I have another nail salon in town that I love, but one time they were too busy and I saw this one had opened (their first week!) so I tried them, and I am so lucky I did! I am a busy art therapist and mom and I take baths so my nails get wet all the time! My nails always start to fall off from other places within 5-7 days but the ones from here stay on 2 weeks like they should! And of course are beautiful. read more

A few yrs ago I tried a couple of other nail techs close to my home by referral of friends and clients, but was quick to realize that there was No comparison to the expertise and detail that Sophia gives me! I won't be going elsewhere again! When Sophia went on vacation I saw Kelly who also did a great job! All of the girls at Friendly Nail Spa have worked together for many yrs and are all so friendly, and from what I have observed over the yrs, they all do Fabulous work! I have taken my mom, aunt and a couple of friends there. They saw some of the other gals while Sophia did my fill and pedicure. This is an honest 3-star review... I had a pedicure done by Cherry and it was great which is why I don't give less stars. She is the sweetest! Why 3 stars you may ask. I made an appointment at a certain time, way in advance because my design required special supplies that had to be ordered by my nail tech as they do not normally carry those supplies. Now, I have been getting my nails done for many years, more than a decade so I very well KNOW that when I make an appointment I will not be seen exactly at that time. People who do their nails know the average wait is 30 minutes and some of us have waited up to an hour (although this is ridiculous wait) but .... I waited almost TWO hours!! This was not the worst part. As I am sitting there, someone walks in and my nail tech starts doing their nails. After that person another one walks in and she repaired her nail!!! She apologized for the wait but she did so until it was my turn and said they were backed up but she never once told me that ahead of time so I could have gone and done something else in the meantime. I don't find this to be an excuse. I had an appointment and being backed up is not an excuse to have someone wait two hours! I know there are circumstances we can not control which is why I asked if they could give me a courtesy discount. I was not asking expecting free or half off but come on 10% maybe a free callus remover service .... something. They refused! On top of that my design was not what I expected and I paid $65 for my nails alone! So disappointed. After two years of going there.... I never went back. No appreciation for their customers. read more

Horrible job on my fill both nails on my hands Shaped differently and she messed up my nails so bad I was so upset she was still trying to charge me $40 even after I had her remove the ugly gel work she had done. My mom and I came here today for two manicure pedicures. Even though they told us they had time for us, they completed my moms pedicure and started her manicure before anyone even came over to me. The woman who eventually did my manicure and pedicure did a pretty good job. It wasnt fantastic but I wouldnt complain about her. But the woman who did my moms gel manicure cut 4 out of her 10 fingers! She also laid my mom down at a weird angle during her manicure (not pedicure) and then blamed her when her nails werent curing properly in the machine. It was a terrible experience for my mom. The service was great! The ladies are very attentive and actually talk to you without any side comments in their own language. However, it hasn't even been a week since I got them done and my gel nails are chipped and the studs came off only after three days. There is terrific selection of gel colors which is awesome since many other places do not always have the unique purples, blues, and glitter colors that I want in a gel polish. Giving two stars because the place is clean and it's easy to get an appointment/walk in without a long wait. Won't be coming back due to my last visit. Got a pedicure and my gal was being a little too aggressive with her tools, told her so. Not even 2 minutes after saying she was being too rough, she nicked me pretty good with her tool, which resulted in my toe bleeding profusely for a good 5-10 minutes. We arrived 15 minutes before the place closed (not being aware of the time) and they stayed opened for us. I loved the color choices and they did a good job on my nails as well as my three friends who went with me. I was disappointed that my gel nails only lasted a week and started chipping off.
