Went here to get suits for the groom & groomsmen in our wedding & initially our experience was great. Everyone seemed very friendly & helpful when ordering our suits however when it came time to deliver on their service the quality control was poor. First they sent one groomsman away with only a jacket and pants telling him we didn't order a shirt, tie & shoes for him. That got sorted out but what didn't was them giving two of our groomsmen the completely wrong suits. The whole grooms party wasn't together until the day of the wedding so they were unaware that the suits were not the same until getting dressed hours before the wedding when it was too late to fix it I don't understand how a shop that only deals with tuxes and has so much experience dealing with wedding parties can mess up so horribly. My husband had to rent a suit from them for a friends wedding shortly after ours & they did comp that suit which we do appreciate. However what's done is done & its unfortunate that their mistake will be reflected in our wedding photos forever. read more

Extremely frustrating with not only the fitting but the customer service is this store. My son was a ring bearer m, went in to get fitted assuming it was done properly. And when it was time to put on the suit it was 4x too big and the wedding was an hour away. I can't seem to understand how the measurements were so off. You pay so much for rentals and to have his holding his pants majority of the time because there wasn't much Lee way with pictures and ceremonies, is really embarrassing. Not for ourselves but for Friar Tux as well, safe to say many people asked what happened. Then you walk to the counter and have several associates walk past you without a simple acknowledgment. "Hey give us a few minutes while we finish up." But great customer is scarce so I shouldn't expect much. Safe to say I would never rent or do business again. I'm sure the review will be taken lightly or brushed off but hopefully others have a much better experience and don't have to waste their money. read more

I came here to look for a suit for my wedding. They have a lot of variety when it comes to colors and styles. They aren't those frumpy suits with the bulky shoulder pads you would get at Mens warehouse. I bought my suit for $260 and I love how it looks on me!! They are adjusting the pants to fit my size as we speak. If you go and want great service I HIGHLY recommend asking for Irvin. He is so good at answering ALLLL questions asked. He gives the BEST advice when it comes to colors, how a suit fits, what accessories are best etc. You can tell he enjoys his job and takes it serious. He doesn't make you feel pressured to just pick anything and never once rushed me no matter how busy it was. He made it fun to try on suits. A FEW negatives about the place are they are limited on certain sizes when you want to try them on. Also, they have 6 different rental styles with multiple colors BUT you can only select 2 styles/colors so they can ORDER them and you can try them on when they come in. You also have to provide 3 people's names in order to be able to try them on. They have about 6 different purchase option styles with multiple colors. You can try these on whenever since they are always in stock to sell BUT they might not have your size. I know it sounds tedious but honestly it wasn't a deal breaker and customer service made it easy. I ended up with the suit i felt best in. Its also SO affordable. Thanks for everything Irvin! I've been renting suits and tuxedos from here for 8 years now and they have always given great service. They have moved locations; but even now they haven't lost their commitment to their. customer. I came a couple weeks ago to get fitted for a tux for my friend's wedding. Danny was great in getting my measurements (which turned out to be so well fitted it felt custom) and made sure everything was correct for the order. Had such a great experience here for my wedding this past weekend! Came in 8 months before my wedding date and picked out the exact outfit I wanted for myself and all of my groomsmen. On the day of pick up (three days before the wedding), I decided that I wanted to change the entire look for myself and my entire groomsmen crew. KATHRYN was sooooo helpful with this process and made the entire switch incredibly easy and fast. TERRIBLY under-staffed !!! We've been waiting here for almost 20 minutes in line to pick up our tux for today's wedding, and we haven't moved! DO NOT go to this place if you have any sense of time sensitivity. Men's Warehouse for another wedding last week; I picked up and got out within 5 minutes. Our wedding is in a couple hours. I will never be going to Friar Tux again. I've uploaded a picture of the line. EDIT although the pick up was a bad experience, the drop off was good. Quick and easy. I also appreciate the manager speaking to me, and apologizing for the under staffed day. It takes courage to reach out. For this reason, I am editing the Yelp review for a higher star value. I hope to see improvement on staffing for clients on the next go around (particularly at peak times. Possibly integration of a text wait-system - so that people aren't forced to wait in line and can go walk around instead - or, an online fulfillment system to streamline the process). read more

Suit rentals should often be the easiest and smoothest process of preparing for a wedding. Friar tux handled my groomsmen (8) of them. Throughout the process they were very informative, helpful and kind. Everything was going very smoothly until pick up day. As we arrived for our planned fit and pick up, friar tux was fairly busy already, the wait was 1.5 hours to just do my final fitting. I was asked to return later, so i left and then returned as instructed 1.5 hours later. Upon arriving for the second time i was told the same thing again. On my third trip to friar tux i was helped by a women named Amy. Amy was nice, and she was friendly, but did not properly do her job by any means... As the groom you would like to look your best on your wedding day, and feel confident. I got dressed, my shirt was short, my pants were short, my vest and jacket were also very short on me.... After asking to try on a bigger size that would fit properly, i was ensured that i looked great and did not need to do that, I was sent out the door with poor fitting clothes being ensured "thats how it is supposed to fit". As I arrived at home i realized Amy had actually packed up the complete wrong vest for me aswell. As i arrived at home and re-tried on my suit, I realized i was rushed, poorly fitted and lied to being told that my clothes did indeed fit properly. The next morning I went back at opening and was greeted by the store manager. She was very helpful, intelligent, and quick. I wish i could of had her help Me the first time. Overall the experience was disappointing since many of my groomsmen also experienced the same problems with Amy. I do not believe this was intentional on Amy's part but I also do not believe she cared as much as she should have about the customers of friar tux. My wedding was on May 30, 2021. I had a total of 10 Groomsmens, 2 ring bearers along with Both my father and father in law that needed to rent suits. I initially had inquired at Men's Warehouse for the rentals and decided to go with Friar Tux. It was no question when each person in my group was gonna save $60+ on their rental compared to Men's Warehouse. They also threw in my Dad's suit along with my father in laws suit free of charge since it was such a large group. The whole process from my groups fittings, pick up and return was hassle free.
