this is my reasonably priced organic market. it has varieties not available at Kroger's: orange beets, parsnips, varieties of yams, rutabagas, turnips. etc.... a wide selection of apples. natural soaps, lotions and vitamins n minerals. it always seems clean. I do think the fruits need better checking of spoiling so choose carefully. checkout can be self checkouts or with a cashier (which we prefer. my complaint is website!! one must mark your own coupons to get discounted pricing. I also have troubling finding the section for scanning our purchase. my biggest complain is the checkout for purchase!!! read more

So I pass this market everyday and always wanted to stop in so today was the day!!! Love this store mostly organs and fresh foods which I love! Wonderful layout all produce in the back of the store and deli to the right of the store check out to the left there is also a place to sit and eat food behind the check out area which is cool! The employees were nice and engaging and friendly unlike most grocery stores where they just stare and barely want to assist you when u need help! There is self check out and regular check out also! If you want to stay within the Worthington boundaries, you have two shopping options, Kroger or fresh thyme and if you've ever shopped at the Kroger, you know it's frustrating to park there. your car will eventually get a ding and nearly every single time I go,something happens to my car at Kroger. At Fresh Thyme, the parking lot is a little more spacious, (both in the actual spaces and the traffic lanes are all wider Its not paved at an incline so less happens to your car here which makes me more happy and willing to pay the higher prices that you pay at Fresh Thyme Fresh Thyme's owned by Meijer so pretty much you are getting similar produce similar meat that you would get at Meijer but at a little higher cost, however, one doesn't have to travel all the way up to Meijer which is in Lewis Center They also have items that Meijer just doesn't carry. I like the compactness of this little teeny tiny store. I also like the fact that they have quality paper bags that have handles! We were out running errands and planned to stop at Fresh Thyme, but didn't realize this location was here until maps pulled it up. Very convenient and easy to find, with plenty of parking in the lot around back. The store itself was clean and nicely organized, and they had a nice samples table with various dips and cracker, plus make your own pizza dippers (it literally was a large bowl with mini cups of pizza sauce, shredded cheese, and chopped pepperoni with mini dippers - delicious, but hilariously messy to do with a shopping cart! Thankfully, they also have nice clean restrooms to clean up in!) There was a good selection of items, and we found what we were looking for. It's nice to know this location is here for the future! read more

This is a location of Fresh Thyme Market that I didn't even know existed! Came here to pick up some specialty groceries and supplies for friends who are ill with COVID and who so couldn't come out to shop. They also have special dietary needs in their house and Fresh Thyme is a grocer who can fill those needs. If you've been to a Fresh Thyme Market you know that they have great fresh foods, a huge bulk food and snack section, and excellent produce. This location was no different than any other Fresh Thyme that I have visited in the past and I was very pleased. Don't be fooled by the building being right up on high Street, the parking lot is sizable and is kind of hidden in the back of the building. Very convenient if you live in the north side of Columbus, Clintonville, Beechwold, north Upper Arlington, or Worthington. The location is inside the 270 beltway. read more

An amazing market. My sister had mentioned this is one of her favorite places to shop groceries, and after visiting for the first time yesterday, I completely understand why. It starts with the physical storefront itself: a massive brick building, it is impossible to miss when driving on High St. in Worthington. Plentiful and easy parking. Upon entering, there was an abundance of shopping carts and cleaning supplies. The interior's openness, high ceilings, and cleanliness made for an outstanding first impression. Excellent selection with neat displays throughout (such as the Rocky Mountain pies and mochi station). Had all the health goods we know and love such as non-dairy milk and kombucha, through some new discovers like watermelon seed butter. Wide selection of produce and meat too. Basically no wait at the register and prompt, friendly service from Gabby. We purchased an insulated bag at checkout which kept our goods fresh until arriving home. Overall, a really awesome experience that I look forward to returning to in the future. read more

