Friendly's 1995 vs. Friendly's 2023. Total Apples vs. oranges. Totally gone down hill but the ice cream is still great! It's not about the food, it's the environment- aka the facilities. Last year, the bathroom just smelt and I don't mean like let's air if out for a few minutes like constant made me want to vomit! The Friendlys I knew as a kid and a teenager was clean (not squeaky) but taken care of. This place had one table covered in personal belongings and all kinds of reports and such. I watched an employee sit down at said table and have a meal. Now I am not opposed to employees having meals with patrons, it's about one table begin dedicated to being the restaurant office. I also noticed a few holes in the back wall. Made me even question was there a camera in one of the holes? The light fixtures- layers of dust on the inside which patrons can see. This place needs an overhaul. The Honey BBQ patty melt- always delicious in my book (hey I grew up on them!) And I can't tell a lie- the peanut butter topping at Friendly's is the BEST!

Waffle fries with lots of cheese!!!

Friendly's is a classic and it's sad that so many have closed over the years. Luckily this location in Attleboro is pretty close for me. The food is always good and the ice cream is amazing. I'd say it's the best ice cream of any chain places. Even tho we don't come super often Wendy the waitress remembers us everytime. She knows where we like to sit and honestly even most of our order. She is an A++++ waitress!' The only negative about Friendly's would be the same as any similar place. Sadly spots like this have gotten more and more expensive making it harder to come as often as before.

If they keep up the strange tactics with seating and high prices, they're probably going to have difficulty staying in business. They had 4 servers on and we requested a booth near the window because all the other booths were occupied except for a dirty booth. So they offered us a table and we declined. They outright refused to allow us to sit in a booth near the window. It certainly wasn't due to staffing, just being difficult apparently. The food was the same as usual except the burgers went up 50%. They should act more friendly like their name implies. After we took another booth that was cleaned off in the crowded section they started seating people in the booths by the window!

Hmm that's supposedly their French dip burger like wtf?

The prices are fair and their reward program rocks....I get so many offers that are so good that make me go back to the restaurant often for a meal. This last time I got my favorite nachos. No sour cream, no guac, no chicken. Just some nice oven baked chips with delicious vegetable toppings. The plate was huge and everything tasted fresh and not "from a can". Great service, great food.

My primary goal (pun intended) was to watch a world cup game while eating some good food and I got…read morejust that. I dragged my friend along with me. There were a couple empty seats at the bar, some of which seemed suspiciously untouched and we soon realized why; the AC was blasting overheard and although it felt nice in the beginning since it was HOT outside, after 10 minutes it felt frigid. We stayed there anyways since there was a huge TV right in front of us. I wasn't sure what to order, but the chicken and burrata sandwich sounded really good, mostly because of the sweet, salty, and creamy contrast. I ended up ordering it and upgraded my fries to parmesan fries. My friend ordered a burger with sweet potato fries. After about 15 minutes, the food came out. I knew the chicken would be grilled since I asked before ordering so my expectations were low, but it was surprisingly still moist, did taste grilled, but lacked some seasoning. I did not open the sandwich to check how much burrata there was, but adding some more would not have hurt. The fig jam was definitely the star of the show. It overpowered some of the other flavors, but I didn't mind. The caramelized onions might've also contributed to the sweetness; they were soft and good. I was glad they did not add too much arugula since it can get bitter. The ciabatta was a good choice of bread for this sandwich, and it came lightly toasted. I did not taste much of the garlic. The fries were good. They were like regular fries, but with some parmesan cheese sprinkled on top and a parmesan dipping sauce. I also ordered some secret sauce for my fries because I went down a Reddit rabbit hole and was compelled to try it. I was not impressed and it indeed tasted a lot like ketchup and mayo, with maybe a couple other things. We stayed for the full match including overtime. Thankfully it wasn't busy enough where I felt they would kick us out for taking up chairs for too long. Our waitress was great.

The service was fast and friendly/personable. Ordered the crispy jalapeño burger. The burger and fries were great. The pretzel appetizer paired great as well.
