From the second we entered the restaurant we could loudly hear the bartender(which we later found out was the manager) slandering her employees. With the ambient music of heavy metal blaring from the kitchen in the background we were told they would be cleaning under all of the booths and it was going to get noisy. The bartender continued to harass the employees and reject customers from ordering TO-GO. Followed up with our cards being charged for the wrong amount. Our server was a sweet girl but the manager should have visited our table at least once during this "show." However, we didn't expect the manager to visit us after she had just blatantly chewed out the server for telling another employee to please clean her booths. Bar rescue candidate for sure. read more

Oh Em Gee - mashed potatoes on steroids! Need I say more? The menu is kicked up bar food with a twist. Yes, the wings are great, the beer is plentiful and cold, but the food is flat out cool! Killer sandwiches, but the appetizers and inventions totally override the menu: mashed potatoes (yes, back to those) with bacon, chicken, broccoli and an insane amount of butter and sour cream or tater tots with chili and queso. I've eaten here before and the experience was good. The staff was friendly and seemed to know what's going on. Food was hot and good for this type grill. The second visit is a little different. First, the servers are clueless and seem to be haphazardly walking around as if looking for guidance. Well, the two boys were anyway. Not sure if they really were servers - maybe they were bartenders or kitchen staff but training would really help them. This little joint seems to do well in spite of itself. I didn't think they were open since the sign does not light up. But we went in starving after fighting the Christmas mobs shopping. The food was good. The drinks were good. And our waitress was always ahead of the game and took our orders without any mistakes. I gave them 3 out of 5 stars. Just dined at this location, so where should I begin! We arrived at the location to their marquee flashing B10G10 Wings! We were excited and thinking wow, this is nice for a restaurant to have an After-Thanksgiving Day special on our fav, WINGS! We made our way inside and sat at the bar! We asked our waitress if the wing special was still going on because it read from 5-10pm. She said let her ask the manager, Kenny. She hunted him down only for him to loudly say, "no I can't honor that because it's a Wednesday only special". Today is Friday might I add. He never came to our table and explained or apologized for his mishap. Our drinks weren't top notch like Heather, the fun bartender, made them before. Just moved to the area and thought we would try what looked to be like a local little hot spot... unfortunately it's a local little grease trap. we ordered fried pickles, that are clearly pre breaded and frozen... and were soggy little grease sponges. I had medium wings that had more grease than wing sauce flavor, the onion rings also frozen pre breaded and left to steam and turn mushy. My boyfriends burger was nothing to write home about unless it is to say don't come here again. Sorry friends, but for $35 I got grease and a garbage can full of soggy mushy food. After driving by Friends Sports Grill many different times, last year we finally decided to stop in and grab some lunch and finally found a new local restaurant to call one of our favorites. Friends Sports Grill, formally Friends Sports Bar and Grill changed their name to be more family friendly to the community. Ray and Suzanne owners of Friends Sports Grill are big into supporting the community and offer friendly service to all who come in. Their menu is full of many great choices, they offer inexpensive lunch specials during the week and Kids eat free on Sundays with purchase of an adult meal. Their weekly evening specials include: Monday all you can eat Boneless chicken bites and fries, Tuesday Karaoke, Wednesday All you can eat wings, just to name a few. Friends Sports Grill isn't your typical sports bar, their food is far better quality then you will find at a typical sports bar. Burgers are fresh and tasty; our favorites include the Gooey Louie (stuffed cheeseburger oozing with cheese) and the Bacon Bacon cheeseburger. The best buffalo shrimp in the area, steaks are hand cut and beat many of the local steakhouses. The onion rings are by far my favorite. Went back for the last 3 months and things have really improved. No more issues with showing up at 10 (personally verified!), food quality is constant, staff is still good (but depends on who it is and the day it is, of course - no one's perfect!). We don't drink so I can't comment on that end but the food and staff rocked it late night. If you do have an issue, mention it - the owner is very responsive and awesome as well! PS - this is the only place to get a good monte cristo, other places advertise it but they're all fakes you can make at home with a sandwich press and some powdered sugar. Almost empty restaurant and I am placed right by the toilets and kitchen. Watched staff by the bar talking before someone from the back came to seat me. No recommendations or anything. Just, "Are you ready to order?" No... walk away for ten minutes. Bartender shouldn't be dancing around like we in the club. Couldn't chew the bacon in my loaded potatoes. It stabbed me in the gums. BFB was good. One of the cooks came out to address my bacon issue. He was polite and said he would make me another. That nice man is the only reason for two stars. read more

The staff are nice and quick. Food is average for a pub. It's supposed to specialize in burgers but they use nasty movie theatre nacho cheese on them but I believe they're taking that off the menu as it's not good. We order wings and a salad with blue cheese for both. The waitress brings out a watery white substance along with our food. It was so bad that when I put my fork in the blue cheese and lifted it out, all that stayed on my fork was small chunks of blue cheese. It literally poured out like water. Problem #2, the manager comes over, admits that it has been that way all day, then says he's going to continue serving it because, I guess, he can't think of how to deal with it. My husband and I Went to eat dinner here tonight. We were worried they might have too many ppl there because parking lot seemed crowded but then we looked it actually wasn't too busy. We were glad to see the workers actually wearing mask. Until our waitress came up. The full time we were in the place every table she went to her mask was down below her chin. Why she even bothered having it on at all I don't know. Another employee in a gray shirt telling people what to do the full time had her mask below her nose the full time. Do your employees not have a clue how to wear masks correctly? We eat out constantly. This is beyond ridiculous. We see employees at other restaurants pull them down for a min. Then back up. Not at your establishment. We won't be back for a while until this virus is gone. read more

I hate writing this, because I love Friends (both Suwanee and Dacula), but tonight was literally insane. We sat at the bar, food was good as always, and our bartender was nice and attentive. I can't remember her name, but she was blonde with bright red tips. Me and a friend just came for dinner and few beers, but clearly there were other patrons who decided to have a few more drinks than maybe they needed. I guess the other male bartender (Cedric maybe?) was his friend so perhaps he was over served. This gentleman came and introduced himself to us (all fine and good I love meeting new people), but we were trying to eat and just relax. He was talking very loudly, very much in my personal space where we couldn't even finish our food and asked for our check and to go box. I won't go into detail, but because my friend wouldn't engage with his obviously drunken and loud behavior that angered him and he started to spit insults where all we had been was patient and nice to him. I asked him to please leave us alone, and thankfully our female bartender had had about enough of him and asked him to leave us alone as well. I just wish his male bartender friend would have also stood up for us, especially when the drunken patron called me a liar and started yelling curse words throughout a restaurant with families present. We left, and he did not. I truly hope that situation was handled, and he will not be allowed to continue to treat good and good TIPPING customers like trash because we don't want to coddle a belligerent man on a Thursday at 8pm. We would have stayed longer. I really don't think I can come back to this location. I've never experienced anything like that before. read more

We were not greeted when we arrived and we stood at the host area several minutes before the manager stumbled upon us and ran to clear us a table. They were not busy, but no server came to take our order. After we finally flagged down a server, she never brought the drinks or the appetizers. I got up to go and get the manager, who is standing behind the counter with hanging out with 3 servers, and he tells me, "just a sec, I'll be over there". We left with out even eating. They clearly know nothing about customer experience or service. It was our first time and our last. Horrible service. Left and found a great place 2 minutes away!!!
