The Bomb Bagel is one of the greatest tasting bagels I've ever had in my life! I'm from So-Cal and I'm here for a week, I make it mandatory for me to have a bomb bagel 2 times this week. The freshness in the tomatoes, avocados, spinach and the crunch from the cucumber is absolutely astonishing. The flavors that go into your mouth after each bite is beautiful. If you need any suggestions choosing which bagel to get, I prefer Jalapeños and cheese or Sesame seed with Pepper jack cheese. I promise this bagel will not disappoint you at all. I went to Fresh Twisted because it has so many good reviews and uses locally sourced products. i'm so glad I chose this place. Fresh Twisted has a great vibe with servers who smile and make you feel welcome. You can build you own sandwich, salad, or quesadilla, or burger by checking a list of breads, vegetables, etc. My turkey sandwich with melted jack cheese and all the trimmings was so fresh and good and so large I could only eat half. They also have Ice cream, candies, muffins, teas and organic coffee. I would go back in a heartbeat! So amazing! read more

Food was absolutely delicious. I have Celiac Disease and stopped in for some gluten free food as I was passing through Chico. They made me feel confident about the fact that there wouldn't be any cross contamination. Breakfast sandwich on GF bread was EXCELLENT. One of my favorite places to go for lunch. I love meeting my girlfriends here for a smoothie and hangout. Nice open layout, fun art, and fresh fantastic food. Great breakfast, wraps, and burgers. So the food was good, veg options and ingredients were overall very good. I would give the food 4 stars but knocked them down to two because of their wasteful ways and insane use of single use plastics including straws, solo cups for all beverages whether dining in or takeaway, plastic cutlery, and sauce cups (I got FOUR for dining in). they did have biodegradable looking plates and To go boxes. I did not see a place to recycle. I also found their ordering process way too complicated and there are many ways to simplify it to take some of the tedium off the customer. When you walk up to the counter, there are a variety of half sheets of paper that each person must fill out with a crazy amount of choices. I still had to ask the young woman at the register several questions and then while we were there, she punched it into the register anyway. This also seems wasteful and unnecessary both of my time and of paper. Boards with step by step choices that the register person guides you through seem like they would easily simplify this process and save a few trees. Final note - the homemade teas, lemonade and sodas are an awesome idea but the lemonade my dad got had no sweetener of any kind and the soda I got had too much sweetener. Overall, I want to love this place but will hold off on returning until they make some simple changes to minimize waste and tedium on the part of the customer. read more

My favorite drinks here are the fresh juices, the ruby red and the sunset on ice are my go to choices but never have been disappointed with any of them. The cafe has many options to choose from salads, sandwiches and I love their rib eye tacos..but what is great is you can have anything made to your liking. Today was a warm day for February so I had a pina colada smoothie with a banana and a salad, the toppings are your choice to build. We are a blessed community with so many great places to dine and this is one that I come back to..I have seen a couple of reviews that are not favorable with either price or service but price for what I am getting ? Worth it and have seen nothing but workers offering good service. I would hope people would try for themselves this is a forum about the food. Been here for a half an hour and still no food. Everyone else that has come in after us is almost done eating. I hope the food makes up for it. Update: still no food, but a free smoothie. Of course now they are playing Red Hot Chili Peppers on the speakers...the newer crappy stuff, not the Blood Sugar Sex Magic RHCP. Those that came in after us are now beginning to leave after consuming their meals. Update 2: Apparently there aren't any breakfast cooks available. The girl who took my order cooked it. It tasted ok but it wasn't a breakfast burrito. It was a veggie wrap with potatoes and ketchup mixed in there. I think there was a tiny piece of bacon in there somewhere. This sucks because I rarely give out bad reviews; mostly because I don't visit places with bad reviews. As a vegan, I hate to give a bad review to a restaurant that actually has the word "vegan" on its menu, but as a vegan, I have to give a bad review and warning to other vegans and vegetarians that this restaurant has repeatedly served meat in vegan orders. Fresh Twisted has made mistakes on multiple occasions with serving animal products on vegan orders, such as putting beef patties on vegan burgers, as has happened to me twice and has been reported repeatedly in the Chico vegan community since at least 2014. If you notice the mistake, they are apologetic and refund your money (of course), but if their systems cannot reliably fulfill vegan orders, that shows a lack of respect for their vegan customers and makes them even worse than a non-vegan restaurant. If you are not vegan and you're reading this, you should still care about this kind of kitchen sloppiness. read more

This place at first glance made me cock an eyebrow. I mean it's right there in a gas station mini strip mall, but I am so very glad my friend took me here. The food was excellent and the service was great! The front desk had a selection of pastries and sweets that looked amazing, but I had the ham, egg, bacon and cheese croissant. I was expecting deli sliced ham but no sir, it was thick cut, sweet glazed ham and it was delicious! Will definitely make this place a staple when I come up to Chico! read more

So lucky we stopped for a early lunch!! We were on our way to a golf tournament and decided to get sandwiches. Half to eat at the cafe and half to eat later. I had a multi grain turkey avocado lettuce tomato jalapeño cucumber spinach pickle and bacon( costs more but so worth it) and hummus. It was a very delicious sandwich. I took the pickles and tomato out of the half I was eating later because I hate soggy bread!!! My sandwich 4 hours later was just as delicious as the first one. I also put hummus on it too. Yummy!! Thanks to Yelp, we found Fresh Twisted Cafe while we were in Chico for the weekend. Made-to-order wraps, burgers, smoothies, juices, etc. using healthy farm fresh ingredients at affordable prices. Wish we could have taken this place home with us! We were greeted with friendly service and smoothie samples, while figuring out what to order. Everything we sampled was delicious! I ordered a wrap with all the fixins, and the bf got a burger. When the food was brought out, we were told that if we didn't like what we had ordered, we could take it back and get refunded. No need to do that though since we wolfed it all down. I ate about 1/2 of the wrap since it was huge, and the bf helped with the rest. We grabbed a juice to go. Only a medium since the large looks like a Big Gulp, and we'd just had our wrap and burger! I imagine that if I lived nearby, I'd come after a workout for a large thirst quenching juice or smoothie. I was a little bummed they were only open through the afternoon because then we had to figure out where else to go for dinner. Will definitely come back if we're ever in the area! read more