One of the last things I did before leaving Columbus was get groceries. It was a Sunday, and I did not want to drive home from Columbus and then get to town to do groceries. I love Fresh Thyme Market, and I love the fact that this one delivers. I decided as a time saver to have my groceries delivered to my hotel, the night before I leave. My hotel had a full size fridge/freezer so it was perfect. I order items to cook the next evening and of course Boars Head deli products for my sandwiches for lunch for the rest of the week. Service was great because I got my groceries delivered quickly. I got my weekly essentials delivered and it was one less thing I had to worry about. read more

I always forget that Fresh Thyme has a Worthington location! It's just off High Street in Worthington. I always find something interesting here, and the prices are great for the quality of the food. If nothing else, this is a great place to pick up chicken and fresh produce - it's good quality and surprisingly inexpensive. The deli section is nice also, and there's a pretty large nutrition and supplements area, if that's your thing. The frozen section is pretty limited, and you may not find particular brands if you're brand loyal, but you will certainly be able to complete your shopping list. read more

Okay, Fresh Thyme, you're winning me over. I went to the Sawmill location and was unimpressed at first, but I've been back and explored the offerings. Now I stop in once a month or so. You could do most of your shopping here. They have plenty of good produce, meat, bakery stuff, etc. Bulk, snacks, etc. I just stop in for a cold drink and snack sometimes, and it is good for that too. This location is in a weird spot on the north side of downtown Worthington. Didn't know it was here. Then when I went, knowing about where it was, I almost missed it. There are signs, but the building is not what I was expecting to see. Big parking lot in back. Open, bright, airy inside. Good service. Decent prices. Some very good clearance items, but you have to search. (Did organic Jelly Bellies not sell because there's not a market, or because no one wanted to pay $8 for a small bag? I mean, I'll pay the $2 clearance price, and they turned out to be pretty darn good...) read more

Got an Instacart delivery from Fresh Once Upon a Thyme today. In addition to them being out of half of my order, I was delivered rotten mangoes. First, this is on the Instacart shopper who picked them in the first place but second, why, as a store who has Fresh in the name, would you allow rotten produce to be sold??? Especially when your price point is higher than Whole Foods! After reading some reviews, I see this is kind of a common theme here. Will be getting Prime deliveries exclusively now.....super unhappy. read more

Since the closure of my favorite beloved grocery store (#RIPFreshMarket), Fresh Thyme has been my latest go to in terms of finding a balance between affordability, quality, and a pleasant shopping experience. A megamart, they are not--but to me, that's a good thing! The store is easy to navigate, never too crowded, and their produce is one of the best selections I've seen. High quality meat and seafood availability is another plus. Also, if you shop or meal plan based on their weekly specials and ads, nearly as affordable as a typical big chain supermarket. Definitely check it out if you want a grocery shopping upgrade! read more

Since Graceland Kroger's forever remodel this location of Fresh Thyme, along with Whole Foods and Saraga, became my regular grocery haunts. When I initially reviewed Fresh Thyme I mentioned that many out of date or close to being out of date items. Over the last few months, I have noticed issues with close expiration dates less and less. It's now to the point that even in a couple of trips to Fresh Thyme I won't see anything that's out of date or close to being so. But, I still check those dates though just to be sure. Fresh Thyme carries many Quorn & Gardein products as well as Beyond Meat burgers at competitive price points. They also carry the band of milk that we drink. This is perfect because it's way closer than driving to Easton or Dublin to go to Whole Foods just to pick up milk. Fresh Thyme's section of vegan/veggie things is ever expanding. As someone who eats a mostly plant based diet, I am all about this. Oh and Fresh Thyme is still the the only retailer, that I have found in the area, to carry Tofutti Cuties. P.S. Make sure you visit on Wednesdays as that's the day that the weekly ads overlap. read more

