Riding over the ridge it seemed like forever since we had seen a place we could find family friendly food. Nestled in a plaza, the familiar Friendly's was a welcome sight. This little spot had room at the Inn and although bustling had enough seats an entire team could have fit. Our server, Emma was amazing. The food was ok. Nothing to write home about but we were in and out in a jiffy.

Corner room with windows on sides is good seating!

Another hit or miss location here. Old standards such as hamburgers, soup, and salad are wise choices for the price and quality. Of course, Friendly's is best for ice cream. Save some appetite for an ice cream sundae that's always a treat for all ages. Service is very good. The location is perfect following VA appointments. I love having an old favorite!

Friendly's has always been one of my favorite regional chains; growing up I ate at quite a few in Pennsylvania. My main one was in Palmyra, but I frequented this location and the one in Hershey. As Friendly's hit hard times, they closed many of their locations; I was happy at least this one stayed open in the area. I recently came back here due to having coupons. My mother, grandmother, and I had lunch on a weekday. The restaurant was not busy and the staff was attentive and friendly. Friendly's is located along Quentin Road south of Lebanon. It's in an area filled with restaurants and local shopping options. The area isn't doing as well, but this location still seemed happy. The restaurant stands alone in its own colorful building. The dining room isn't large, but has comfortable tables, high tops, and booths. We sat near the window; it was nice to be in the sun on a cold day. Everything was clean, including the restrooms. The menu has gotten larger and more unique since last I've eaten here. I tried one of their specialty burgers and loved how it was cooked and tasted- everything was fresh and crisp. The fries were thin cut and yummy. I was thrilled with their strong and delicious fresh brewed iced tea. Of course eating you, you have to have their ice cream! They have countless options. I opted for the peanut butter and chocolate mix; it was so sweet and good. Be sure to check for coupons and other offers. It's a great place to come with kids or families.

I really try to like the food bc I like the ice cream so much. Sadly it's not working. TV dinners would be an improvement. Exceeding salty. The turkey is brown. I've never seen brown turkey before. Corn is tasteless. Consistently The worst French fries anywhere. How does that get messed up? Real huge bummer. On the bright side the employees are great. I come here for the ice cream and have consistently had great service. It's clean to.

    chocolate milk

the food wasn't very good. they put lettuce under our fries. they also failed to make chocolate milk. the waiter was sassy and in a mood, she also forgot our ice cream flavors. not to mention the water tasted like tap water. the only good thing about this experience was the ice cream.

chocolate milk, one was 90% milk and one was 90% syrup.

A real…read morefire crackled in the stone fireplace in the lounge, and we were ushered into a charming stone dining room that felt like stepping back in time. The building itself clearly carries history -- I actually had to duck slightly to pass through the low stone archway leading to our table. It added to the character and intimacy of the space. We started with the tuna tartare, which was a standout. I'm "that aunt" in the family -- the one who encourages the kids to try new things -- and this dinner was my monthly outing with my nephew. So yes, raw tuna hit the table. It turned out to be the perfect introduction. Fresh, beautifully prepared, and approachable, it made trying something new feel effortless. A total win. He ordered chicken nuggets, and while that might sound simple, they were clearly house-made, fresh-cut, and thoughtfully prepared. For chicken nuggets, they were excellent. My scallops, unfortunately, didn't quite land for me. The accompanying preparation felt overly complex and ended up overpowering the natural delicacy of the scallops. That said, the menu offers plenty of other intriguing options, and I'd absolutely return to explore more. Service throughout the evening was kind, attentive, and prompt -- exactly what you hope for during a relaxed dinner out. Overall, a warm, character-filled spot with standout starters and welcoming staff. Looking forward to the next visit.

If you look at the side salad from before ( within a year) it was bigger. You get charged if you want to substitute instead of chips but Tiny Tim wouldn't be satisfied with that side salad. And to piggy back on that my "large" house salad with added grilled chicken was the same portion as that tiny side salad but with a grilled chicken with it. Look at the older photos and you can see the difference on the side salad. Like I know they buy premade salad. Add a little more at least to the "large" salad. The crab cake looked about the same as the other and still tasted good to my husband. So they still charge you the full price of a side salad to substitute and just add it in the price. So it would be easier to get a salad on the side and get what they give you. We are spending our money to dine at least make it worth it. The last 4 pictures show our charges. Our waitress was nice and the food is good but not for those prices. Shame on you bluebird for the salad portions and not letting patrons know there isn't a discount on substituting your sides.

On a recent trip home, I finally made an effort to get here and had the best time. This is the new iteration of Lebanon's original brewery from the 1800s. The building is the same, and history is forefront with a great timeline on the entry wall. Even if you aren't into beer, it's worth a visit just to step back in time. I love all the brick buildings and side buildings; clearly this was a busy place. The new brewery is slowly using the space for different things, and I look forward to seeing how it grows and changes in the future. They have outdoor seating, lots of parking, and overflow parking, which are great for large groups especially during the warm months. I went with my dad and best friend; I had arranged to meet with brewer and co-owner Mike and was immediately greeted warmly by the bar staff. It was a sunny afternoon so we sat at the bar by a window and tried every beer! It was so much fun to go through the styles, some of which are taken from original recipes. They have a full food menu too, but we didn't try anything that day. They also have lots of dining tables in the main room. The brewing equipment is gleaming copper along the one wall, but it's misleading because it all goes down to the giant basement and production area. Mike kindly gave us a personal tour after our beer and showed us all the equipment, historical points with fun stories, plus the bottling room and their fun bottle caps. Beer quality is great, they have many cores and some limiteds on a rolling basis. Prices are reasonable as well. Beer is available chilled at the door to-go as well. If you're a beer fan, or interested in Lebanon Valley history, this is a must visit brewery!

I was so thankful for the friendliness and responsiveness of the owners and set it to meet my family here. It exceeded expectations and is a great place in general to come with friends. Located in an old grocery store, the restaurant and beer bar is completely new. The main area has various sized tables and a few bar seats at the back. Everyone orders at the counter, so separate tabs are fine. They have a great draft beer selection, other drinks, and a fun food menu of smash burgers and cheesesteaks. I ordered the spicy cheesesteak and it was one of my favorite meals of the trip; prices are reasonable for the large portion size, you can easily share one. The bartenders were all welcoming and friendly, everyone working served whoever came up so it was efficient. To the left are refrigerators with packaged beer to go. Behind those are a hallway to the restrooms with mostly macro beers to be enjoyed at the location. This also leads to a really fun game room with pool, darts, pinball, and arcade games. I'd say my favorite part is the refrigerator to the right of the bar, which has all single cans and bottles to be enjoyed on premises. They have an amazing selection of local and regional craft beer, cans are super fresh. I personally had a bunch of very fresh Trillium, which is an excellent brewery I can't get at home. Overall, if you're a beer fan in the Lebanon area and looking for a bottle shop or fun place to hang out, this is it.
