but that other stuff is expected at bars, but not mother F this and that. I live nearby, and I try this place every six months or so, and then I remember why I don't eat there more often. The food is blah, and I've never had good service. My wife and I argued about eating here last time, and I told her we should give them another chance. On our way to our table, the hostess dropped the silverware wrapped in a napkin, then she sat it on the table. When I asked for clean silverware, she quipped "they're wrapped up, they didn't touch the floor." I responded "maybe they did, maybe they didnt, but why take the chance, and I'm pretty sure you're forgetting that the silverware is wrapped in a napkin you expect me to use." My mom and I used to frequent Friends a few years ago. They're a standard sports bar with typical sports bar offerings plus some. However the plus some is just okay. I will admit that their fish tacos are pretty delicious. They've expanded and changed the menu since 2012-2013, which was when I was more of a regular. If placing a to go order, it can be hard to get in and out due to all the Dacula crowds, no matter the night. read more

I really like this place. I've had a bunch of stuff from the menu, and no complaints....the bacon cheeseburger is really good, fried fish is really good and the portion is huge - only local place I'll eat it, queso's are good, prime rib is good and big - I'm hungry writing this! They have a kids menu too and live music on certain evenings. The owners are really involved in the business and really care about the quality of food and the service. Would definitely recommend for a family, or evening out with the girls or hubby that's a casual fun evening. read more

The good...fries are good, chips are fresh, ranch is tasty and my kids love the lemon pepper wings...The atmosphere good for hanging with friends or chilling out with the family. They have a big game room for the kids and tons of TV's for the sports fans. The bad...new waitress or bad not sure but she didn't want to be there. Not unfriendly just whatever mode...It wasn't comfortable. It felt like I was bothering her when asking her for a straw, extra sauce (never got after 3 asks)....it did seem like the rest of the staff was having fun in the kitchen area. Lots of chatter....All good, they weren't that busy. The ugly...The Fish and Chips were awful. Just the fish actually. It was fried so hard I had to use a steak knife to cut the "batter". I ended up eating just the inside, that was good. I made a comment to the waitress about the over-cooked batter as she took the plate. She comes back a few minutes later to state..."I asked the other waitresses and that is just how it is. They don't like it either." Friend without benefits!!! Do not believe the shockingly positive reviews on this site. These folks' mothers must have never fed them a proper, hot meal! There's not much to like here. First, it has a Chucky Cheese feel as you enter. Stuffed animal grab game, multiple candy dispensers, and loud arcade of sorts. Yuck. Food is bar quality at absolute best. We had chili cheese fries, with poor chili and fake cheese. Sadly, this ended up being best we ate. Buffalo tenders were spicy, but with no flavor, just overlooked/dry. Cajun pasta not good either. This, plus 2 beers, was $40 before tip. The only positive was the staff, several very nice kids that all deserve to work elsewhere. Not sure what the owners are going for. It's a cross between a sports bar and a daycare. I would say this a viable option if you want to allow kids to run wild in a bar, while you eat substandard bar fare. What a disappointment. read more

My husband and I took our 2 kids (5 & 6 yr old) to this restaurant. Bad judgement call. We were seated by the hostess and waited for 10 minutes to see if anyone would come to take our drink order or even say "Hi," but no one came. My husband even started his timer on his phone to see how long we were waiting. We saw other servers standing by but they weren't our server apparently. The kids were starving and my final straw was when I saw another family of 4 get seated and their drink orders were taken immediately. They deserve a zero rating because 1 star is too generous! I like the owners and this really is an overall good place. But, it suffers an identity crisis. When you got to eat with your family, it can be a little too bar like. When you got to visit the bar, it can be a little too family friendly. I hate their band choices, way too much thrashing young kid rock. Get a dude that sits on a stool and sings crap people older than 25 might recognize or like. After 9, it should be lights down, jukebox on (which they don't have), and kids out! Lastly, no karaoke any nights?!?!? Really? This has the potential to be the best place in town, that's why I am so critical I guess. We need a place around here that is a bar at night. read more

My wife and I love friends. We come to eat here all the time. My one year old daughter even loves it here. She loves the friendly servers that talk to her and everyone is always nice. The food is also great! We are lucky enough to live within driving distance of the dacula friends. We also visit the one in winder and last weekend when we went to the north georgia outlet mall we stopped to eat at the friends out there as well. We are a big fan and reccomend them to all of our friends and family members. Kids eat free on Monday nights and you can't beat the $5 cheeseburger and fries on Tuesday! Wow,what a dump!!! The black and red interior paint scheme is that out of a 1970s vampire movie! Susan,whom I believe may be the owner has no real taste when it comes to her sense of looking clean and professional , hence the unpleasant view of her BUTT CRACK among the customers! And then how she treats her employees, which is absolutely unacceptable and I am surprised that she can even keep the employees that are doing good for her restaurant , which as I noticed are only a few and the more mature of age. She could definitely take a few pointers from those whom DON'T CURSE and use foul language in the presence of the customers. These events took place during a LATE SAINT PATTY'S DAY CELEBRATION ,which by the way was a week after the actual holiday? What was that about anyways! Last night my fiancé and I came here for dinner. He had the hot wings and I ate the Cajun chicken pasta! We were pleased with both of our meals! The atmosphere was neat, and our server Tony was very attentive to our needs! It's also not often that we go to a restaurant and the manager goes out of his way to be friendly and make sure we are satisfied with our experience! I was coming out of the restroom when he introduced himself to my fiancé, and my fiancé is terrible at names but he was wearing a Texas hat and had a beard!
