Came here with my almost 4yo daughter to get some Mommy and me time, and it was overall a good spot to go for the purpose. Only one of the ladies was really good with her though, so I'm glad that she got her to do her nails. Her nails ended up being more expensive because I chose the non-toxic nail polish for her instead of the standard polish, which I would've thought would be included, since you'd only want non-toxic for a child? So it was $15 for a manicure vs the advertised $10. My standard pedicure was $40, and didn't include anything special. So all in all, it's in a convenient location in downtown Wilmette, surrounded by cafes and restaurants, relatively easy parking, about the same price as other places, but just wasn't amazing in terms of cleanliness, comfort, or friendliness. read more

I am so disappointed that I have to write this review, however I have no choice. This level of butchering is unacceptable and dangerous. I am left hoping I don't develop an infection. Not only are my nail beds exposed but my cuticles and still bleeding. read more

Went with a friend after brunch down the street, so it was very convenient. However, neither of our feet were massaged at all! It was the fastest pedicure ever. I was looking so forward to it because I was 36 weeks pregnant at the time with swollen feet and legs. Didn't even offer to help with my things/shoes. I like the ambiance here but pretty unhappy with my manicure. I get dip manicures with tips and they usually last 3-4 weeks from other salons. Within two days, one of my nails had broken off. I went back to get it fixed and the woman realized the tech who did my nails made them way too thin. She put another coat on top to help strengthen them even though i told her I didn't think that would be sufficient. Fast forward 4 days, two of my other nails have now broken off. I don't have time to go deal with my fingernails three times in 8 days. Really unhappy and won't be going back. read more

They usually do a good job on my nails - I am very simple, just regular pedicures and occasional manicures. The salon is clean and pleasant and very nicely located. But it's uncomfortable because no one except the receptionist and sometimes the owner, really talks to you. I don't feel like my business is valued sometimes, because the tech doesn't even say you're finished or "thank you," or anything. One time, I had people literally cleaning all around me, I guess trying to get me to leave? It would just be nice if there was a little more courtesy or kindness expressed. I am always polite and would like to be treated that way, too. Not asking for much! read more

Obsessed with this adorable new nail salon. The place is decorated perfectly, super clean and the perfect set up to respect all the new sterilization and social distancing policies. Everyone working here is super friendly, talented and professional. There's a great selection of regular polish, gel polish and dip. Both myself and my daughter got pedicures, while she choose a gel manicure and I tried dip for the first time. I absolutely love the outcome, and my nail tech Angela was phenomenal. My last visit, I was coming off jet lag as I just returned from a trip. I chose a color of polish that I was unsure about, but went forward because my nail polish was chipped, etc. Salons offer a color change to clients if for some reason the client wants one. Before I left, I asked what the charge would be (It's usually $15 less than a regular manicure. It would be $20 in this case. Only polish is removed and reapplied. Cuticles are not worked on, nails are not trimmed or filed.) The manicurists said $20 dollars. The manager said $30. This is a $5 reduction. Very unfriendly business decision. This is a service business. So, the soaking of both hands, cuticles being shaped, nails being trimmed and filed, hand cream being applied is worth $5. My guess is the manager saw me as a chiseler that wanted a second manicure for $15 less. The cuticles get so raggedy without the full service, not returning within the regular time--2 weeks--from the first service with the original polish is not a win aesthetics-wise. I guess do-overs are not encouraged at this salon. read more

I came in for a mani/pedi wanting to try a new place. Unfortunately it was met with lack of colors being available and a rushed experience. The no chip that was on previously was not fully taken off and you can still see some of the color on my nails from before. The manicure was uneven and splotchy and not applied correctly. You can even see the light through some of my nails on the darker colors! The WORST part is that the manicurist filed my strong nails so poorly that it has totally ripped off within 24 hours. My nails still feel tacky and as if the wrong products were used. My friend had a similar experience and got a dip manicure. Every nail had the color pop off within 5 hours!!! read more

This is the best manicure I have ever had! The polish stayed perfect (Dazzle Dry) for literally four weeks! ...not a single chip or crack or anything on the perfectly manicured nails. Very thankful they were able to take me last minute on a Sunday. I have ingrown toe nails and usually my regular nail place take care of them. I mentioned it to my nail tech and she acknowledged but did nothing about it. The price was higher than what I usually pay $75 for no-chip mani and reg pedi. I have been dedicated to this salon for a few years now, especially because I love that they have Dazzle Dry polish. I was in today for a mani/pedi (didn't really need the pedi but I'm leaving on vacation) and it was a painstaking experience. The technician was OBSESSED and AGGRESSIVE with my toes and fingers. I'm upset and perplexed as to why the owner has not recognized how ROUGH this technician clearly treats her customers. I had to ask her several times to stop what she was doing (which in all my years of having my nails done I have never ever had to do). She cut and then filed each of my nails for several minutes. They are STUBS. Like I said, I always get my nails done at this salon so they are not in bad shape, this was just clearly a horrible technician. I will not be back. read more

My friend and I chose this nail spa because were going to be in Wilmette for lunch. We called ahead and made appointments, two mani/pedis. Once we were seated for our pedicures the staff was rude and had a hard time listening when I explained what I wanted. The pedicure was fine, but when I moved to get my manicure (switched to a no chip) I waited 15 minutes before someone came to start. Once she started she got up to finish two other manicures while working on mine. She was rough and caused bleeding on a couple of my fingers. She got her phone and started texting instead of working on my no chip. I know it was a Friday and they were so busy, but they should have said they didn't have time for a no chip. She was rushed and did a terrible job on just the manicure part. I finally said I was done and no longer wanted to continue. I will never ever go back. read more

One of the best manicures and pedicures I've ever had! I had a special event, but had been sooo busy all week that I forgot to make the appointment, and they squeezed me in and got me out in record time...just as I had asked. The atmosphere is pleasant, upbeat, and attractive. The chairs are super comfy and give a wonderful massage. And, most importantly, my nails look awesome - everyone has been complimenting me! Visited on a Sunday about an hour before closing. Didn't realize the shop closes at 5pm since google said 7pm. Good to know to call next time! They accommodated me really well. No chip on toes and dazzle dry on fingers. One finger chipped within 2 days after heavy use. One toe chipped within one week after swimming in the ocean. Overall, satisfied with my nails even though they chipped. A bit of clear polish would have prevented the chipping from getting worse. Will be back since the shop is very clean and I enjoyed my experience! Maybe next time no chip for both. read more
