Best place on the North Shore!…read more Walking into Coco you can tell your experience will be different than your usual nail place. Every detail was well thought out and it is truly a relaxing place! I had gone to Erica the owner for years at her previous nail salon and followed her when she opened Coco. We have hosted a bridal mani- pedi party there and were thrilled that everyone loved their services and raved about the surroundings! They could not have been more wonderful! This is extremely unfortunate that I have to update my review and no longer support this business…read more I have been a REGULAR customer at Crystal Nails for the last 7 years! I've brought MULTIPLE people who have become customers to this place. The owner knows my entire family! But the way I was treated recently was truly disrespectful. For my birthday, I made an appointment for two pedicures for me and my daughter. I needed the appointment to be mid-afternoon, but the owner pushed for me to take a 4:45 appointment. As the day progressed and I was preparing for my event in the evening, the appointment time was cutting it way too close so I had to call and cancel. After I told the owner I had to cancel SHE HUNG UP ON ME!! I called 30 minutes before my scheduled appointment time to cancel. Is it an inconvenience to the business? Sure, I can understand there is an impact to a schedule change. However, to treat me- a regular customer, who has brought you lots of business- so rudely to hang up on me?? And she has my number to call me back if it was an accident, she didn't call back. I'm still astonished at this treatment. It's really a shame because now I need to take my business elsewhere. I will say that Lisa who works there is extremely talented, gives the best foot massages, and the best service in the entire place. You know in February I let it slide when I came to get a pedicure on a day that I was extremely stressed out, with my arm in a sling, and the owner and one of the older women working there made sarcastic comments about me being a few minutes late. They were not, and never were, packed to the gills with customers. Lisa was the only person who saw the stress on my face and comforted me when I burst into tears. I even was willing to come back after that! But never again. That treatment towards me was extremely unkind and I didn't deserve that. No one does.

I usually don't leave reviews but this honestly bothered me…read more I walked in because the door says they accept walk-ins. When I got there, there were like 3 or 4 workers just sitting and only one client, so it didn't look busy at all. But the moment I walked in, the way they looked at me already felt kind of off. I asked for a simple manicure, nothing crazy, just my natural nails. And they straight up told me "we don't do that." Which... confused me because it's literally a nail salon. I even showed them my nails and explained again, like no acrylics, nothing extra. Then they switched it to "we don't have time." That didn't make sense at all. They weren't busy and it was still early, they close later. The whole thing just felt weird and honestly rude. I don't like throwing this word around, but it really felt like I was being treated differently for no reason. I left feeling uncomfortable and kind of offended. I ended up going to Sofia Nail Salon right next door and they took me right away and were super nice, so I would definitely recommend going there instead. Just didn't feel welcoming at all here.