Wow, was this store crazy this morning. There was a line clear outside because Fresh Thyme just opened their doors today and were giving $50 gift cards to the first 250 people in line. Therefore as you can imagine there was no place to park this morning and police had to handle the traffic situation. Everyone started parking across the street at CVS and Dairy Queen to get parking. Today, I browsed through the market and I couldn't just come in and leave empty handed. I needed to get something. I went through all the samplings they had kim chi, sushi, coffee, beer, and some other things. Since it was my first time in this market, I liked the quality I was seeing. I don't know if the prices are good compared to other stores but I would say it's similar to Whole Foods. Your getting quality food versus price value. My husband and I got sandwiches here for dinner. I got the red, white and green cheese melt, it was so good! It consisted of three different kinds of cheeses, pesto and a tomato hence the name. My husband ordered the flying pig and it didn't taste quite as good I heard. He said the pork in that sandwich was just too dry. I would suggest the store get trash bins because even though you have an indoor and outdoor eating area, you need somewhere to throw that trash away. Maybe they'll realize it and get it soon, but I can't blame them as today was crazy for them being the grand opening day. It looked like they sold a lot today. As for the area, I'm happy they chose it because it is great for the seniors living nearby in the nursing homes. They can just walk up here and get their groceries. For the Worthington community it's also great because it expanded growth in jobs I saw. The only thing I also suggest is creating more space for parking since you had customers taking up CVS parking because they said they couldn't find parking at Fresh Thyme. I'm definitely going to be coming back here often when I need quality meats and produce. As well as something fresh from bakery. They have everything I need all in one place. read more

Fresh Thyme has taken many steps to improving their stores from when they first opened. I love the concept of Fresh Thyme and their prices. I stopped shopping here for awhile because even though their prices are great their produce doesn't last very long. It goes from not ripe to bad to quickly. After a few months I went back, and I could tell they improved their produce handling. Fruits and vegetables last longer now. The atmosphere is relaxing, and is easy to shop. I would shop here more often if there were a store closer. read more

I love this Fresh Thyme. their fruit and veggies are fresh and priced competitively with the big stores. same with the deli counter pricing and freshness. veggie pizza is a favorite. regular $9.99 now $5.99! thru August 20. excellent soup [stopped for now thanks to Covid. good selection of wine and craft beer. the store is always very clean. the weekly specials are great deals. and, about the staff, they are all pleasant and helpful. i can't understand those who post 1-3 stars. do they have hidden agendas? frankly, i'm glad they keep dogs out. would like them to require customers to wear masks. read more

Most items I found to be comparable to similar stores in our area, some a bit higher, but others, especially the sale items, to be great deals! Impressed with their gluten-free selection. I love this place! This might be a controversial opinion but I think I like it more than Lucky's - it's way more chill. It has its own, quiet parking lot, and is always well staffed. Today I went shopping on a beautiful Saturday at 3 pm. If I had gone to Kroger or Lucky's it would have been a MADHOUSE, but here I peacefully parked, shopped with no hassle, and didn't have to wait in line to check out. They always have good sales, and I love how the produce is arranged - they have lots of items in multiple spot so if you're like me and always forget something it's easy to have a second chance to grab it. They also have a great variety of house made sausage (chicken and pork) for a good price. Their in store brand items are usually a good deal. My normal stop is typically the Kroger at Graceland, but I'm always happy when I can run up to Fresh Thyme for a grocery trip! It's always such a hassle free shopping experience. read more

Wednesday's are double ad days. I love hump day even more. Produce is always fresh, bakery has a good selection, and they have frozen elk, antelope & bison burgers. I'm already a fan of Fresh Thyme, so I made the 14 minute trip from work to check out this location. I needed some produce anyway. It's a nice store in a new building. The parking lot is around back. All good. My only worry is the single entrance/exit. It will be hard to make a left turn out of the lot onto High St during busy traffic times. Note: I am excited that a third location is currently being built on Polaris and will be only 5 minutes from me. read more

I love this place. They have quality food and merchandise. The employees are very friendly and helpful. The prices are good. I've found the identical item for less than Kroger quite often. This is my new favorite grocery store. read more

