But nothing too bad or different from any other dry cleaner I've used. I've been pleased with the price and overall quality. The issue I had is with customer service and using their coupons. The past two times I dropped off my clothes (via the drive-thru), I've been rudely reminded to present my coupon before I hand them my clothes, not when I pay. Not a pleasant reminder, but more of a 'now I have to go back and ring up each item all over again.' I don't dry clean too often so I had honestly forgotten their coupon process from before. It's a simple process that I'm sure regulars are used to, and apparently really frustrates the cleaners if not done properly. As an alternative to potentially frustrating yourself and customers with how coupons are accepted, how about asking up front 'do you have any coupons?' Or, instead of stating on the coupon; 'must present coupon at drop off', which I did, have it more accurately read 'present prior to handing over items.' The cleaner did come back out after applying the coupon and further explained their coupon process in a more friendly and professional tone, which I appreciated. Just wish folks would treat customers nicely and with respect all the time, even when we are not as familiar with how you do business as you are.

Tried to post this review on Yelp, but since I get chatty, I overshot the character limit. Oops…read more Rewrite! (This is mostly from May 25th.) I woke up, normal day, wandered into my laundry room and got the "priority" load in the washer. Detergent in, water full, agitator agitating. About 30 seconds in, my washer made a loud *POP* and smoke billowed out of the top. I shut everything down, pulled the plug, fanned the smoke out of the house. No fire, thankfully. If I hadn't been within hearing range of that pop... ugh, I'm nauseous thinking of how that would have ended. Long story short: I squeezed out as much water as possible, tossed it into a heavy duty trash bag and Yelped for the closest laundromat. Let me say this now - I haven't seen the inside of a laundromat in 22 years. I had no idea how long it would take. From past experience, I thought I'd need a book, tons of quarters and assumed I'd be perched on a broken table without AC, sweatin' like Richard Simmons in his glory days. I even worked myself up into a mild panic attack overthinking it! For real, I started throwing stuff in a backpack like I was trekking across Europe. A book, 4 crochet projects, water and snacks. Brain went off the reservation. I was probably over-caffeinated in preparation for my perceived all-nighter. Oops. Anyway, back on point... I liked this place a lot! It got me excited at the thought of stripping the bed and bringing pillows over here! Who gets jazzed about laundry?! This place really is pretty nice! It's clean, convenient and stays pretty busy, so you feel safe if you're there till closing at midnight. Is it sparkly and pristine? Let's be real, you go there to clean messy stuff. Is there yucky stuff on the floor? Rarely, but usually from one of the kids running around. It's summer, expect a lot of kids - they're free entertainment! Last week there was a puppy in a purple gingham dress being strolled around by 2 kids - way too cute! Everyone pulled out their cameras! The employees/owner sweeps regularly to keep the lint, dryer sheet escapees and dust bunnies under control. I am perfectly happy to keep coming! No rush to buy a new washer just yet.

Very clear, air conditioned and lots of washers and dryers. I found the card system they use to be very user friendly with clear instructions. And I've seen many regulars are happy to lend a helping hand if anyone gets confused. I have only ever seen one rolling cart to be used, and the chairs are few so if you come at a busy time, or in a weekend don't expect to find either available. The large washers are $11/cycle and can easily handle two larger loads together so I end up combining towels & rugs with my darks. The large dryers are $2/cycle but they don't dry larger loads with one cycle. I have found its more effective to split my larger loads into two dryers. I have been twice so far and have been pleased with Adamstone Local Laundry - I'll be back!

The dryer price--$2 for just 25 minutes--feels pretty steep, and I often end up needing to spend extra just to fully dry my clothes. With only a small number of two-load washers, I've also had to use more expensive machines when those are occupied. The space itself is clean, which I appreciate, but when water was spilled on the floor there were no supplies available for customers to clean it up. The bathroom also didn't have any paper towels during my visit, which added to the frustration. I'll continue coming here because it's close to home, but if there were another laundromat a bit closer, I'm not sure this would be my first choice.
