Before arriving, Adrian called to give me his ETA and arrived at that time. He put on shoe covers before entering the house. We just signed a contract with these folks. They offer the continuous all inclusive service, annual contract, which is what we were after. They offer indoor and outdoor which only makes sense. The prices are reasonable. Scheduling for them includes the needs of the occupants of the home. They answer their own telephone, it does not go to some national call center, which is what we dealt with for the previous year with another company. One of the toughest things to admit is when you have an infestation; especially when you keep a clean house. I have a townhome that backs up to a wooded area so it should not be a surprise. My next-door neighbor, having the same problem had contracted Friendly to help solve her problem, we followed suit and had them do our home as well. Dave, our service technician, could not be nicer nor more professional. He identified and treated the problem areas and laid out monitoring strips to assess the effectiveness. He then came back every two weeks to follow up and re-apply, we really appreciated the service and feel we received much more care than we paid for, but really, these guys are building relationships and that is how these things should work. The infestation? I'm really pleased to say it is under control. Dave did it by applying pet-safe stuff, and a little relentlessness. we could not be more pleased. We've had a larger, national chain for a year or so and the service was spotty at best. I wanted to support local, but also make sure we never see any bugs, especially because my wife is terrified of spiders. Elvis (tech) showed up 2 weeks ago and started by asking me questions about our concerns and what our experience was like prior to them. He listened and was understanding. We had our 2 week follow up yesterday and Elvis got to meet my wife. I was on a conference call (work from home) so I stepped away to my office, however, could hear him and my wife talking and recognized and appreciated him listening to my wife and assuring her of the measures being taken to ensure no spiders will come into our house. I cannot say enough great things about this company! After dealing with two months of a flea infestation in the outside yard (landlord refused to take care of it properly, ugh!), I started seeing the little guys hop on me inside my apartment. Despite taking precautions inside my home and with my pup, fleas had gotten inside. As soon as I noticed the problem, I called Friendly Pest Solutions. Their receptionist spoke to me as if she had known me for years and listened carefully to my concerns and the entirety of my problem. Two hours later, I had Moe in my apartment listening and looking around. He explained everything clearly to me and set an appointment up for the following day. In 24 hours, I had someone in my apartment to look and then a technician to come in and spray. My technician (so sorry, forgot his name!) was amazing and talked me through the entire process while he was working. He also spoke to me with respect and as if we were friends for years. He was even kind enough to spray outside of my apartment, as he thought the fleas were coming in from a carpeted area outside. This company has gone above and beyond in 24 hours. I was ready to have a complete breakdown after trying to get my landlord to deal with the outside flea problem and to find them in my own home was a complete nightmare. Not to mention that I have a small pup who was going crazy with biting and scratching himself!