On the pro side, Fresh Thyme stocks all of our household's food staples. Snowville milk and Koepplinger's bread in particular, but other random things like the particular type of Vitamin C the kids like, the tea my wife drinks, etc. A number of these things would otherwise require a trip all the way to Whole Foods. And as we live right around the corner from Fresh Thyme, this is very convenient. On the down side, they don't always seem to have everything stocked fresh. I've bought milk before only to take it home and realize it's expired. I guess I should have looked in the store but it didn't really occur to me that past-expiry dated things would be out for sale. I also (slightly begrudgingly) like that they don't offer all the junk food that Kroger carries. It's hard for me to pass up on Coke and Ruffles if they're in front of me. Overall though, I'm glad the store is there, it's really convenient, it's reasonably healthy and well-priced - it does the job. read more

I love this Fresh Thyme and shop here multiple times a week. The produce selection is better quality than Kroger, and prices are good, they have excellent bread, and the bulk selection is excellent. This isn't Whole Foods (and isn't as pricey) nor is it Kroger, but IMHO, it's far more manageable than either of those places. The whole experience was incredible and everyone was so sweet...except for one person who left such a bad impression on me that if I come in again and she's my cashier I will ask for a manager. Her name was Lisa? She was young, tall and thin with dark hair. She had such a bad attitude and was SO rude to me. Not only did she treat me like I was an idiot (it was my first time there) but she made me feel extremely unwelcome. I've been in customer service for years and that is just unacceptable to me. Usually I prefer to leave positive reviews to encourage people but I had to say something. I would put her in a section not pertaining to customer care. read more

Fresh Thyme's staff is a cut above any other grocery store I go to. They go the extra mile when you need help. They always seem happy and pleasant and are easy to talk to. Snooty attitude, I was getting lunch. I got a wrap, chips, drink, and a small cup of soup. I went to sit down, and the an employee, who was also having lunch there, told me I couldn't eat there. Who are you to tell the customer what they can't do? Why was she eating around customers? So, I returned everything. I wanted the soup, because there was a place to sit. Rather than just letting me eat, they took the refund. The manager didn't bother to resolve anything, or ask why. I will never come back here. No customer service. read more

This place is absolutely terrible. I will list five of the main reasons. 1) The produce isn't as fresh as the name would suggest. 2) Product choice is abysmal. 3) No money can be saved shopping here; the prices aren't any better than any of the big chain stores. 4) The employees are no friendlier than anywhere else (which is what I should think you'd expect from this sort of establishment, which seems to be trying to avoid the "big store" image), and some are less so. I've been in a few times, and have never once been greeted by a single person. Even the cashiers seem less than enthusiastic to have your business. 5) The absolute worst part of this place is the "medicine" section. They have several aisles dedicated to nothing but snake oil and absolutely nothing of any therapeutic value whatsoever. I refer to this grocery store as "Five Day old Thyme" versus FRESH Thyme. I was really excited when they opened. People in Dublin LOVE their Fresh Thyme and I was excited to have a low-cost alternative to Giant Eagle and Kroger. I've given the store 3 solid attempts, and I leave disappointed each time. The produce is always at or near it's expiration date. The deal busters (i.e. a bag of apples for $1.99) are always rotten. My worst experience was about two months ago. They advertised a great price on shrimp ($4.99 pound). I went in and bought 5 pounds and brought them home to prepare. The shrimp smelled rancid and had black spots on them (freezer burn spots). I threw out all of the shrimp and wrote an e-mail to the Store Manager letting them know that this had happened. This was the first time I had ever written a store manager but I felt strongly that they should know that they were selling bad seafood that could potentially harm another customer. The manager wrote back and offered a gift card in exchange for my trouble. I went by later in the week to pick it up and I had to awkwardly find a manager to get the gift card. The manager on duty wasn't aware of my e-mail so she called another manager... who called another manager. I ended up waiting at least 20 minutes in the store with my toddler for the gift card. Finally-- a manager came and presented me with a $20 gift card (for less than amount not including tax that I paid for the shrimp). I didn't complain at that point because I was wrangling a tired toddler-- but not only did they sell a bad product, they messed up an opportunity to win back a customer. I won't go back. read more

