Since it's mostly still take out right now cars come and go fairly quickly so you can always find something. Inside: It's fairly small and you order at a counter. I've only done take out. The goods: Healthy and healthy seeming things Lots of salad, or quinoa or rice bowls. There are pre set bowls that you slightly customize (ie protein selection) or you can build your own. The last time I went they had a new selection of tacos. I got chicken ones and they were pretty tasty. Staff: Everyone is always so nice . I was finally around the area before Freshii closed so I stopped in for a healthy meal. There was a big sign on the front window that was for $7.99 daily deals which had a different burrito/bowl depending on the day of the week which is a great deal. There were signs all throughout the restaurant advertising this deal including where the utensils were and on the plexiglass that separates the cashier from the customer. Since I was there on Wednesday, I was locked into getting the Teriyaki Twist. After placing my order, the total was way more than I expected. When I reread the the tiny sign for the deal at the register, I saw in the fine print that the offer expired September 30. Really wish they updated their signage, considering there was so much of it around the store. I added chicken to my teriyaki bowl so it wasn't quite so plain. The chicken didn't really resemble chicken. It had the texture of a vegetarian chicken substitute and had no seasoning. It was kind of what you would expect from raw broccoli and edamame. Most of the brown rice had teriyaki sauce at least so there was some flavour there. Overall was really not impressed with the misleading signage. read more

Markham has a Freshii at long last! My closest one used to be in Scarborough. When I do crave Freshii, there's one five minutes away from my workplace. After having a nice long weekend in Hamilton, I was driving home on Family Day and wanted to grab something for dinner. I remembered this Freshii and decided to pay it a visit. This Freshii is steps away from Prairie Girl Bakery and Sunset Grill, which are two places that I love to drop by. This Freshii is on Ritual. I ordered a fiesta salad with tofu. The fiesta salad is my go-to salad. I love the citrus dressing and I will eat anything with corn in it. I have been on a salad kick as of late. I can't explain why. My salad was ready in fifteen minutes. I walked in. It was dead. I was the only customers. There is a fake patch of grass on the wall. It's a bit odd to see fake grass staring right at me. However, it's perfect if you want to hold your beverage or food for a photo over there. What was unusual was seeing a sign saying, "Do not resist chances/Take them like vitamins" in front of the garbage. I didn't know if that was twisted humour or just a coincidence. I went to the counter and said that I had a Ritual order. I also said my first name. The woman there seemed disinterested in everything but what was on her iPhone. She looked at the only paper bag on the counter, made sure it was for me, and handed it over. Weird. I took some napkins and a fork. I then drove home to unpack and then eat. My salad was yummy, as expected. Everything was fresh. I especially enjoyed the avocados and corn. The lime dressing was in its own container, which I appreciated. The tofu was cut up into three triangles. It was unexpected. Most Freshii locations cut them into cubes. The triangles looked fine. I felt like staff were taking a shortcut in prepping it. It's a nice location. Customer service could be more attentive. I'll drop by again soon and see if this visit was simply an anomaly. (90) read more

Glad there's finally a Freshii around here so we can grab a big ol' salad when we have the craving. Salads are good and fresh, same as you can expect from any other Freshii. I usually find I'm waiting a while though, even when I'm the only one there. Service could certainly be more attentive, but they're friendly still. I would mention that I always order one same salad and I add balsamic dressing. 3/5 times now, the dressing smelled seriously off.... I think they may want to check their dressings, or check if they're giving the right ones. read more