Grocery shopping is one of those things I know I gotta do but if food could just somehow, I don't know, figure out how to show up in my kitchen, I would do back flips. In fact if the food could just be prepared and ready for consumption the second I walked into the house, I would be forever grateful to the individuals responsible and include them in my Grammy speech. Yeah... none of that is happening in my life. I blame society on my complete dislike of grocery stores; yet at the same time I have to give those I blame a major shout out for Fresh Thyme who make grocery shopping quick, easy, and extremely affordable. Has this ever happened to you: "When does the sale end?! We gotta get to the grocery store before the new ads go into effect!" or the ever popular "Oh, we can't get that yet. The new ad hasn't started yet." This will never happen at Wednesday at Fresh Thyme! Why you ask? Because Wednesday is double ad day so we get to take advantage of two weeks of sales on one day! I think this is a very cool and unique offering that reduces anxiety and stress of making a mad dash to the store for a deal. There are currently two Fresh Thyme stores in Columbus with a third being built in the Gahanna area that I am ECSTATIC about! The stores are set up similarly and feature several Ohio Proud brands which is fantastic. Columbus based Eban's has an endcap at the bakery area at the Worthington location. How sweet is that?!! I find that the customer service still has some bumps that need smoothing out. I've had a few awkward encounters there; especially with their younger associates having inappropriate conversations while I shop and they stocked. read more

Great location for convenience! Quick in and out as this small market style store is a refreshing change from the larger super stores that by the time I park, get my cart and navigate through the cheap clothes and patio sets...I am in an out of Fresh Thyme. The best thing about this concept is it helps our family to eat fresher, healthier foods. The small market size makes it convenient to 'shop for the meal' buying only the ingredients that I need for the next day or two. My favorites are the Meat and Seafood. Before Fresh Thyme, I was grinding my own chicken. now they always have a plethora of ground chicken in the form of sausage. Their sale prices make buying luxuries like grass fed beef and fresh fish an affordable staple. Second is the produce. They always have a vibrant display and again great prices. My favorite find is the peeled garlic packages for $1.49. The fresh squeezed OJ is a treat, especially when on sale, as is their coffee and deli selection of Boars Head at least $1 less per pound than K-----! Enjoy! read more

Before I start my review, I'm going to admit that ALL of it will sound, like, First-World problems. That being said, I was thrilled that I found a place, so incredibly close to my house, that offered the items I need. I need a lot of produce. Initially, I shopped there often enough that I was recognized. I (we) have a large, house-rabbit. She eats a tremendous amount of produce weekly. If I was unable to make the time, by better half did our shopping. Between the two of us, we were not going over a week between shopping trips. I'm not sure what happened, but the quality of the produce, on top of having, on certain days, a massive price increase, majorly went downhill. I mentioned it more than once, and was brushed-off, and told to come on a different day, right after their shipment. I'm not down with that. I need what I need, when I need it. I shouldn't have to go to another store to buy produce, directly after leaving FT. Also, more than one time, after leaving my contact info, trying to special order certain items, I never received a call. Certain members of the staff are AWESOME, but a few others have been completely dismissive. In ending this, if the produce isn't fresh, and if I wouldn't buy it for my pet, it shouldn't be on display for purchase. I sincerely want to continue to shop at this location, but find myself leaving and having to go to another store. read more

I wish I could write something positive but I bought something on 9/4/18 and the expiration date was 7/27/18... defeats the purpose of having the word Fresh in the name of you have to check the expiration dates for products you are purchasing! This isn't the first time this has happened...and they provide a refund but it literally ruined my entire meal today because I used that product and had to throw everything away. read more