If you want something healthy and delicious, I highly recommend checking Freshii out! Not only are the staff pretty friendly and helpful, but the food overall tastes great! It was our first time going so we weren't exactly sure what item to get as they have a lot choices. We came around 6 on a Sunday which wasn't busy yet. We both opted for the bowls, placed our order, and then found a seat ourself. The food didn't take too long to prepare and the worker would yell out the order to come pick it up. Our bowls were full of flavour and the portions were fair for what you pay for. However, my only complaint about the bowl was that I felt they are slightly abit stingy on the extra chicken as it was extra. I had only Maybe 2-3 pcs which was so little that my bf could count how many I had. I felt if I'm paying extra, i expect at least bigger pieces or few more. Location/Service This place is in a new plaza a little north of the Woodbine/Highway 7 intersection, right across from LA Fitness. There's a little bit of parking available. Inside the place is bigger than I thought - with possible around 20 people seating. It is also designed as a buy-n-go kind of style - interior gives off a relaxing vibe with its white colouring and furniture. There is a green wallpaper good for photos. Service is good, staff were friendly and orders were relatively fast. Food I haven't tried other locations, but I like the fact that they have daily specials - which is around $7+tax. I tried the Baja Burrito - adding in Tofu (extra $2) as the protein. All the ingredients were pretty fresh - the tofu was soft to chew. The avocado was a little raw to my taste though. The burrito size itself was large enough to fill me as a meal, which was a surprise. Overall, I won't say this place is the best, but good have some healthy selection around the area. read more

Despite it being an established chain, I had never tried Freshii, so when one opened up around town, we took ourselves over for a taste. As the name suggests, Freshii aims to serve fresh food with a focus on healthy choices. I'm always interested in fast food choices that won't lead me to an early grave, so my excitement was high. Unfortunately, this meal did not bolster this emotion. I ordered the Tex Mex burrito, which comes with: brown rice, avocado, aged cheddar, black beans, corn, salsa fresca, and Greek yogurt ranch. If we assume that the ingredients were fresh, (which they very well could have been), my burrito lacked basic seasoning. It was bland. Think of the food and flavour equivalent of a deserted town with a single tumbleweed rolling through. After a couple bites, it made sense why they leave Sriracha bottles at every table. The food needs saving, and Sriracha is its hero. My friend had a baja burrito with tofu, and had a similar experience. I appreciate that a large business is doing some social good by offering a healthier alternative, but this missed the mark. read more

Great place for a healthy but filling meal! Walked in and they had hand sanitizer readily available and followed Covid-19 protocols. The staff were friendly and efficient. I ordered the Oaxaca bowl with steak, and my partner ordered the Buddha's satay with chicken. I will say the Buddha's bowl was very peanutty and delicious with the base being rice noodles. This is the second Freshii location that I have ever visited. The first one was in Scarborough, and I ordered a burrito and it was nothing special. This time, after working out across the street I decided to drop by with my partner. I ordered the Tex Mex in a bowl, and my partner got Chicken Teriyaki in a bowl. They were both very dry, and I had to ask for more sauce (which the staff seemed confused about). Even after adding more sauce, the protein portion was so small and it just felt like I was eating a bunch of rice. I used to love Freshii when I worked at York Mills/Don Mills, it was 5 stars everytime. I tried this location now for a third time hoping that each previous poor experience was a one off. This place is missing the mark across multiple areas of customer satisfaction. Most important for me is taste and food quality. I order the fiesta salad, and at the other Freshii locations I go to they put the salad in a bag and shake it up and mix it. I really used to love Freshii, and I hate to give a business a poor review, this is actually my first yelp review ever. This place was very hasty in prepping the food. They didn't cut up the tofu, refuse to mix the dressing and gave me noodles instead of rice when the bowl comes with rice. In all honestly, you can find better service in downtown locations. I don't know what's up with this place, but they seriously gotta step up their game. Delicious, healthy food for the most part. However, it seems pretty inefficient to have customers fill out those cards when they want to build their own bowls and then have the staff (who appear very confused) input every single topping and ingredient into the cash register so they can print off a receipt and then struggle to read it as they prepare the order. It would be much faster, simpler, and make more sense to have a flat rate for different types of build your own bowls and then have the customers tell the staff what toppings they want as they are making the bowls (similar to how they do it at Chipotle). Somehow after that lengthy ordering process they still forgot a couple of the ingredients on my bowl and gave me one I didn't ask for. I asked for romaine on top and I got three large pieces of lettuce that weren't even cut up properly. They also skimp on the amount of each topping they give you and don't fill the bowl up. Also, don't bother getting the falafels, they are horrible and very dry. They even price cherry tomatoes and regular tomatoes differently for crying out loud. They should definitely rethink their ordering structure. read more
